Our neighborhood (Patapsco Woods) hosted an event and arranged for the B and F Truck to come out! Wow ! These guys worked hard making sooo many pizzas for four hours. Delicious brick oven pizza! I have been following BricknFire Mobile truck for months and so glad I finally got the opportunity to try them at Fair Winds Brewery in VA. Please come back! I couldn't decide between the appetizing options, so I ordered 3 pizzas! The pizzas were made impressively fast in 3 minutes at 800 degrees. I love the pillowy crust and Neapolitan style pizza with scrumptious toppings! The Hippie was my favorite loaded up with marinated mushroom, caramelized onion, goat cheese and mascarpone cheese topped with arugula. The perfect blend of ingredients that worked to complement and elevate the flavor. The Cheese pizza wasn't my favorite and reminded me of NY style with a homemade blend of Asiago, Parmesan, Fontina, and Mozzarella Cheese. If you are a fan of NY style pizza, then I recommend getting it! I wish I stuck to my gut and got the Margarita pizza instead. Next time! The only difficult part was choosing between all of their amazing pizzas to serve! The day of the wedding, they were very professional, their setup looked so nice, the pizza was coming out hot, and they were such a hit! In terms of the local area, BricknFire is way better than its competitors. I got the pepperoni pizza and it was a decent size. The pepperonis are really juicy after they cook it in their oven, and the cheese is perfectly melted. The crust on the other hand is very soft. I expected it to be more crispy at the bottom, but the texture similar to any pizza out there. However, the crust does taste good and can be eaten on its own. Pizza came out quick and tasted very fresh. The sauce doesn't taste artificial and tastes homemade. I would recommend this place, especially since they bring their own brick oven with their truck. Had the privilege of trying their food truck - a brickfire oven on the trailer bed of a pickup truck. Thought it was really cool how they are able to bring out a whole oven like that. I got the Carnie, which is basically a meat lover's pizza. It was soooooo delicious. Probably one of the better pizza's I've had in the DMV. I had the opportunity to try BricknFire when they were at Hysteria Brewing in Columbia. How cool is it that they have a legit brick oven on the back of their truck!? I tried two of their pizzas, the Carnie and some type of daily special. Both pizzas were generously loaded with toppings and ready in about 10 minutes. These pizzas were soooooo good! I loved the charred crust and crispy pepperoni toppings. The cheese and sauce ratio was on point and the pizza paired nicely with the 9 beers I sampled. Their pizzas are small and run on the pricey side- $15 for a specialty pizza like the Carnie and $11 for a regular cheese pizza, but it's far better fresh out of the portable pizza oven than any local or fast-food pizza. Tara and Megan were more than amazing and helpful, and I can say I was a little difficult, (unintentionally) but COVID had me freaked out, but they worked it out for me. Upgrading all the packages is worth it, from clean up to day-off coordinator it is so reasonably priced, and the customer service is amazing. I can not say enough great things about them. Found my new pizza place in Catonsville, when they set up shop at the Breadery. We swung over to the Breadery to snag some pies and I'm certainly glad we did. They take orders inside the Breadery and hand toss the pizza. We ordered the braised pork belly and slaw and a regular cheese pizza. Both outstanding. The crust had that nice, light char and the perfect amount of chew to it. They have a wood oven that burns 800+ degrees so the pies only take about 90 seconds or so to finish cooking. They are a mobile pizza stand so head to their Facebook page to find where they will be located and give them a try. I promise you will not be disappointed. It also appears that they may be opening a brick and mortar store in Downtown Bmore. Good for them! I will definitely return to try their other uniquely flavored pies. read more

REALLY well-done pizza, way above average. The crust is about as good as it gets, I like just a bit of char on the bottom, not everyone does. The sauce is really good, and so is the cheese. The topping choices were a little thin the time I went, they couldn't do a veggie pizza. I got "Jesse's Choice" with grilled chicken, red peppers, basil, and really enjoyed it . stuffed myself but ate the whole thing. My wife ended up getting just the Margarita since they didn't have veggies and she really enjoyed it. They are getting ready to open a new permanent location at the Marriot by Camden Yards - if the quality is this good and bigger crowds allow them to keep more topping choices going then it's going to be a big win. I've tried a lot of the highly rated spots in Baltimore; my favorite pizza in town is still the Home Slyce "Port-the-Bella" (with tomato sauce instead of garlic) for outstanding triple-play of crust, toppings, and sauce but BrickNfire is a really close second. I'd put them both ahead of BOP in Fells or Bagby and way ahead of Joe Squared. Haven't yet tried Johnny Rad's or Joe Benny's, and whenever I go into Isabella's I can't stop myself from getting that amazingly great Italian sub so haven't tried their pizza either. Got a Pizza Margherita at the Union Taproom last night. The event was great! The pizza - not so much. The price was exorbitant both for the size and quality of the pizza. The toppings (sauce, mozzarella, basil) were very sparse (which can sometimes work for this style of pizza), but were generally taste-free. The sauce - ho-hum, the cheese was unremarkable, and the coupe de gras: the crust was soggy, cardboard-like, and "bready" in the outer region. So generally not a good pizza. I'd expect to pay $5 for a pizza like this, not $13. Never again, ye scoundrels! read more
