Neat little cafe in Nederland CO. We stopped in for breakfast on our way through and were pleasantly surprised. Restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic!!

Perfect omelette MTO. Side salad ( at breakfast. Love it) hash browns with melted , sourdough toast.

No complaints. Perfect omelette, perfect sourdough, crispy hash browns and huge delicious breakfast burrito in green chili sauce. I'm thrilled for the side salad at breakfast time. Outstanding service too. Mountain Peak Cafe is killing it.

The food was so good! I liked the quirky atmosphere and the music was awesome. Couldn't finish our food there was much. Loved it.

Service was unfrirndly and the hamburgers were hockey pucks. French fries were okay. Wouldn't recommend it.

Jatin (Josh) was an amazing wait staff. Very nice to our dog. The mushroom toast was gourmet quality.

Great food and service. They went above and beyond to serve us. We came in right before closing and they stayed open just to serve us.

I found the staff friendly with good service. My pancakes were cold, and the syrup was not good quality. I will not be dining there again.

I just got back from being away, and I have a letter in the mail for a parking ticket for 49.99 for parking literally in what seemed to be the restaurant's parking lot. The images from the cameras show my car, so what the heck!? I tried to find a phone number for the restaurant online, but I can't find anything listed on Google or Yelp, and their website doesn't load at all for me. They literally should ask where people park when you order to avoid experiencing such nonsense. The 2nd area is with their fries. Maybe most people don't care what fries are fried in, but I do. They list duck fat fries but they do not use that solely. They also use rice bran oil which doesn't make my stomach happy at all. Just a heads up. Like I said earlier, the 1/2 chicken we delicious.

I ordered the Korean Zoodle Bowl with a tofu add-on. It was a bit sweet, but the mild spice helped to counteract this. The large variety of vegetables in it satisfied my closet vegan. The tofu had a very pleasing crispyness when it first arrived. I told the SO, "Quick, try the tofu!", when she got her bowl. The SO ordered the Summit Stir Fry with a tofu add-on. She enjoyed it, but thought it was a little on the sweet side. I thought it was a lot on sweet side. I made my bowl not seem so sweet after all, which I took as a plus. Overall the food taste and quality was good and the service was friendly. I will base my rating on that. I do have one comment not having to do with the food or service. Stop reading here if you don't care. Pure Kitchen has a 4% "Competitive Wage Compensation" charge. I was surprised to see this charge on the bill and only later saw that it was in the fine print on the menu, with an "opt out" option (what brave soul is going to "opt out" and risk spittle in their food). Maybe it's my fault for not looking at the fine print on menu, but it's a food menu, not a used car contract. Just my personal opinion, but I believe if a restaurant wants to have "fair wages" for their employees, it is their responsibility, not mine. Raise food prices, lower profit margin, whatever, but please don't add another tax. It just doesn't seem right. I have never once complained about high food prices in any of my reviews because it is my choice to go out to eat. I could eat at home if I want to keep within my monthly budget. I have avoided going to other restaurants based solely on this type of "fair wages" charge and will likely not come here again for the same reason (no matter how badly I want to try their Lamb Burger). I am really VERY SORRY for getting on my soapbox. I don't typically rant, but there are certain things that I believe should be addressed. I'm probably not the only person who feels this way.

Love the idea of this place, with it's fresh and whole ingredient focused menu, but considering the…read moreportions you get, I just feel it's a bit too pricey. Would have liked to give 3.5 stars if I could though!

They accommodated us walking in and some special dietary needs easily. The wine was very tasty and the food was good, but not phenomenal, especially given the price. For this price, Monarch Chophouse is equivalent and an experience that is in a different category (in the best way). It's a very quiet, intimate space, and I think they played the entirety of Sinatra's playlist! Good if you're there, but for a better local steakhouse for this price, I'd go with Monarch.

When we arrived without reservations they were still able to accommodate us and sit is in a booth. The restaurant wasn't full at all though, I don't know if I would expect to call for reservations. The place was clean and romantically lit. The servers were excellent. We ordered shrimp cocktail appetizer, a New York and a Fillet. Both paired with Lemon pepper Asparagus and baked potatoes. After ordering they brought us some rolls, this is where we were taken back. These were nothing but store bought Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, and they weren't even freshly bought. We passed on them, the shrimp cocktail was amazing so we have them a pass on the rolls. When the actual meal was served we found both the asparagus and baked potatoes were under cooked. Those this isn't difficult items to cook, we are the potatoes and passed on the asparagus. The steaks were less then par and very dry. They bring a side of gravy with them but this alone wasn't enough to make up for the tough dry steak. I know I am from Wyoming and will challenge anyone to compete with our states top steak houses, but I think I wouldn't compare this to the worst of them. It's about like eating warm jerky, even then I think there is more moisture in jerky. Never again. The service is the only reason they received 3 stars the meal is less than desirable, the price is definitely not reflective of anything but the price.

Our waitress was amazing - friendly, made great recommendations, and talked us through the menu, answer all of our questions thoroughly. We ordered the streak tartare app, clearly a staff favorite and they put a unique twist on the standard dish with mushrooms and a divine Dijon mustard sauce. The bread was baked to perfection - crunchy but soft all at the same time. My friend got the salmon, cooked to medium and I got the Jamaican jerk chicken which was not very spicy and contained a lot of flavor. The mango chutney and green mojo combo was complex and paired well with the chicken. My friend devoured she salmon so one can only assume it was delicious! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a date night or dinner with a friend and you're in the Broomfield area, Hickory and Ash is the spot!
