I couldn't remember how this pizza was except that I had loved it. Now I still loved the toppings and the dough was just eh. I can see why some people don't like the dough and why some don't care. Something about the dough is too cheap now. I was too full to try to order a Stromboli. The salad and small salad with pizza slice combo is a great option. I also like the smoothie options and how you can add spinach to them too. There used to be one of these near me and I am sad it didn't survive because they were one of my faves and held their own. Hours later, had food poisoning, and I can't attribute it to anything else, because the food I ate the rest of the day was shared with others who didn't get sick. They pre-make a bunch of pizzas, leave them out at room temperature & reheat whatever slices you buy. After puking all last night I've begun to think this isn't a good idea. I love a good family business, but this felt like buying "Mellow Mushroom" off Temu. We had high hopes based on the average rating, but the pizza was a major letdown. The crust was undercooked and doughy, with a floury, soft undercarriage that lacked any crispiness. The sauce was overly thick--more like underseasoned tomato paste than a proper pizza sauce--and neither I nor my 13-year-old enjoyed it. Absolutely the worst pizza I've eaten in Catonsville. This is undercooked, soggy, gross, and they didn't pop the air bubbles quickly enough and so all the cheese was displaced. My family has frequented this pizza place for almost 15 years now. Obviously the pizza is great, as most reviewers have said. However, would you believe they have THE BEST SALADS EVER?!?! That's what my wife said about the salad she got from here..."The best salad I've ever had". I'm sorry I don't know which of the salads she got, but it seems to have had candied Pecans in it. I love this place. It's a local pizza spot in Catonsville that serves a very interesting assortment of pizza, Strombolis, salads and desserts. You can order a full pizza fresh or select individual slices to go. Everything is a bit pricey but the quality is definitely there and almost everything that I've had has been amazing including the Philly, the Buffalo chicken, and the veggie pizzas. I think my absolute favorite part of coming here is the cookies! Let me tell you about these cookies by Babas. They are heartachingly delicious. Peace A Pizza - a fantastic Catonsville institution. This pizzeria is going to have most combinations of pizza you could imagine - they even have one with pasta on top! You can come in and order by the slice or get the whole pie. My favorite is the Mediterranean Salad pizza, which is just loaded with good Mediterranean flavors like artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers. Two slices of that, and I'm satisfied. I've never had a bad pizza here. They also have stromboli which are solid and a nice variety of salads. I usually go for the Pear and Gorgonzola or the Nutty Goat, both of which have some great candied pecans. They have partnered with, and now share space with, Baba's Desserts, so save room if you're up for some ice cream, cookies, or gourmet brownies after dinner. I've sometimes seen groups of kids having a painting party in there; they apparently have other cool events that you can hire them for too. During COVID-19, Peace A Pizza is keeping you fed and also safe - just place an order on the phone and drive up for contact-less delivery to your car. Love seeing businesses take care to protect their customers. The inside is bright and colorful, clean, and very family-friendly. The pizza is very doughy and will be undercooked if they don't run it through the conveyor twice. The slice was heavy and there was zero grease at all. The sauce has a different flavor then most places I've been to. The service was very fast and it was easy to get a parking spot. As for the ambience it's not bad. I've seen this place in passing, but never stopped in and was desperately craving pizza after my dentist appointment this day. Finally decided to try it out and WOW. It may not look like much from the outside, but you truly cannot judge a book by its cover. I was lucky to grab the last slice of margherita that day and a slice of mac n cheese! The mac n cheese was AMAZING. 