We received awesome customer service and professionalism from Brian's Heating & Cooling. Their 24-hour answering service took our call at 7pm when our AC unit died in 100+ degree heat. We got calls from both Brian and Evelyn within 30 minutes to let us know that Brian would come by first thing the next day. Brian verified our unit was out of warranty and was a goner and gave us four options to replace it. (Brian's two comparable prices were 20% LESS than our previous HVAC provider, who had dismissed our price concerns and just driven away.) Just a couple of hours latet, Jorge was knocking on our door to do the work. He was friendly and professional, and the replacement Amana unit is a higher SEER and much more quiet than our old Goodman unit. When Jorge was done, we mentioned that we wanted to move the unit a few feet away from the original site and for him or Brian to get back to us with a quote. Lo and behold, Jorge was back in an hour to move the unit! In addition, Brian registered the new unit for us and we received the confirmation email from the manufacturer just a few hours after the installation was completed. (Our old unit had never been registered by the original installer in 2012 or it would have been still under the 10-year parts warranty. Bummer.) Brians was contracted to inspect my HVAC system for my home sale. The technician repeatedly slammed the door to the garage. Then kept acting like he wanted to fail my inspection because my furnace didn't want to kick on. On a day when the heat index was over 100. To top it all off the technician plastered large stickers both on the unit inside and outside without notifying me nor gaining my permission. We had a bunch of issues with our air condition unit. We complained about some of the difficulties with such a new unit. Brian took the time to explain what was going on he sent a technician out the very next morning and they diagnosed the issue M was able to determine it was just low on Freon. Brian's was contracted by the property management of my rental to clean our AC. My first interaction with this company was a phone call from the owner/manager telling me that the home warranty crew we had out earlier in the week were idiots feeding me "bulls***", and that he was not willing to send out a full crew until he could eyeball it himself first. His proposed timeframe was not good, as it meant letting him into the house while nobody was home. I let him know I was uncomfortable with that, but he continued to push, and seemed to get offended at the idea that I didn't trust him in my home unattended. I ignored this and we made arrangements to come home early to let him in the next day. He arrived, did his check, and agreed to send his guys out. I asked him to describe what he saw up there and if it could explain the AC issues we've been having. His answers were extremely vague and non-descriptive, I pushed for clarification and he provided none, stating that he would clean it and deal with any on-going issues after the fact. His guys came out and cleaned the AC, but the explanation of what they did/found was minimal at best. They mentioned cat hair, but gave no context as to how dirty it was, whether what they found could adequately explain the AC performance issues we've seen, what could have caused this to begin with, how we can properly avoid this in the future, or really anything. Just the basic greeting, cleaning, and leaving, almost no conversation whatsoever. Because my roommate did not know to keep up on this or what questions to ask, I contacted the owner/manager requesting a follow-up so I could ask those questions myself. He stated that they cleaned the coils, and that I should contact the property management if I wanted more information. Seeing as the property management cannot describe what work was done nearly as accurately as his technicians can, I pushed for a phone call anyway. I needed a better explanation than "we cleaned the coils", and I needed a chance to ask questions. This person outright refused any kind of follow-up whatsoever, and refused to elaborate on what they were doing in my home for 3 hours. TLDR: 1. Incredibly unprofessional language/demeanor during initial phone call 2. Insistence on being in my home unattended 3. No recap from on-site technicians after completing the job 4. Refusal to follow up with any meaningful information after the fact. I don't expect service techs to be world class conversationalists, but I do expect to be kept in the loop, with something resembling professionalism. This is especially true given how long we've been coping with this problem and how many corner cutting AC crews have looked at it. Given what I've seen, I wouldn't recommend these guys get anywhere near my front porch again, much less step foot in my home. Edit: In regards to your response, I suggest you also make it a company policy that you explain that company policy to the tenants. Had you taken the 60 seconds to explain this to me, rather than repeating the exact same sentence roughly 4 times, I would have understood and let it go. Instead, I was left only to assume that you didn't care enough to explain it to me. That may not have been your intention, but you did nothing to stop that perception either. Further, your policy to not perform redundant work is great and all, but not what I took issue with. Your attitude and language during the phone call was the issue. See point #1 above. read more

Just moved into our home in Sun City and was having problems with heater thermostat . Heat was not going on in the early morning. Two Technicians came out and replaced the filters and told me that once a thermostat has been programmed it cannot be re-programmed, and I needed to buy a new thermostat . I knew better so I did not buy a new one. $140 later and I still have no heat in the morning These technicians were very unprofessional and Brian's has not earned my business in the future. No it was in Georgetown Texas. We just moved here and called for service from your company. After you were out our furnace died and we had another company work on our furnace and they showed us how dirty our system was after your guys were here. You charged us $149 and you did nothing. In fact, the system was shutting down due to carbon monoxide Issues that your tech should have found the problem..We could have died in our sleep. Do not hire this company for your Heating and cooling needs. They sent over 2 service men JC VILLANUEVA AND JOE SERRANO and they stole money from our house! When I called the owner he acted like it was no big deal and put the blame on my daughter stating she may have misplaced her own money that she clearly had on the dresser the night before. She works nights so the money she placed on the dresser was there and when the service men went into our house the money was gone!! Brian is an obnoxious and rude person! And called his service guys tol X them to leave because I was on my way to my house to confront them! They left within minutes before I got there! He says he pays his guys well...but just because a person makes "money" doesn't mean that they won't steal money if it is sitting there in plain site! My rental unit, which was being externally managed, developed a lack of A/C problem. My property manager dispatched his preferred vendor to check it out. He reported that the evaporator coil was leaking and that the preferred repair, due to the age of the unit, was to replace the entire air handler at an estimated cost that I felt was way too high, based on my research into what I could purchase the unit for,(I assume a dealer could purchase it for less)and what I knew would be a reasonable install time. After contacting several contractors who had excellent Yelp ratings, I found that Brian's estimate for the identical service was by far the most cost effective, so I asked him to check it out and report back. Brian sent me an email with a picture showing that the outside unit(condenser) was leaking as well. He suggested that both units be replaced. Expecting the worst, I was happily surprised to get the quote to replace the whole system, that was less than I had been quoted to replace the single component. The repairs were completed promptly.
