The buffet is always great. Exactly what I'd expect for a pizza buffet. It's always clean and well kept and the service is great.

It's busy all the time. Pizza is good but, fresh mushrooms would make a big difference. There is enough business to justify fresh over canned. Wait times can be ridiculous sometimes, over an hour. Suggestion, add another oven to speed up the quantity per hour. The staff could smile once oin a while. Overall, it was good food and service. read more

Let me begin by saying the server was great, but management was not. As I was eating, I saw something black on my pizza. I thought it was something from the oven so I brushed it off and continued to eat. I kept looking at the black thing and as I looked closer, I saw wings. It was a fly that had been COOKED onto the pizza!!!!!! My friend went to the kitchen to make the manager aware of the situation. The experience was horrible, disappointing and disrespectful. The server did not want to add an extra table to our party of 18 because she " did not want to clean more." Sat us down at 8:40 and said the buffet ends at 9 and to hurry. No forks were ready and we had to wait. The drinks were brought out after half of the party was done with the first plate. The server only brought a few straws when asked for more she only gave 2. Then when approached and asked for 3 more straws she gave the person a whole stack of straws and rudely answered. She said she "couldn't handle us." Out loud where we could hear it and then she just switched places with the server Alexis. She didn't even give Alexis, our drink order. Alexis was a great! All you can eat! Hot, not as good as some. But better than others. Variety that if I ordering a single pizza I may not spend the extra for different toppings. Crushed ice. And now the desserts pizza. I just wish they allowed to go pizza to be chosen from the buffet for take out. Cause after I walk by the salad and pasta. Fill up on soup, breadsticks, and pizza. It's a struggle to try all the different dessert pizza's. I'd happily pay for a couldn't fit it in now but will want more later box with a couple slices from what was already made on sitting on the buffet. Heck call the box leftovers. Charge $5 for 6 slices. $10 for 13 (bakers dozen). And you are still making good money from that customer. read more

This place has been here for a long time now. I used to come here in the early 90's. Had some friends that used to work here back then. This was the hang out spot. It was great coming back and seeing it packed with people. I even saw some classmates on this night. Get the Taco Pizza. I love it. read more

We ordered a pizza and wings.they said to be there at 6:44 the pizza and wings will be ready by that time.we got there at 6:40 they told us that the pizza was in the oven and the wings were not placed in yet.They told us to wait another 10-15 minutes and they will take it out to us.We waited half an hour for the food and nobody came so I went inside to check on the pizza and the manager said he was going to check and he didn't find the wings nor the pizza and they wanted us to wait another 20 minutes.So we decided to cancel the order and they said if would take 7-10 days to return the money and they acted so disrespectful. When I walked in it was nice the bar looked good So I got some pizza from the bar and it wasn't the best but it was still good. I also got a bar salad and it was probably the best salad bar I have ever gone to before. It took an hour for the desert chocolate chip pizza to be served, but they said they're running behind on orders but it was still a great place and while I was waiting, I also grabbed a bit of spaghetti and it was OK. read more

We order pizza just about every week and because they are close to where we live, we have ordered several times from this location but every time they have gotten something wrong. the quality is getting worse and tonoght it was just plain awful. The food was burnt, missing ingredients and then when we called to complain the manager was dismissive. they offered in-store credit for the food when we asked for a refund , but after the attitude from the manager on top of disgusting food, we are just done. There are better places in town and we will happily support them instead. read more

Ordered pickup. Got there at the time they told me it would be ready, and no one could find my order. So, finally they told me it would be another 10-15 mins. I pulled up to a waiting parking space and waited. Finally, a guy brought our food out. When I got it home, I was very disappointed. Garlic bread to go with spaghetti and lasagna, which we had to pay extra for, was 2 tiny pieces for each entree. I could have bought a whole loaf of French breach for what we paid for the 4 tiny pieces. Then our food was not very hot. The pizza looked like it had been sitting there for quite some time. I was amazed there was one open, not only open but busy! You have to pick thru the cold pizza to find warm. Why not take back the cold pizza one time, add a little cheese and warm it up? My wife put in order for pizza at 5:15. We got there at 5:45 when it was suppose to be ready. Waiting in the drive thru for 15 mins before we got to the window. My wife paid and we sat at the window five minutes before being told to pull up. Before being pulled up I asked the guy how much longer since it already been so long. He completely disregarded my question. So I went inside waited in line and after 10 more mins finally received after asking the person at the register about it. The service is terrible and not having pizza ready an hour after it was ordered is a disgrace. read more

