From the start it was a mess up.. moved in sink was filled with piping debris or something. It and they didn't clean that up before my . Refrigerator leaving puddles on the kitchen floor. AC was not cooling my apartment. does not work in the primary bedroom and it's a one bedroom apartment. The window literally had stained condensation as to where you can't see out the window. I asked and the repair team put cardboard in my window for five days to come back to install a window that flew out on a stormy rainy night that soaked my bed my floor and the next morning to get cardboard reinstalled. To follow up with that they water off for hours out of the day at least three times a month every other month another problem my water pressure wasn't working as to where I wasn't receiving hot water for at least two months or more wasn't really keeping track. Mind you when I put in these request to fix my apartment. I make sure I put do not enter my unit without my presence, but they do anyways and then say sorry afterwards but maintain entering. One maintenance guy entered while knocking didn't even give me a chance to get up to respond like just because I have a my apartment. Doesn't mean use it. The wall walls are hollow as I can hear my neighbor talk on the phone from my restroom. Not to mention I have multiple noise complaints even received when when I wasn't even home. Everyone working at Briargrove At Vail apartments is courteous and resolves issues that arise immediately. One evening my AC broke and I had immediately a maintenance employee come to install a machine until the AC was working properly. It's ridiculous to call it a quiet community and raise the rent too and call it condominium living but I've experienced fighting , loud people all night and during the day n my days off. I have lived here since 2016 and seen the ups and downs. The office staff changes over the years have been a challenge and a blessing at times. I live here because of the size of apartments for single people and I don't want to live somewhere with families living in apartments. People do move in with large dogs and kids but they tend to not stay long thankfully. It's a small property and the units are small, for single people. It's a perfect location for single professionals who want easy access to the best that DFW has to offer while staying away from the crime of the big city. The demographics have changed dramatically since Covid however. The changes are lowering the quality and standard of living. These apartments are not for people with large families and lots of guests. They are one a two bedrooms. Nor are they for people who want to run an auto shop in the Parking lot or out of their garage. Parking lot is very small with very limited parking space. The new people come to the realisation soon enough and inevitably end up leaving for something more fitting to their needs thankfully. read more

Just to update on my past review nothing has changed and the Staff has actually gotten worse. There's no spots multiple occasions I've had to walk from another complex parking in their guest parking in the rain with a handful of groceries never will I ever ever recommend anyone ever to come to these apartments ever not only are they overpriced and cheaply built horrible customer service I regret signing my lease. read more

The mew people have absolutely NO customer service, and ONLY wants your money. I NEVER get spoke to when i come in the office. In fact they just look at you and stare. At least with the old staff, they would give you something to your door. I asked how come i didn't get anything to my door, and the guy said "well, don't ask me!! I just got here!!!" They are extremely rude!!! They have closed ALL amenities, and we can't get maintenance to come fix anything. They want to make sure they get paid , but we can't get anything fixed. Some people can't work because of this mess, but they told us that thats not their problem. You can't pay, you can't stay That's fine, but we should be able to get things fixed. They are just going downhill,where are the ones that were here when i first moved in. They actually cared about the people. Already paying this high rent for these OVERPRICED apartments, and they have absolutely NO customer service. read more

