We'd had takeout from here & really liked it. Decided to try in person on a not too busy early weeknight. And it was good. The space is clean & bright. Decent sized. Not too big. There is a bar area & looked to be outdoor seating. Minimal & tasteful decorations (collection of hats hang on the wall). Open for dinner only during the week & lunch & dinner on weekends. Service was very good. Everyone seemed to pitch in to get us items we needed, serve our food & clear up. My husband & I shared the chicken empanadas (3 good sized). I had a mango margarita with the spicy salt on the rim. We split steak fajitas - had to take some home because we had the empanadas & we were just too full. I said I liked flour tortillas & my husband said corn. The server said - no problem, I'll bring both. The fajitas had side of rice, beans, pico, sour cream & guacamole. Kept passing by and finally stopped in, glad we did. The service was on point, server was very attentive checking on drink levels and taking plates away. The food was above and beyond expectations, Birria Tacos had a great presentation and amazing flavor. Also a great portion for the price. Yesterday was my second visit to Brick Cantina and everything was just as amazing as I had remembered. The chips and salsa are delicious (the salsa is very different from most other salsas, but it is very good), and the queso was also great. Our entrees were both delicious and filling. I had the classic chimichanga, and I would order this again for sure. The service was also quick, especially considering that the place was pretty busy. Overall, definitely recommend. read more

Tried this place for the first time to see how it is. The first impression is they like their music! Music should be background noise it shouldn't hit you in the face when you open the door. We did ask our server to turn it down which she did which made it a little more bearable but still tough to have a conversation. We were seated right away and our server was at the table quickly and took our drink orders, two strawberry frozen margaritas. Menu was varied and has plenty of items to choose from to please anyone's palate. The margaritas arrived and were excellent. Nice touch with the half strawberry on top of the margaritas. We ordered the beef empanadas and the classic chimichanga with beef. The empanadas were huge and filled to the brim with ground beef. The beef was very nicely seasoned with a lot of flavor. The dish came with an habernero mayonnaise which had a good kick to it. They were well fried and crispy. The serving was so large that there was plenty to take home for another meal. The chimichanga was served on an oval dish with beans, rice, and salad. The chimichanga was covered in plenty of cheese and was a good sized portion. Again the beef was nicely seasoned and fully packed the tortilla. There wasn't anything on the plate that didn't have great flavor and proved to be a very good meal. The seating is a combination of booths and tables and is very comfortable. The inside of the restaurant is bright and welcoming (in spite of the music). Our server was very attentive and made sure that we always had everything we needed. This restaurant has always been packed when we have passed it so clearly people have taken to it. So go early to be sure to get seated without a wait. We'll definitely be going back to try other dishes on the menu. read more

We are super excited to have a new restaurant in our home town! We have waited a bit to come try the food as there has definitely been a bit of a rush to the new place in town. The interior has been updated and is clean and stylish without and goofy colors or clutter. News Flash!!!! They have GREAT queso!!! It's hard to find this far north. Also good chips and salsa. The hubby has had the tres enchiladas at both our visits and really enjoyed them. I've had tacos both visits and had mixed results, the first time the chicken was moist and we'll seasoned but the second time the chicken was dry and not very seasoned so some things may vary as they get all the cooks on the same page. They have a few beers and make a tasty strawberry margarita. We will definitely be back to try more dishes and support the new restaurant. read more

We recently tried Brick Cantina in Hebron, and overall it was okay. The interior is beautiful--warm, inviting, and really well done. I especially loved the chandeliers; the whole atmosphere had a great vibe and felt like a place you'd want to hang out. Unfortunately, the service was a little lackluster. My drink came without the rim I asked for, and they gave my 5-year-old a soda instead of the pineapple juice I ordered. Small things, but they add up. As for the food, it was a bit hit or miss. My chimichanga was nice and crispy on the outside, but the inside lacked flavor--it just didn't really taste like much but dry chicken. Although I understand the clientele they serve..can be tricky. My husband said his burrito was good, but not the best. I think they could definitely turn things up a notch in the flavor department. On the bright side, the chips were excellent--super crunchy and perfectly salted--and the guacamole was delicious! All in all, not a bad experience, but there's room for improvement, especially when it comes to service and flavor. read more

