I don't know why I have never been! I have passed by driving and walking right in the center of WEHA and never stopped in! Glad I did! Mediterranean flare ! Some flatbread with some nice choices of apps and main entrees. They actually have a great Happy Hour that goes from Tuesday through Saturdays 4pm to close! I order a delish Gluten free Flatbread! The crust was unbelievable! So good! If you love mushrooms then you'll love Wild Mushroom! My friend ordered Branzino which she enjoyed too! No dessert since we had to rush out but there's always next time! I'll need to go back!

The ambience is magical and inviting and I met with a friend at the bar for their everyday "Social hour". This Mediterranean Bistro had such a delicious menu at great prices. So I had to of course try a variety of dishes. We stared with the Korean cauliflower which was my favorite. It was battered extra crispy and perfectly tossed in a ginger soy glaze. I also tried the Korean sticky bbq ribs, the chicken satay and the tuna tartare tacos. I was extremely happy with them all. Scott our bartender was phenomenal filling the drinks. I enjoyed a Spanish wine, the Secret Garden and the espresso martini. The dessert was even fabulous! A peach parfait made with local fresh peaches from Roger's Orchard. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!

I was tempted to write a bad review just so this restaurant doesn't become too crowded, but this restaurant deserves all the praise. The interior was small and a little loud, but they're moving a few doors down soon to a bigger restaurant which am I very excited to see! Even though it was almost completely full, they made accommodations to get us a seat as walk-ins. Our waitress was fantastic and attentive despite serving the entire dining room. She made some excellent recommendations of dishes to try and was very enthusiastic. For food, we tried the chefs bread which came with delish dips (my favorite being the delicious yogurt and eggplant). They even had gluten free bread that was fresh baked. It is without a doubt the best gluten free bread I've had at a restaurant. We also tried the salmon tagliatelle which was creamy, fresh, and delicious and the short rib gnocchi which was homey and comforting. Only complaint, maybe a little too much parsley. Even though we were stuffed, we had to try dessert since everything else was so fantastic. We tried the iced pistachio crème brûlée and the Caramel cheesecake. The cheesecake wasn't your traditional New York slice you'd expect, but it was light and doused in delicious caramel. The iced pistachio crème brûlée was out of this world, I didn't think I'd finish it but ended up basically licking the plate. Everything was amazing. Take the drive off of Blue Back Square and try this place out next time you visit West Hartford, you won't regret it!

I love how small and cozy this place is--it has the warm, authentic feeling of enjoying a homemade meal. Everything tasted delicious, but the bread was definitely my favorite. It was perfectly crispy, and I loved the toasted sesame seeds on top. The prices are very reasonable, and another big plus is that it's not right in the center of West Hartford, so parking is much easier. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic, delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back!

NOT PASHA! wow. The complimentary bread and butter, which they serve you a mountain, is soft and fresh. Almost like a foccacia mixed with a fluffy pita. Sigara borek was phyllo rolled with feta inside. Any cheese lover would enjoy. The flakiness was perfect. Gozleme patato could have used more filling. I didn't really taste for feel the cheese. It did have peppers in it and boosted the flavor! Mixed chicken platter had A LOT of flavor and it was a great way to showcase each individual chicken dish. My favorite was the juicy kebab chunks. Shoutout to the doner as well! It was very flavorful and juicy. For dessert we ordered the knafeh. Cheesy, buttery, sweet, and crunchy. Very comforting and worth the 20 minute wait

I liked all of them! My husband got the lamb shank dinner and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We started with some little zucchini pancakes, which were a hit. The decor inside the restaurant is very nicely decorated and was pleasantly surprising. The outside is kind of unassuming, but when you go in, it's a really nice little date spot. The only thing I didn't care for was the baklava because I'm not a big pistachio fan. I have been to some Greek festivals which I know are different than Turkish food and they don't have pistachios in theirs so that's the only reason why I didn't care for it. There is a picture that I took of the Rose tres leches cake that looked beautiful and I think I will try that next time. I did not try that this trip. Definitely go try them if you are in the area!

That said, the hummus was sensational. I absolutely need it again right now. The beet dip was also good, which says a lot coming from someone who does not usually like beets. They had many gluten-free options, and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu.
