Gayle and I had a solid lunch experience here last Saturday. We were driving down to the Bay Area from Genoa (via Highway 88) and found Downtown Jackson to be a convenient place for Lunch. If you're here to hop onto Wi-Fi and stare at your phone for an hour, this is not your place as their bandwidth is barely enough to handle their own business needs. Past that: - Service was friendly, prompt, and otherwise stellar. - Our high table seats were comfortable and the dining room atmosphere was welcoming. - My Blue Burger (with Fries) and Gayle's Jalapeno Burger (with Onion Rings) were both excellent. - There was lots to choose from beer wise, but at the same time giving Gayle a fairly impressive wine selection. I was happy with my Porter, as was Gayle with her Chardonnay. - Burgers (with Side) were priced at around $16, while my beer and Gayle's wine were $7 and $8 respectively. We both thought that our meal was a good value. - There was easy street parking during our time here.

Great place to stop when you come back from busy day on the mountain in Kirkwood Steak sandwich and couple of burgers (jalapeño, western) were delicious to all of us with fresh French fries. Regular and sweet potato, ...And we also had live music on Friday evening! What's not to like...

    Kids menu is totally awesome!

Brickhouse brew is a cute little brewery in old town Jackson. We order the jalapeño burger and the argonaut steak sandwich, both medium-rare, with pesto fries and sweet potato fries. Both meals were absolutely amazing, we shared half of each sandwich/burger. Couldn't tell you which was better as they were both amazing in flavor, presentation, and cooked perfectly!! Only suggestion is to have grilled onions on the steak sandwich, the onions that fell off the burger we added to the sandwich and next time we come here we will request that addition. Amazing service, our server Skye was very attentive and checked on us enough but not too much. She was just as amazing as the food.

Good food. Friendly service. A little loud but fun for a small group. Lots of beer choices and fast service.

Hello Yelpers!!! I'm so excited to give my thoughts about Brickhouse Brews. I asked Sky, our server, what she would recommend being this was our first time at Brickhouse Brews, I ordered the French dip sandwich, and I was not disappointed at all. I can't wait to try their entire menu. Hubby had the jalenpeno burger, which he devoured. Sky, our server can't say enough about her service she went above & beyond. I saw a gentleman come out of the kitchen and waved him over, asked if he was the cook, he was the owner, wow, I had to shake his hand. We will definitely be back. Live music friendly atmosphere you won't be disappointed!! Check out Brickhouse Brew in Jackson Ca

Sitting right on Main Street is this spacious beer bar with a separate wine room. We navigated through the extensive wine menu and even tried a few thanks to our amazing waitress. Jessica was simply amazing. We really enjoyed the wines they had to offer for $8 per glass. We landed on a couple of highly regarded menu items thanks to Yelpers like YOU! Wedge Salad: 8 - Delicious crispy bacon and crisp iceberg lettuce was a healthy portion. Nice diced tomatoes but no blue cheese crumbles or fresh ground black pepper. Definitely a good value French Dip with Pesto Fries: 10 - Words can't describe how tender, juicy and delicious this roast beef is from their local butcher. This is a plain French dip with bread, meat, and au jus yet it is the best French dip I've had in 25 years (that place is now closed). This is the best French dip in the world...the bread was also delicious as it was tender and toasted to a crunch. The au jus was also very good. Worth a drive from anywhere in California if you ask me! Drytown Red on Red, Noceto Rosso, and Leoni Humbug Hill Red we're all amazing wines. Saluti Great spot to pop in for a drink OR a meal. They have the friendliest staff as we were thanked by three different waitresses that didn't even serve us as we left the bar. Jessica was amazing as was the food and drink. We will certainly be back!!!!

Delicious!! Sad to see a sign in the window the restaurant is for sale. Hopefully the new owner keeps the delicious menu! Please bring back the basic bitch beer! Had the jalepeno bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. The bun was perfect, the hand patty was juicy and fries were hot. Yummy!

Brick house brews was very chill place to go and hang out . Good food and they had lots of I3eers to try . The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable of the beers and food. Sorry I can't think of her name.

Cheeseburger with homemade Bun very good!

Horrible service. Horrible food. Paid $16.95 for this pathetic BLT. 10/10 do not recommend going here.

We were in the cute little downtown of Jackson and decided to try Brickhouse Brews for lunch. What a fabulous place. Great decor and TVs for all the games. They have a bar and a separate side room which would be perfect for parties. Our server was Jessica and she made us feel very welcome. She refilled drinks when she noticed they were getting low, had nice conversation, didn't rush us at all and she also suggested different things on the menu when we asked her opinion. The bartender was Brian "Skip." My husband had been in about 2 weeks earlier for the very first time and he brought his brother and their cousin. Brian remembered them and asked where "the guys" were. Impressive that he remembered customers after only meeting them once. (Of course, it probably helped that they are all loud, funny, fun and love their beer). So the food... We started with their loaded tater tots. Tater tots, cheese, bacon, and green onions. The tater tots were cooked perfectly. Very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would definitely order these again. I had the steak sandwich with a side of some of the best onion rings I've ever had. The steak was a very tender ribeye and cooked exactly how I asked for it. What I also liked was that it was the steak and a bit of mayonnaise on a roll and that's it. No lettuce, no tomatoes or onions to take away from the taste. Just steak and mayonnaise. Perfect. My husband had the western burger with a side salad and he loved it. He said the salad tasted "very fresh." Our daughter had the jalapeño burger with sweet potato fries. She said the burger was excellent. The fries came out looking a little over done and when Jessica put the dish in front of her, she told my daughter to try them and she would have the kitchen redo them if necessary. She said she had told the cooks they looked a little too done to serve, but the cooks insisted they were fine. My daughter tried one and said that despite how they looked, they were very good. But, we definitely appreciated that Jessica wanted to make sure we were happy with the meal. This was a really nice place with very personable and friendly staff and great food. We will definitely be back.

