We also ordered a half dozen of the a la minute homemade mini bacon maple doughnuts, and honestly, they were amazing. Warm, fresh, sweet, salty, and completely addictive. I can say with absolute confidence that if I find myself back at Train Cars Coffee again, I'm ordering the full dozen. Between the friendly staff, the bold coffee, the train car setting, and those incredible little doughnuts, this was one of those memorable stops that turns a simple drive into a really enjoyable adventure. The Hallets Peak Bowl is always my go-to. Fresh, healthy, and delish. The parking is not ideal; they have small parking lots on both sides of the restaurant. I've also read that their lots are full, locals recommend parking along High Drive, just past the county road sign and then walking 2-3 min to the restaurant. Enjoy!