I've lived here for almost two years and I love it. Never had any issues and the office ladies are amazing. Tara and Shelby have been very welcoming and hospitable. Super sweet and have taken the time to know their residents. I always recommend this apt complex to my friends lol UPDATE! Adding a fifth star to this review... Tara continues to impress and amaze me with her friendly attitude and make sure her residents are comfortable! !!UPDATE: 11/5/18..3RD REVIEW. MUST READ:DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! My roommate and I turned in our 60 day notice as required by 8/31. We have lived in these apartments for 2 years and have decided this was no longer a safe or peaceful place to live. We have made several noise complaints to the courtesy officer as well as mgmt and received nothing but excuses in returned. We have asked for simple repairs to be completed and have been given mediocre assistance. I must say with all of the issues we endured the moved out may have taken the cake for the most disappointing part of living her. I confirmed w/ mgmt that we would physically move our belongings out on 10/19. They all confirmed that would be ok and I asked could we be prorated for the remaining days and the lead manager said no since we signed the lease until 10/31. After speaking with him a second time he confirmed I could set a time to with him to do a finale walk through of the unit and turn in the keys in on 10/25 AT 3:30PM. We did a walk through where he advised he would charge a carpet cleaning fee as this is apart of everyone's lease agreement requirement at move out and a paint touch up fee of maybe $10 for a small scratch on the wall. (Now before walking through I have taken detailed photos of the unit for my own record and I will upload for all to see we did our best to return the unit as we received it 2 years before. We even replaced the drip pans on the stove because we were advised if they are rusted we would be charged.I found that to be ridiculous as most places I've resided before automatically replaces the drip pans, cleans the carpet for the next tenant and paint the walls to new) The male head manager could not tell me the price expectations during the walk through saying he would need to get a carpet bid. Now we only had 2 rooms with carpet and those were the bedrooms where 60% was covered in bedroom furniture. We also had our carpets cleaned earlier in the year by the assisted manager Tara as one of the perks of renewing your lease so I was well aware that the carpet wasn't damaged of any sort as did the manager the day of the walk through. Today I received my last bill with the breakdown of move out cost and I immediately contacted the apartment mgmt. I was advised it was suggested that my carpet be replaced as it had been worn down. Now we never had any pets nor children in the home. We always took our shoes off before walking around in the house and never ate in the rooms so these carpets were close to clean as you could get. Again we cleaned the carpet not even 10 mths before. When I seen my expected deposit refund of $295 had a deducted $180 charge for replacement carpet I damn near fell out my seat because he said it was ONLY to be cleaned per of previous talk. 2 years w/o any stains, rips or burn marks but I'm charged because I walked on the carpet too much. Other charges were another water and gas bill even though those charges are usually included in the rent.I was informed it's a backdated charge. WHO KNEW. I was also charged a move out fee, electric disconnected fee and $3 a day electric charge back fee even though I disconnected my electric on the 19th and turned off all lights. I am beyond upset at this and I couldn't express to you'll more that if you are smart. DON'T MOVE HERE. YOU WILL FOREVER REGRET THIS DECISION. The irony is I seen many reviews saying they will rip you off at move out but I didn't think it would happen to me. IF YOU LIKE; Weed smells, noisy neighbors, gun shots at random times, no parking spaces and occasional break in's then this the place for you! IF not then go somewhere else. I've given this place the benefit of the doubt and every time I've paid the price. If you don't believe me do your research on Management support properties and see what others have said. They're a money hungry organization that don't care about their tenants. I've seen more move outs,over 4 leasing agents and 2 head managers since living here. I was an amazing tenant for a year. Paid a $390 deposit and got $64 back when I left the apartment in amazing condition. Charged me for paint and carpet cleaning. Absolute joke. Won't ever recommend. I admit, there was a couple of small stains on the carpet. However they were small. I paid maids to come clean the apartment. Was charged over $325 dollars for carpet and paint. Beware renters you will not get your deposit back. I regret cleaning the place to begin with to be honest. read more

