Every time I go there, I bring a group of friends and we order almost everything because everything is so good! My favourite thing to do is order a bunch of appetizers to share. There is no wrong choice. The mussels, the oysters (both raw and cooked), beet salad, calamari, CLASSIC French onion soup, lamb spidduci...all so good. Their steaks...done to our liking. Cocktails...SO YUMMY. Dining room is beautiful since they did the reno. There's this beautiful little area that feels like a small lounge for seating...my favourite place to sit. Always an amazing time visiting Dina and Dave at Brick n Fire. They strive to always give us the best service and food. They listen to their customers and I, as a foodie, appreciate it so much when they check in not only on the food, but the wait staff that's assisting us that meal as well. read more

Sweet and Firey! What a great restaurant in Bradford. I missed the nights with live music (hopefully, they bring it back). Food was delicious, if I could have seconds, I would. Found this spot in Bradford as I was driving through town looking for a burger joint. Decided to choose the Kobe Beef Burger. It was very juicy and tender. The bun was a bit stale but the sauce and toppings paired well. The burger was cooked medium rare which I liked especially if it's going to be quality beef like Kobe, only issue was I felt the interior of the burger was cold. The fries were extra crispy and actual seemed to be freshly cut potatoes. Check this spot out if you're ever in Bradford. read more

I LOVE this place! Barb and I have been here pretty much every weekend since discovering it a couple of months ago. Here's why: 1. The food is fantastic! Every dish we've tried has been excellent. The pasta is fresh, the sauces are homemade (and delicious), the proteins are cooked perfectly and the portions are huge. We've tried Fried Calamari, Mussels, Scallops, Arancini and Brussels Sprouts for apps. We've also tried Chicken Parm, Veal Parm, Baked Eggplant, Baked Ravioli for mains. I'm going to eat my way through the fairly large menu before too long and I'm guessing I won't find a single dish that isn't great. 2. The ambience is nice: lots of brick accent walls, a cool bar, wine storage all over the place and a recently opened wine bar and lounge. It's not white table cloth fancy, it's family friendly casual which is perfect for this type of restaurant. 3. The staff and service are great. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The Chef/Owner David is usually available for a quick chat during service which adds an authentic family touch to the evening. 4. Given the quality of the food the pricing is very modest. This is most likely the best quality to price ratio restaurant in the northern GTA, it's hard to imagine getting anything better for less. Nicely done! read more

This softly lit, intimate restaurant might just be the classiest, most upscale dining you get in Bradford. They get 3.5 stars. The complimentary bread was served with bruschetta topping, which was novel. The crab cakes were good. They were pretty much pure crab & not cut with other ingredients. Veal, Shrimps & Scallops was pretty tasty. It had a good variety of proteins & a nice sauce. The mashed potato was coarse & so had characer. The Kobe beef burger was huge. The patty was pretty good & it was juicy & tasty. It didn't have a strong grilled flavour, but then we asked for it to be done medium. The fries were heartily fried but some fries were unevenly cooked because they stuck together in the fryer. Furthermore, at the same time some were underdone yet most were a touch too brown on the outside. I suspect the was oil too hot & they only did a single fry, resulting in an overcooked exterior together with a sometimes undercooked interior. read more

Another birthday down and celebrated at one of my favourite restaurants.... Brick N Fire. I come every year for the past 3 years and am never disappointed. The Oysters Rockefeller are amazing!! The salmon as well! My son got the lobster Mac and cheese.... Wow!! The service is great and the ambience is amazing, I believe on Saturday nights they have live musicians. My wife and I wanted to try Brick n Fire for a while but weren't able to get out with our 8 month old. During the COVID-19 lockdown, we decided to try some takeout on our anniversary. We got the Vodka Penne family meal for 2 and it was delicious. The calamari was nice and crispy, with a delicious dip. The Ceaser salad was not shy on the bacon or the dressing. The Vodka Penne was very tasty and had plenty of pancetta. Even the garlic bread was tasty, considering we got around to eating it 30 mins after I picked it up. read more

Really, I'd offer 4/5 stars if I could. From the grilled calamari to the Caesar salad, and inviting atmosphere of a higher priced Toronto haute off Bloor or on Roncy. Things are right here. Great wine list. Even the bread needed a second and unneeded second helping. The ms. ordered the shrimp pasta, I ordered the seafood pasta, completely different sauces and flavour profiles. Our eyes were certainly open to items we're gonna order next time. With a great bottle of wine, an app, salad and main each, we were sitting around $200. We had an excellent dinner at this new gem in Bradford! The Caesar salad was perfect, lots of garlic in the dressing. I recall we may have had garlic bread with cheese which was so very good (but it appears it is no longer on their menu). For our mains, I had the cannelloni and my hubby had his favourite, veal parmigiana. We didn't have any room for dessert. Service was very good. Our servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Reservations are highly recommended: we were seated at a high-top table in the bar near to the door which was fine. I will definitely return. read more

My wife and I tried Brick N Fire for the first time last night with delivery and we were left very surprised by the food and taste. The aroma of the food smells like the it was cooked on a camp fire to the perfect degree which complements the name of the restaurant and culture in the food that they're trying to portray. Had a very nice time! Tried this gem on a very busy Friday night. First off the decor feels just right. Very welcoming. Made me feel like I wanted to stay longer. And it's bigger than it looks. The atmosphere was quite loud, but not bothersome. It just felt like everyone was having a good time. My only complaint would be that the service was a bit slow. But like I said, it was super busy. Totally understandable. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good beer, wine and cocktail selection. Pints were nice and cold. Shared the calamari and meat lovers pizza. Both were perfect. So damn tasty. The dip for calamari was sooo good. Was told that the spicy brussel sprouts are amazing too. Will definitely try those next time. And there will be a next time. Great food but don't order their pizzas - their other dishes and wine are amazing!!!! Our service was fantastic. My husband and I like to sit side by side inside of across from each other, and the other lady server (not ours) came by and the first thing she said in a rude tone of voice was that he would have to move his seat if more people were to come. This restaurant came w positive recommendations so we went -four of us. Only one enjoyed their meal. The pizza wasn't cooked and it was smothered with bbq sauce. The waitress made us feel that it was our fault for not complaining but we had already complained about so many things we just wanted to move on. For example, I am allergic to garlic and the waitress brought me the salmon appetizer w garlic pickles and no cream cheese. She tried to convince me that I should have known that pickles have garlic and hid the fact that there was no cream cheese. Sundry other issues w the waitress. We were happy to leave. read more

This is an amazing place to hold an intimate dinner event. We recently held a wedding reception dinner in the back room. The tables were set when we arrived and our special requests were honoured. The food, service, décor, and ambience were excellent. We designed a beautiful menu together including Hor d'oeuvres, pizza, salad and bread followed by a choice of two main dishes, and a delectable dessert. We started the evening with drinks and a beautiful champagne toast to the bride and groom. It was a smooth, easy, and happy evening.