The beer menu! Wish I could have found it online.

French dip burger was delectable! Great tender patty, nailed the medium rare cook, crisp slender fries. Awesome burger! Wedge salad with prime rib was super tasty, great flavor, lots of meat! Pesto fries were loaded with pesto but not over powering. Fried pickles were done to perfection. Service started a bit slow but finished strong.

Stopped by here for lunch while checking out Jackson on the way back from Tahoe. The beef here is the star. I ordered the french dip sandwich and the meat was really good. Also got it with some yummy onion rings. Decent size for the price, thought it was worth it and overall satisfying. Two of my friends got burgers and they both really enjoyed it. One friend got the chicken sandwich but I wouldn't recommend that it's oddly small compared to all the other food. The pesto fries are also really great if you like pesto!

Seriously, the DJ and the rap battle were not what I was expecting. I'll also give them props for being the only place that serves food past 10 pm in Sutter Creek, even if it is three different fried offerings of a combination of them together. For the most part, the layout is great, the bartenders cheerful, the patrons an interesting mix of regulars and out-of-towners. A Pleasant Surprise with a Small-Town Feel…read more This one caught me off guard--in a good way. I was out with my family practicing for my daughter's driving test at the DMV up the street. We pulled up Yelp to find a good lunch spot, saw the solid reviews, and decided to give it a try. When we walked in, the atmosphere had that small-town vibe--simple, welcoming, and comfortable. The food was very good. The service wasn't polished like a Michelin star restaurant, but it didn't need to be. It was authentic and heartfelt, and sometimes that matters more. You could tell the staff cared about what they were doing. The place was busy, especially for the time of day we went, which tells you something. People come here on purpose. That says a lot. We were seated quickly, our order was taken without any issues, and the food came out in a reasonable time. When it hit the table, the portions were generous and satisfying. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too busy enjoying the moment. If you go, post your photos--I'm sure the business would appreciate it. If you've followed my reviews, you know I don't give out 4 stars often, and 5 stars are rare. This place earned that extra star because of how it made me feel--between the food, the atmosphere, and the service, it just worked. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely coming back for another meal.

I couldn't get enough of the croutons, dressing, and garbanzo beans with the fresh, crisp salad! When you're here, make sure to walk around inside to admire the decor and read their family's rich history, including photos with the Pope St. John Paul II. I was stranded, hungry, gut gnawing itself in some Dantean ring of small-town purgatory, when out of the fluorescent chaos of a Raley's supermarket, a Gen Z angel with Wi-Fi wings took pity on me. Her phone pulsed like the North Star and she pointed me down to salvation: Teresa's Place. By God, I arrived. The sun was bleeding out across the horizon, Main Street slipping into shadow, and there it was: a glowing sign like a neon Eucharist. Parking lot across the street. The doorway pulled me in like a vacuum cleaner from 1952. Inside: dim red tones, white lights surgical and holy, Brooklyn noir under an Amador County sky. Louie's Restaurant vibes--but Sollozzo ain't getting shot here, sweetheart. No: this is Jackson. This is love. The service? Think grandma with a cigarette in one hand and a stopwatch in the other--warm but brisk, like they've been running this joint since Prohibition and ain't about to let you slow them down. The Chianti comes in buckets. Jaegermeister on the dessert menu--yes, they're serious, yes, you're taking the shot, yes, Jesus himself approves. Now, the food. THE FOOD. It comes in cathedral portions, a medieval banquet dropped in your lap. My chicken parm? Christ Almighty, it was Everest under a landslide of marinara, parsley fresh as a spring fling, pasta al dente enough to play a banjo tune. Before that came minestrone, a salad with Thousand Island like some glorious church picnic of yesteryear, croutons snapping like gunfire. Bread and butter so fresh you want to slap someone. Then dessert: WALNUT PIE. Who makes walnut pie? Teresa's does. Whipped cream piled like the Alps. I licked the plate like a lunatic. Let's be clear: this is no bland Chili's with soul vacuum décor. This is a time machine, a love letter, a belly hug from the Old Country. Cozy, romantic, small-town crickets outside and Sinatra crooning in your bloodstream. And the kicker? The wall of dollars. A shrine of American greenbacks pinned with a tiny Italian flag, Grandma Teresa watching from the photo frame like a saint with marinara rosary beads. Each bill matched, money funneled to five local charities. You eat, you drink, you laugh, you sin, and you walk away knowing your gluttony just saved the world--or at least a piece of Amador County. Five out of five, no hesitation, no irony. Teresa's Place is the real deal, a mad holy Italian fever dream in a town you didn't even know existed. If North Beach has the flash, Jackson has the soul.