OK, I don't usually leave reviews but I have to respond. I saw an extremely negative and unfair review for Christina at Briargrove at Vail. And I think I know where it came from. Because I was in the office when this happened. It's all related to the new package concierge system, which incidentally I was coming to leave a POSITIVE review about. There was one VERY loud mouth and very SCARY angry lady that came in to complaining about the packaging system Not working for her (which is nothing that the leasing office can do anything about). Like this lady was really scary, I tried to talk to her, but she just wanted to be mad and she just wanted to yell at somebody. My last apartment complex set up something similar and they CHARGED us $45 just to REGISTER to get notifications when we have new packages. And if you left them there more than a week they will charge you MORE money to remove the package and send it back. i'm pretty sure I was in the office at the time that this reviewer claims that Christina was so horrible. That poor woman had at least seven people in the office trying to deal with various problems and she did everything she could. They have no control over what Amazon does with packages. And when you come in so hot and so angry and unreasonable and just yelling over all the five or six people that are ahead of you, you are just asking for a confrontation. And for the record, nobody thought that you were in the right. Everybody else thought this woman looked crazy. You're not going to get a positive response from anyone when you behave like a entitled B**ch. I have been a tenant of Briargrove at Vail for over two years. I have presented these people with some unique problems when it comes to tenant / leasing office relations. It had not always been easy, but I can tell you 100% that No one in that office is racist,. They are wonderfully kind and compassionate, not even remotely racist and really are just trying to do a good job. Take whatever you read from scary angry people taking your anger out on the Internet with a BIG grain of salt. This is a great place to live. And Christina in particular is incredibly caring, kind and Doesn't deserve that kind of bad mouthing.. I would also like to add that it's preposterous (Meaning totally ridiculous) to say that anything is "missing" when the maintenance men come in. This community is amazing. the night before Thanksgiving I had an emergency plumbing issue where both Kitchen sinks were clogged and would not drain, I was distraught, there goes my cooking plans and my holiday Dinner. I called the Emergency number to leave a Voicemail for assistance on the next work day which was 2 days away since the next day was Thanksgiving. Well to my surprise Maintenance picked up the phone, listened to my issue, arrived withing 10 minutes accessed the problem and resolved it. Thank you Rino for arriving after hours with a smile and addressing my emergency so that my Holiday was not ruined. I have lived in three different apartment within three years at Briargrove at Vail, and I want to give a huge shout out to Tera Fera. She is the one and only reason I have stayed with this apartment as long as I have. Not only has she continued to create a memorable experience for my roomate and I, but she goes above and beyond to meet our expectations. Every time I walk into the front office I am greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. She is the best leasing agent (assistant manager) I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and if she ever leaves this specific apartment complex then I will be following her to where ever she goes. I am surprised they have not promoted her to the manager position at Briargrove at Vail because most of the residents believe she is the best person suited for that job. If you walk in and ask for Tera and they respond with "She doesn't work for this apartment complex anymore," turn around and leave. No body else could ever take her place. read more

Terrible. Lived here for 2 years and it was AWEFUL. Myself and several neighbors were harassed and threatened by an older resident with a gun and management did nothing. In fact, we were given lease violations and another neighbor was given a notice to vacate. If you are a female looking for a place to live, please choose somewhere else. It's for your own safety. After we filed a complaint and police report against the man who threatened to shoot us, me and a neighbor kept receiving dead flowers on our door step. It was extremely uncomfortable and none of us felt safe. Outside of all that, there is definitely gang and drug activity happening very often. Very early one morning I was woken up by the SWAT team beating down the door across from me. Not sure if Chris, the "manager" is still there but he made all of this worse and did nothing to better the community or help people feel safe. He hid in his corner office with the door closed. He shuts the blinds but you can still see that he is in there. This place is a joke. If you value your safety, happiness of life, please live somewhere else. If you decide to live there then you asked for it! read more

Lived here for a year and really liked it. Great staff who takes care of the place. Pool is great, large, clean, and the water is nice and crisp even on the hottest summer days. Definitely not a party scene as it seems most people there are lifelong renters, not a bunch of young kids bouncing from complex to complex. Chick below me said someone broke into her place and stole some stuff.... but she was a very questionable person. Not sure I trust her story. read more

We came in to inquire about renting a unit and Christina was a extremely personable and huge help!! She was so nice and went out of her way to give us tons of extra information. I usually dread visits to apartment leasing centers, but this was by far the best experience I've had! From just the little time i was there it was easy to see how committed they are to their tenants. As far as the apartments themselves they have great floor plans with a lot of square footage, especially for the price! It was a quiet neighborhood and the buildings were so cute! Hello, I'm the resident of apartment # 2108 and for various days I could not sit in my living room watching TV or even sleep due to the abusive noise that the person occupying apartment # 2208 is causing on my apartment. I already notified last night to the security officer of the complex and the ocupant of # 2208 did not answer the knock on the door when he came to verify. Today the officer knocked on the door again and they did not answer him either. I know that today in the afternoon the manager was notified about this situation and apparently nothing was done by him because the situation has not been solved. This is abusive and unsustainable. As I understand this is enough reason to fine the individual and even to make him leave the property, since the person has been notified previously and keep the same behavior pattern without any concideration. I've lived here for about 2 years and I love it! It's a small and quite apartment complex which is hard to find and my utility bills are cheap! My neighbors are really nice and have been here for a long time. I am a single woman and feel comfortable living here. The office staff is professional and they seem to care about their residents and community. I will not moving out until I buy a house. read more
