Restaurant was really nice and very open. I suggest outdoor seating options as well; especially on the nice days. Luckily the day we went, it was not crowded or busy. The waiter we had was really nice and offered alot of great recommendations. The staff was really nice as well. Food: - Hash Benedict: my friend said his food was delicious. Simple as that - Catch of the Day Benedict: My friend chose for her fish to be fried and she said it was a great pick. It came with potatoes as well which were really good. - American Breakfast: I just wanted a simple breakfast, so it was good for a regular bacon, egg and cheese lol - Beignets: DE-F*****G-LICIOUS! We were literally about to prefer two orders of it, but didn't want to be greedy. - Deviled on the Bayou: let me tell you something, these were some of the best deviled eggs I've ever had and idk who is frying up the shrimp?!?!? But those things!!!!!! Seasoned and fried to PERFECTION! *Chefs kiss* - Mimosas: I suggest getting a trio for your mimosas and picking you flavor in stead of the bottomless. We ran through that bottomless in 4 glasses lol I would definitely be hitting this spot back up when I'm the area again.

I love, love, love this place! This is a go to brunch spot for me. The food is amazing. Everything I have ever ordered has always been good. The servers are always nice and answer all your questions. The music is good as well. I usually order fish and grits and it never disappoints. The fish is fresh and tasty and well as the grits. The servings are very generous so you get your money's worth. They also have the best mimosas and they even have mimosa flights! The only downside is the place gets very busy and you cannot make reservations but every time I have waited it honestly didn't take that long because people would leave before their name was called. This place is definitely a must try Orlando brunch spot classic!

Parking can be tricky, but we were immediately greeted and seated upon arrival. Very friendly staff (thank you, Kourtney) but strange how asking to sit by the window was a no-go. Also, there was a note about special hours this summer but I didn't get a photo. My nephew loved his French Toast and, I have to admit, it was delicious. It didn't need butter or syrup. You know food is good when you don't have to add anything to it to make it better. My American Breakfast was excellent, and I went for the smoked sausage - which had a nice little kick to it. Scrumptious biscuit with jelly, too. Our meal (with juices) came to about $40, which is alot for breakfast but everything is going up these days. This huge restaurant is very clean and I could definitely be tempted to return to try their lunch items.

Great price huge portions and excellent service . We were very pleased with the breakfast spot . Only thing it was a little loud because of the high ceilings. But otherwise music was refreshing and relaxing . Wish they had a a wider coffee selection but the coffee was still fresh and good .

Upon entering there was an overpowering smell of cleaner. There is a sign stating that they are short staffed and to be patient. It took a few minutes to be seated as they decided where to seat us. The restaurant was wide open with only three tables filled. The server didn't know the menu and couldn't answer any of our questions. I had to ask her to ask what was in the bayou topping since I do not eat pork or beef. We ordered ordered two margaritas to start. The server came back to inform us there was no tequila or rum. My friend ordered a mango mimosa. We ordered deviled by the bayou- deviled eggs with Tasso, fried shrimp and a sauce. My friend enjoyed those. She also had shrimp and grits. I had the bayou Benedict. It had good flavor and was filling.

This place is consistently amazing. They don't do call ahead seating or reservations so prepare for a wait, but always worth it! For the mimosa trip to the banana foster French toast and everything i between.

Inside was very nice! Super clean and well kept. Wait time was maybe 5 minutes. Our server was very attentive at first but then disappeared until we finished eating. We had: deviled eggs- I personally didn't try this but my friend liked it French toast- it was very thin and skimp. Expected thicker bread but it tasted ok -Shrimp and grits: Very good! Huge portion and lots of flavor French 75 drink: Just tasted like Prosecco This is an ok place but it's overpriced. I expected a different experience for the price. This reminded me of Keke's breakfast cafe and should have prices within the same range

I love the food! Everything was so nicely presented, server was great at recommending food. Definitely a go to for brunch or lunch. Plus the different flavor mimosas.. excellent! It's always busy.. so if you don't want to wait or try to beat the crowds go early between 11-12:30. However they are very good at making accommodations for the waits. So I highly suggest Brick & Spoon!

My first time experience was OK. They were out of a few things nothing major, but it was a little odd that they would be out of those minor items. The service was very attentive. There was no one inside when we arrived so it was very quiet. The food was OK. It did not wow me. I had the shrimp and grits. The sauce was really good and the shrimp were tasty, but could get a little salty after a while. The beignets were hot and fresh. Unsure if I would return again, but at least they do have a great menu options to try. The atmosphere of the restaurant was somewhat inviting.

