When…read morebestie drives, I navigate and even though I knew where we were going, I was completely shocked to see a Pizza Inn open and operating (and doing very well judging by the number of cars in the lot) so it only seemed natural to have lunch here. Honestly, we were killing time til a burger joint opened at noon but since I am a pizza lover it was like a calling from the Lord that we dine here today. Both bestie & I have fond childhood memories of dining here with family who are no longer with us. While the pizza & service were both stellar, the best part of today was sharing memories (and making new ones) with my bestie. The best pizza I have had in a very long time was the spinach & cheese and, I don't even like spinach, so that should tell you something. I also had a sausage, peppers & onion pizza and a slice of cheese pizza along with some potato wedges & garlic bread. The bread was cold and unappetizing but the wedges were good. I was so impressed with the pizza buffet selection that I told bestie we'll have to put this in our lunch rotation for future visits. The service was impeccable and attentive but not overbearing. Our drinks were refilled without asking & our buffet plates picked up quickly. Everyone we ran across spoke to us, wished us a good weekend or simply asked us how we were doing. Y'all, you just get that kind of service anywhere anymore and for the price of $13, we were treated as if we were at a high end steakhouse.