This is the worst customer service I've ever seen. I phoned in an order on a busy Saturday night. They told me to show up in 15 minutes. I gave them 25 minutes. I entered the building and despite the fact that I was standing near the register, the young lady never said hello or offered an explanation on why I waited 15 minutes for anyone to even recognize my presence. When I finally said my name is Mark and I placed a to go order, the response was, " can't you see were busy." I said I understand that but I've been standing here for more than 15 minutes. I also mentioned that I did not want cold food. She grunted, went back to the kitchen, and brought me back my sack of food. When she came out with my bag of food, I opened the bag to check the order. She again grunted at me, "it's all there!" When I told her again I wanted to check the order, she screamed at me in front of her entire restaurant, "get out of my restaurant!" When I explained to her that six of us usually come in on the weekend she told me she didn't care. If she truly does own this restaurant, she is poorest business woman I've ever met. When I searched for Pizza Inn on Yelp to check-in I couldn't find it. The location that did pop up wasn't anywhere near where I was and the pictures of the place did not look like where I was. Come to find out later this one was the correct one. The location was not showing correctly on the map because it did not have the full corrected address (i fixed that). The pictures didn't make sense because the place had been remodeled (i added new pictures). Ok so about the food and stuff. For a Sunday pizza dinner buffet starting at 5pm for $8.99 I though it was ok. Nothing spectacular but it did have a wide range of pizza's, pasta's, dessert pizza, soup, and a salad bar. The salad bar was my favorite. The cinnamon dessert pizza was good too. I liked the layout. My husband told me that the place used to be divided into themed sections before. I like the layout and design now. Seems clean and modern. The bars to the "jail" themed section where left behind and are now the entry way to the Mickey Toy House. We will be back I'm sure. It is one of the few pizza places I like in Goldsboro. read more

The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service EVER!!!!! I will not ever go back to this location again. We placed an order and asked for extra ranch and didn't receive it. When I asked for the extra ranch that was ordered they made a huge deal out of it and stated we didn't pay for it. I placed an order weeks ago and PAID for egg for 3 salads and received NO eggs. Was never compensated for my eggs nor did I make a big deal over it that day. For one I'm not coming back to the restaurant for eggs. And you only receive a half an egg when you pay for egg on your salad. The male manager working stated I should've called back that day concerning my egg instead of making the situation right like most people in customer service would have done. He was extremely rude and stated you will pay for the ranch if you want it. And the black haired female working the take out counter was extremely rude with him. They both need a little more customer service training. Will not be back and do not recommend. read more

I am a Goldsboro native and this place is central to our culture. Pizza Inn is so delicious and has so much character. The buffet is always the way to go - one of the best deals in town. The salad bar is great and the pizza is good too. But it is worth it on it's own if you just get the chocolate chip pizzert!! I can't wait to go there again. read more

Sigh. since the other pizza inn was ratted out for roaches, the husband and family like to come to this Pizza Inn. Not as nasty as the one on ash, but the service is worse. No refills, mentally incompetent staff and not the best selection of buffet. But, if all you want is to snarf down lukewarm chicken fajita pizza and cold tatertots and have 1 diet coke with no refills, then this is the place for you. read more

Ordered a family meal which consisted of two pizzas, 2 appetizers, and a dessert. Finally received our pizzas and were told they were "looking for our appetizers" we were halfway finished eating when the pizza rolls arrived and totally finished when the breadsticks arrived. We were a bit disappointed that only one of their 3 locations has online ordering. The website doesn't tell you that!
