Festive Mexican music plays as you walk into this bright, colorful restaurant with cute decor. Plenty of seating with booth and table options. Service at the counter was great. Our meals were delicious, food was fresh and reasonably priced. My bowl with rice and black beans was so yummy!! They added plenty of mouth-watering carnitas. But it was much too filling with all the added veggies and sauces for me to finish in one sitting! My friend really enjoyed her chimichanga, which was humongous! Wonderful first time visit!!

New Quick Mexican Addition to Glastonbury Center. Very friendly staff. Clean establishment. Same concept as Chipotle and Moe's. You pick out your protein or veggies and then choose whether you want Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Burrito bowls etc. Select your other ingredient options and they put it all together for you. I went with the Ground Beef for my burrito and then filled it up with Rice, black beans, lettuce, pico, cheese and sour cream. You can get your hot sauce on the side or added right onto your burrito before they roll it up. I also ordered 1 crispy grilled chicken taco & 1 soft shell taco....they were both over flowing. So grab a fork so you can eat the stuff that drops out. Everything was extremely fresh and my concoction was absolutely tasty. I can't wait to go back again.

So I came here for lunch during the lunch rush I was able to immediately be served the prices I like especially for a lunch because they're not too bad I spent around $20 with tax and I got the enchiladas which comes with three enchiladas rice beans I had guacamole, sour cream And I asked for lettuce and cilantro in mine. My enchiladas are mixed one was pork and the other two were chicken. The pork was nice and tender flavor was substantial. However, the chicken was grilled chopped, but crunchy I thought my first bite was a fluke, but as I kept eating, I kept realizing that the chicken is crunchy, so I'm not sure if maybe it sat out just a little too long And it had hardened or if they cook it that well done. I also got the sweet plantains which were good and they give you a lot. I do, however want to return to try the chicken wings which I noticed on the menu. They seem cooked they way I like them so next review coming soon

    Enchiladas!

The enchiladas with rica and beans were delicious! The carnitas were moist and perfectly cooked!

I decided on the phoritto. You choose a meat and filling for it so you can customize it. I kept mine pretty simple but they had the viet toppings on one section and the Mexican in one too. My burrito was huge! And it tasted just like a bowl of pho which was tasty! My friends also enjoyed what they got - one got a bowl of pho. Another got a quesadilla. And we got nachos to share.

I always thought the concept was pretty cool and I headed in fully intending on ordering the Phorito but I saw Al pastor tacos and the plethora of fresh toppings so I had to try those. My daughter got the original pho on the children's menu and we shared the nachos with queso. I also got a lime margarita and my daughter got a mango boba tea. I'm not kidding when I say the total came to 50$. I was so shocked since I'm used to spending at least 75 when the two of us go out. I tried my daughter's pho and the flavor was definitely there. The tacos were amazing. So so good. The set up is like chipotle. The toppings I chose were sour cream, hot sauce, fresh jalapeños, cilantro, radish, and red onion. There's also a fire chilli sauce that I got a side of over by the plasticware and napkins. Elevated the tacos even more. Chefs kiss! I will be back to try the infamous Phorrito and the only reason I knocked a star was because the rice and beans were not that great as a side. Everything else was fabulous!

Still a 20 minute wait. They take your phone number & call when table is ready. And the wait was fine. Cotton Hollow perserve is across the street, so a short walk over there and back worked out a perfect way to pass the time. We were seated in the bar area - at a regular table. It was decorated in a fun way - fish artwork, a tv, natural wood. We didn't quite understand the surf board that hung over the bar though? My daughter & I started with a drink - I had mango pina colada, she had a drink with gin, cranberries. Both good. Food - exceeded my expectations. I had the enchilada duo. Chicken & beef. I usually like beef better, however I think the chicken was in a mole sauce - so delicious. Husband had 2 brisket tacos that he loved. Daughter had the rice bowl (with chicken). Decided to split the churros for dessert. Came with: ice cream, Carmel & chocolate sauce. Yes - we will be back. I saw a patio outside. Warmer weather is coming

Salsa was mild. My order included the saucedo taco, pulpo taco and watermelon marg. Saucedo taco = brisket and avocado w/ onions. This was AMAZING and I will add to any future order. Pulpo taco = octopus with sauce + veg. This was OK, tasted very charred and was chewy. I was excited to try octopus, but it might not be my thing. The watermelon marg was very mild in flavor and I personally would prefer it to have been sweeter. Overall, great experience, wonderful waitstaff who split our bill perfectly, some of the food was not exactly my taste, and the wait was long. I will have to come back and find my favorite foods. The decor was very cozy and you could sit indoors or outdoors.

Upscale tacos done right…read more Came here because we are always on the hunt for good tacos. The location is right off the highway on the back of the xerox building. There's signs for parking but they are somewhat small so you need to keep an eye out for their logo. You're greeted with a very fancy food truck with servers and plenty of outdoor seating. There's some outdoor loungers and and some lawn games. The view was great, overlooking the river and with plenty of greenery. Our server was very friendly and chatty. Missus and her chatted and had good banter. Our server only had another couple servers helping, which got overwhelming for their team by the time we left. We got aqua fresca for drinks, the chips and salsa for the table, 4 tacos to share, and the street corn brule. Everything came out around the same time, which took them a little while but they got everything out. The street corn was fresh, used local corn and had the right blend of mole, queso fresco, and spices to make it a cheesy, spicy, corn forward dip. The chips and salsa for the table was also prepped fresh. The fine dice on the salsa let one get a good scoop of all the elements into one bite. The vinegar forward salsa was well balanced and seasoned. The chips were recently fried, and lightly salted. The tacos were also done well. Each taco were about 5 to 6 bites, all the ingredients were treated with care and layered to give the best bite. The fish taco and their take on a Birra taco were the highlights. Fish was crispy, paired with a spicy aoli and fresh corn. The Birra taco was not dunked nor came with au jus but it did have very tender smoked beef with avocado cream and plenty of onions. The wild mushroom had a lot of umami and complexity. It was a stellar non-meat taco but was overshadowed by its heavy hitter cousins. The carne asada taco was treated well, grilled properly and paired with just enough toppings to keep things interesting. The meat needed to be cubed though, was a very messy bite because of the beef lardons. The price was high, but the quality of the food justified the price. If I spend 8 bucks for a single taco, I want the bite to be balanced and flavorful, the quantity to be reasonable, and the end product to show that some thought and care was put into the dish presented. This is not a taco truck on the side of the road offering three buck tacos with fresh stewed beef and red onion (my kingdom for that type of taco truck in ct!). This is Americanized, curated, fancy-fied taco creations that taste great, look good, and fill you up. Couple that with a view of the water and a friendly but overworked staff and you get a very solid dining experience. It's one of the best tacos I've had in the state and a contender for one of the best tacos I've had in general. It's not cheap, but you absolutely fell like you get what you pay for. Get the chips and salsa, try some tacos and enjoy the locale!

But…read morewhen we saw a reel on IG about how they have a new chef, menu, and that things have greatly improved we decided to give it a shot. #disappointed The location itself is nice. Decent view of the river...on cheap, wobbly outdoor chairs and tables. There was only one server for the entire area the night we were there. He did as good as he could but service was very slow. The food is overpriced - $9 tacos with no sides ? My carne plate was all fries with a small piece of chewy meat. The margarita was fine. Water tasted bad so I ordered a beer on draft. This is basically a glorified food truck and bar area. They have a little outdoor couch area which might be nice to hang out with friends to grab drinks but save your appetite for somewhere else like sayulita or no mames. Pro tip: if you decide to give this place a shot take the driveway to left for parking closer to the entrance.
