    I hired Tucked & Tidy for a $1,500 deep clean followed by biweekly maintenance service. For that…read moreprice, I expected clear communication, attention to detail, and a professionally run experience. Unfortunately, the service fell short on all counts. The "deep clean" took place over two days, but totaled only about 8 hours. While the team was polite, several key areas were missed -- including dusty ceiling fans and other surfaces that should be standard at this level of service. I sent photos and was told the missed areas would be handled during the first maintenance visit. That visit was even more disappointing. Much of the home was left untouched, including the floors. I was told this was due to a "custom" plan -- yet there was no written contract, no scope outlined by email or document, and no communication confirming that entire areas of the house would be excluded. The only conversation was a brief call over a month prior. During the deep clean walkthrough, one of the team members even told me the floors would be part of the regular service, which added to the confusion. When I raised my concerns, the owner responded defensively and focused more on justifying their side than making things right. The tone shifted quickly once I pushed back, and I was left feeling unheard and undervalued as a client. Some things the owner might consider improving on: * Avoid shifting blame to the client when issues are raised -- especially after a $1,500 service. A missed spot is a missed spot, whether or not it was caught in a walkthrough. * Don't rely on a quick phone call as the sole definition of scope -- especially when no written agreement or clear follow-up is provided. Assumptions and verbal notes are not a client communication strategy. * Reach out proactively after a major service to check in. Leaving it to the client to initiate the first real feedback conversation creates a one-sided experience. And don't rely on staff rating requests to provide insight on client's service happiness, this is not indicative of the client's overall experience. Professionalism isn't just about what's cleaned -- it's about how a business listens, responds, and takes ownership. There's room for you to grow here.

Took to the Google machine to search for a cleaning service and came across Tucked & Tidy. Lauren was beyond responsive to my initial inquiry and came by to do a consultation. We schedule the cleaning and the rest as they say was history. But I will tell you about it! Lauren's team came through right on time as they said. I left my house in their hands as I headed out for work. Lauren came across something and immediately reached out to me to make me aware; I very much appreciated that. Long story short, I returned to an immaculate house. What I paid was well worth it, no doubt about it. I will definitely be booking Lauren and her team in the future for home cleanings.

    Not to sound braggadocios as I'm far from arrogant, but my lifelong career has honed by skills…read moreferreting out fraud, duplicities, and recognizing instances where often great deals are far from great. I looked up Best Maids Ever and was struck by the nature of the raves and Jack the owner's cogent responses. Rich in varied details of differing facets of their services, they reflected Jack's keen listening/reading sensitivities and laser responses. His precision is sniper accurate. I had been in crisis mode with my messy apartment for far too long and no time to clean it. I dreaded hiring anyone. After spending seven hours one recent Sunday cutting up cardboard boxes alone, I drew the line. I needed help. Hiring Best Maids was one of the best decisions of my life. Period. First, Jack the owner is true as water on a placid morning's pond. Whatever concern or variable or worry you throw his way in negotiations, they're reduced to brief ripples as he adjusts terms, massages in solutions and then returns to his essence like a mirrored pond returns to its placid clarity after a pebble shatters it briefly: he is as honest, centered and focused as an arrow. A jaw droppingly true fellow in a notorious hustler trade. Both our trades are. Not in thirty odd years have I had such a sterling experience negotiating. He even dispatched a third person on Day 1 - not to jack up the price but to ensure it got done in two days. So when I asked afterwards whether he needed to adjust the price out of fairness to him (being that we agreed on only two people), he demurred - he added the third person of a trio family to ensure the job got done. Not one red cent more. And now for Anthony, Vivian and their youthful daughter Emily. My heart ached for their present hard working profession but it soared as I spent time lending a hand where I could. Open hearted souls who put in buckets of sweat equity. I could deluge you with the many, many positive details of their work and results but for me the brief tears of Vivian just before leaving said it all. She - as did we all - realized something special happened here over these two grueling days: they changed this stranger's life for the better. Amongst the torrent of incredible observations: as the ending of each day approached, they all kicked it into a HIGHER GEAR - not to catch up but to drive home perfection. Pride in their work.They went beyond and voluntarily. Jack and I are honest - I wasn't comfortable with their doing more than we'd agreed to - except when Anthony figured out why I was routinely tumbling out of bed due to a cracked bed-frame. He found a quick way to remedy it and that gave me my first great night's sleep I have had in eons. Effervescent Emily, in her mid-Twenties, took a number of colored pottery pots and put various plants I had that were in plastic original containers into the new pots and even put a moon valley pilea in a terracotta pot shaped like a wood nymph's face that I had buried somewhere. Art in everyday life. Quite Gaga - she was a fan. Many examples revealed themselves after they left leaving artistic flourishes. And Vivian cleaned my bathroom with savage grace and persistent diligence! She was stunned. We all were ! Nonstop excellence. I'll never forget these two days of wonder in brutal February! Best Maids? Better title: Bettering Cleaners for surely they bettered my life and so many others.

    I hired this company for a deep cleaning service, speaking both with Mary and Jon in which they…read morestated they would complete a deep cleaning prior to my moving in: I chose this company based on the conversation we had where I explained that I needed a deep thorough cleaning, the details Mary stated would include window seals, windows, floor boards, refrigerator, oven, stove, dusting, wash and vacuum carpets. I expressed that I needed this done prior to moving in as I explained how I was scheduled for surgery and would not be able to physically handle this myself. The initial date of said cleaning schedule was for 8/26/2024 but prior to that date I explained to them that I had to reschedule as the closing date of the property had been pushed back which was out of my control. Upon rescheduling the date, Mary informed me that she had to cancel as her staff had become ill with Covid which was completely understandable. Before rescheduling again, Mary sent sent me messages of contacting a website to find another cleaning service company and kept pushing me towards contacting the site a day before said cleaning scheduled date. however, Mary was able to schedule the next date of 8/28/24 for a 10 am start. At 9:08 the morning of the 28th, Mary sent me a text message that stated, "We will be there at 11am, thank you!" this message did not even come with an apology or an inquiry if this would be ok. The drive to the condo to be be cleaned was an hour away from me and I was already in rout there when I received that message. I had no choice but to agree as I was 1 day out of surgery and the move in was the scheduled for the 3oth. I had to sit and wait an hour for their 11 am arrival in which Jon did not arrive until 11:30am telling me he was just arriving from a canoeing trip. Jon called me to do a walk through of the bathroom so that he could begin washing the carpets and avoid stepping on them. As I did the walk through, I pointed out several things that still needed to be completed and he stated he was not done and would make sure they were done. Nothing was cleaned properly, I have all the text messages, photos, and videos to show as receipts. I have tried to reach out to them on several occasions and they have ignored me for the most part and barely respond. ***Also please note, they have now changed their business name and site to: jomo management same phone 908-698-9999 located in high bridge nj**** please be aware and do not waste your money!!