I swear I didn't even know about this place and I pass by here all the time. So my bad. Came for a late lunch with a friend who introduced me to this amazing place. We came here on a weekday so it wasn't that busy, I was told that this place gets packed. So I guess we're lucky. The ambiance is really nice. Staff that assisted us was amazing as well. The food is definitely top notched. I love every single dish that we ordered. You taste good quality here. You know they cook their food with quality in mind. I have to come back and try their other dishes. I had their Shrimp & Tasso Mac and Cheese and man it was soooooooo good. My friend even got a customized good due to her dietary restrictions. Definitely come and see this place for yourself. We're coming back again.

I found the meal at Brick & Spoon to be fine. Nothing extremely noteworthy or memorable and I'm not sure that I'd jump at the chance to return given the myriad of options in the area. But there were some things that stood out! The servers are really friendly and definitely hold their own in such a busy establishment. If you arrive anytime after 10:30, prepare to wait it out. Once seated though, you'll definitely be treated to stellar service. I would rate the wait staff a 5/5 for holding it down so well. Drink options are definitely crushing it too. Great selections! I did a mimosa trio and it was my favorite part of meal actually. If I could do a pre-game brunch, I'd come for just the drinks. I tried passion fruit, pineapple, and mango mimosas. Loved the alcohol to juice ratio. It certainly favored the alcohol. I was feeling it-haha. The juices were all really tasty and made for a creative spin on the standard. I definitely encourage you to pick three for $12. Regarding the food... it could have been better but wasn't bad. I was hyped for the bananas foster french toast but they were out of bananas so I decided to scrap the sweet plan altogether in favor of the shrimp and grits. I think that the grits had great flavor and the shrimp were cooked beautifully. BUT, the poached egg was cooked so poorly. The yoke was cooked to the point of being hard boiled. It didn't create the effect of yoke pouring out the way I would have liked. The rest of the table more or less carry the same opinion. Our table ordered a good variety of food and everything was fine. The French toast order was good but the syrup being served in plastic solo condiment cups seemed a bit bizarre. Having it served warm from an actual boat would have been a nicer touch. Maybe it's a covid protocol though, I don't know. I'll likely try some other nearby options before returning here. The atmosphere is a bit nonexistent and parking really is a hassle.

Interestingly located on a busy intersection, parking is very minimal as it's attached to an apartment complex. Best place to park is further down the road in the parking garage which is free. We went on a Saturday, it seemed quite busy but we were seated straight away. It did take a while for our orders to be taken but our server Trinity was very friendly and great, she was attentive and made sure things were ok even before our food arrived. We both got hash browns with our dish, because who doesn't love hash browns. It was nice and crispy, although it was more like tater tots than hash browns. The bayou Benedict, we had a choice between an English muffin and a biscuit, and we had the biscuit option. The sauce on the Benedict was delicious, it had a little bit of a kick to it. I would have liked my eggs to be a little more runny as it did seem it was cooked right through. We wanted to try something different to our usual brunch options and opted for The killer creole omelette. As for the taste, it was ok and nothing that really screamed out to me. My favourite was definitely the bayou Benedict and a must try if you go here.

This is a nice brunch spot! I have been three times within a year. The service and food here is always good. Outside seating is available. Drinks: Mimosas Trio: Mango, Strawberry, Pineapple. I like all of them. Apps: Deviled on the Bayou, Biscuits for 2, and Breakfast Fries Entree: Killer creole omelet with home fries, I highly recommend this dish. It was really good. Pros: Awesome Service, Good food, and good drinks. Con: Parking is in a parking garage around the corner from the restaurant.

The bar specializes in cocktails, and their Halloween cocktail menu was long and creative. That said, since I wasn't really in the mood for a cocktail, I ordered a glass of white wine instead. The appetizers, however, aren't as inventive. We ordered curly fries, Brussels sprouts, and the smash burger. The latter was a bit of a disappointment: the patties were thin, overcooked, and almost tasted like a frozen burger. The other two were good, with the sprouts being my favorite. I plan to go back for one of their cocktails with those long descriptions; maybe I'll just pick the one with the longest description and see how it goes.

It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There is something about saying the name out loud that feels almost mischievous. Even before stepping inside, it conjures images of old Hollywood glamour, forbidden romance, and the kind of longing that filled classic films. The sort of place where people met not because they had to, but because they couldn't stay away. The space itself more than lives up to the promise of its name. Death in the Afternoon is one of the most visually interesting places Orlando has to offer. It feels intimate, mysterious, and wonderfully removed from the ordinary. Good conversation, a memorable meal, and an atmosphere that feels like it belongs to another time. Death in the Afternoon is not just a restaurant. It's the kind of place that stays on your mind long after you've left. Make sure your stay is not over 2 hours tho ..

We ordered the dirty martini and mai tai, which were delicious. The chorizo burger was juicy, the fries were crispy, escargot was buttery and garlicky, and the squash seemed to have hot honey on it, which gave it a slight kick. I've never had a bad meal here and will continue to come back