10/10 would get again and the magherita was tasty too! I also saw the desserts on my way down the counter to pick up the pizza. I couldn't help but pick up a few of the giant cookies they had. I got a snickerdoodle, sprinkles, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin. They were HUGE and they had a deal 4 for $6. The sprinkles and chocolate chip were some of the best cookies I've ever had and my boyfriend loved the oatmeal raisin! I've been dreaming of the mac n cheese pizza since that day! Peace a pizza is one of the better pizza places in the catonsville area. It's located on Mellor ave off Frederick road. Near duesenbergs if you know where that is. It has a hippie vibe and you can see that as soon as you walk in. They have a good selection of pizzas and slices are about $3 each. Although they don't use their big oven to reheat the pizzas, they still get reheated pretty well. The bottom of the pizza is nice and crispy while the top is warmed up. Only thing I'm not a fan of is their buffalo chicken pizza. It doesn't really have a buffalo flavor to it. The chicken is buffalo flavored but you can't really taste it. Other than that, everything else I've had is pretty good. Definitely stop by if you like pizza and want a quick bite to eat. They also have a ice cream shop in the back. read more

We had lunch here last Saturday. First time visit. We did some shopping and errands nearby and then we were hungry for lunch. Had seen Peace A Pizza a few times while shopping and decided to try it. When we went in they weren't too busy, but a crowd followed us in and they got swamped. Luckily we got our order in quick. I got a Groovy 2 Combo, $7.31 for a small salad and a slice of pizza. I tried the Orange Nut 'n Honey Chicken Salad and Mediterranean Salad Pizza. The salad was delicious! The pizza has a bit of a sweetness to the dough/crust - it isn't bad but it also didn't really go along very well with the flavors in the Mediterranean toppings. I will definitely go back here. I'm not sure if I would get the pizza again, or if I did I would choose toppings that would go better with the sweetness of the dough/crust. I would definitely get a salad again - the salad was absolutely delicious! We didn't try the bakery or the ice cream but those look like great choices as well. Lots of parking. The place is very very clean. The bathrooms are very clean. The employees were very nice and friendly. Prices are fair. The serving sizes are generous. The salad was loaded with chicken (see photos). The pizza was loaded with toppings (see photos). If it wasn't for the sort of odd sweetness of the pizza dough/crust this place would be a superstar for me. As it is I will definitely go back but I'm probably not going to order the pizza again. If you do order the pizza be prepared for the crust to be sweet. read more

I have been wanting to try Peace-A-Pizza for several months now. Sorry to say, I will continue looking. This pizza compares most closely with a Wegman's pizza. Of course, with a name like Peace, can't go wrong. If the food is as great as the person who took my order for delivery is, we will be hooked! Upon walking into this place it immediately reminded me of a Mellow Mushroom for kids. There are games for kids and I would not be surprised to see adults playing them also. What I mean by that is that it did not have a bar where you could be served up a few drinks. No Alcohol? Surprisingly this review from me still continues despite that. I was in the area of Catonsville and decided to look at what was on my bookmarks list and Peace of Pizza was only half a mile away. If you decide to go there don't get discouraged by the tight parking on the street as the store is located in a lot with plenty of parking. It could also have to do with it being lunch time on a Friday also in an area surrounding by eating places. This establishment is very kid friendly as I saw an entire section reserved and being prepped for a kid's birthday party, but there was still plenty of seating in the restaurant. This is a typical pizza place where you can get a few slices or a whole pizza if you wish. The pizzas are warmed back up in the oven but looking at the selection it defiantly does not look like the pizzas are sitting there for long as there is a constant steady stream of customers. Certain slices such as peperoni and cheese are offered at set prices with additional toppings and other specialties offered a bit more. There was just the right amount of cheese and the sauce to me had a little sweetness to it. I decided to go with a slice of cheese and meat lovers. Trust me there is plenty of meat on this slice. The dough was a bit tough as you ate from the center of the pizza. The pizza was ok and I don't intend ok to sound bad. It was what you expected. It was not a one and done but it was not something I would go out of my way for. Overall not a bad spot to stop for a slice to hold you over. Went here with a few friends during final's week and nothing seemed more comforting than a few slices of freshly baked pizza. The basil and tomato slices were basic, but hit the spot perfectly. There was also ample free parking. The service didn't stand out to me, but it wasn't bad. The pizza business is also attached to a bakery that's located in the back. I haven't tried their baked goods yet, but it was completely empty compared to the noisy customers up in the front of the building. read more
