As I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly and ordered the number 5 platter, which included three pieces of whiting and a piece of catfish. I wanted some coleslaw on the side, but they didn't have it. The staff mentioned they sold potato salad instead. They even gave me a sample, which was just okay--personally, I thought it needed more potatoes since I could mainly taste the dressing. My order arrived within about ten or fifteen minutes. The fish was just so-so. The whiting was a bit bland, and although it looked crispy, it felt slimy when I bit into it. The catfish was good and didn't have that slimy texture, but it lacked a real punch of flavor. The fries were decent enough. The customer service was friendly, and the staff made me feel welcome.

Otherwise it tasted very plain and bland and watery which was disappointing since I was excited for it and for $40. The dessert option brown butter cookie just tasted very bland as well seemed like the cookie packs I buy at the grocery store and make at home.