Very busy but we were lucky to be seated right away on a Friday night. This place is close to being great, but one major issue is that 3/4 of everything on our plates was way over-seasoned. I had the skirt steak, and normally this would get its flavor from a nice marinade, however all I could taste was salt. The salsa had great flavor however suffered from being too salty as well. The Mahi tacos got a good review at my table as having plenty of flavor. Overall we will be back but I'm avoiding the skirt steak and trying something else next time. If they can balance the seasoning, to normally already very high restaurant levels of sodium, it could become a regular because that is really the only negative--but it's one that is hard to overlook. read more

Excellent new Mexican restaurant! We stopped in for a late dinner on Cinco de Mayo. A large party was leaving as we arrived. The staff had the tables cleaned quickly and seated us. The atmosphere was lively and fun. Eric was our server and took very good care of us. He was attentive and friendly. The menu has many items on it that we would love to try. For starters, we had the Mexican street corn. It's served on the cob which is charred to perfection without tasting burnt. My husband isn't normally a fan of street corn but he raved about this. It was delicious but be aware that it does have some heat if you are sensitive to spicy food. I ordered the pork carnitas tacos with refried beans and rice. Eric informed me that I had the option to mix & match the 3 tacos. The pork was good on its own but the addition of the accompanying sauce put the tacos over the top. The refried beans tasted homemade. My husband ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was served with refried beans, rice and a salad. The chimichanga was stuffed full of a creamy chicken filling that was absolutely delicious! I'm not sure what kind of dressing was on his salad but I could not stop eating it. It was so tasty! After reading reviews about their margaritas, we decided to give the pineapple margarita a try. It was strong! I asked for more pineapple juice to dilute it. You'll definitely get your moneys worth if you order a margarita! The staff here works hard. Tables were cleared quickly. The food was served in a timely manner. They were able to accommodate multiple large groups inside. We are looking forward to enjoying their outdoor patio on nice days in the future. Went there during the week and shortly after opening time. So being the only ones there the service was attentive as expected. Our waitress was quite knowledgeable regarding the menu as we had to ask a few questions regarding certain ingredients. However, the music was a bit loud but did add to the ambience. I ordered the enchiladas while the wife ordered the taco bowl. Both entrees were way too bland to have a true Mexican flavor. I can say this because I've been to Mexico a number of times and have had the 'real stuff.' This seems to be the norm. I really hope they make it as a good Mexican eatery would be a welcome addition to this area. read more

The little details on the wall and the color they chose was intriguing. We sat at the bar, which I absolutely love and we had great service. One of the best restaurant additions Hebron has been fortunate to have located here. Retired to South Carolina after residing in this wonderful town for 40 years. Briefly, ambiance and decor were excellent. Margarita's sensational! Food? Amongst the best Mexican food items I've sampled and enjoyed. I've traveled the world to include several visits to Mexico. Excellent food and great service. I had the Birria Tacos and the Street Corn. Both were excellent. My wife had the Texana Fajitas and said they were among the best she has had. The Margaritas were also very good and the chips and salsa to start were quite good. Even though we were full we had to try the Churros and they did not disappoint. Pretty sure they gave me the wrong dish but it was still good. My dish was supposed to come with tortillas which I did not get. I asked the server for them and she told me it didn't come with them but it says it right on the menu it does. Little over priced for the taste in my opinion. There's only a few times where I've experienced bad Mexican food. This time was definitely number 1 worst for me in recent history. I'll try to be generous, I really liked the vibe and interior of the restaurant. Everyone was kind, this place looks like it could be a great addition to Hebron. Granted, I ordered to go. My order was simple. I ordered a Burrito with Chicken, Rice, Lettuce, Pico. Of that, it was just extreme dry chicken wrapped up in a tortilla. They did not even include the additions (that I paid for). I also ordered a side of White Rice, and it was so dry that I had to bite down on the grains. I ended up throwing it out. I also ordered a soda too, but never got it. I've lived in Hebron a majority of my life and for some reason every restaurant that goes in to this building almost always goes out of business within a year. I really hope this place stays around, it could be nice if it gets better! Also, the order was $30. For the amount of food you get, you could get almost double that at Chipotle for not even $20. read more
