Bricks was cozy, friendly, efficient and served enormous portions. My chicken sandwich was tender, lean and delicious with a good roll and lots of tomato, lettuce and I ordered extra raw onion..and I got it. My husband had mediterranean platter which was excellent: humus, feta, raw cucumbers and carrots, warmed pita. It was delicious. Our problem was that we also ordered - on the spur of the moment - the fried mushrooms and pickles as an appetizer. They were hot, crispy and absolutely delicious and we ended up with so much food that we could have shared with people at the next table. We ended up taking some back to our hotel. We've been many times w small to large groups. The service and food are always good! For a sports bar, it's surprising. Great options, great food, and great atmosphere! My Husband and I are on our honeymoon to local Harbor Island and after much Yelp-review reading we decided this was worth a gamble. We were not disappointed! This is some of the best food I've had in my life. Per our waiter Kevin's recommendation I had the Open Faced Meatloaf sandwich. It was piled with crispy onions and at first glance I had second thoughts about my decision. As you'll see in my picture it's not the most eye-pleasing option. However...upon the first bite my mind was quickly changed! The crispiness of the onions offset the softness of the bread, melted cheese and gravy and a hint of molasses sweetness hits you in the palate at the last second. If this doesn't sound like your thing the burgers are a safe bet. My husband had his with a side of BBQ sauce and he said it's the best he's had! Best aspect of this restaurant is that it is pet friendly and they have some good fan action on their patio. No surprises here in terms of menu. Typical pub stuff with burgers, fried seafood, wings, nachos, and chicken fingers. The entrees offered some more non standard items like meatloaf, liver and onions, and a chicken and a cottage pie. Nothing that sounded enticing to us. We stuck with the basics and ordered a burger and wings. Both were edible but certainly not noteworthy. Pretty ho hum in the end. read more

Tried to eat dinner with the folks (all locals) here and were told they could only seat us at a hi-top, as they were instituting a rotation/section system for the servers. As we waited, a booth became available and they refused to seat us there, the manager referencing the "system". So disappointing that we were not welcomed and felt they did not want to serve us. read more

Don't try to order to-go over the phone! Their rude staff will put you on hold and NEVER pick up so the phone is ALWAYS BUSY and there's no other way to contact them. This is the 3rd time I've tried to call when the phone had a busy signal for the whole day (I checked specifically for this review) or the staff would place me on hold and never pick back up. This used to be my favorite place around beaufort but this has got to be the biggest issue. They're losing business because they don't want to communicate. Hopefully they'll fix this issue so I can update my review. read more

This was an awesome dining experience from start to finish. We had a wonderful server and the food was delicious! I definitely recommend the baja fried flounder tacos (very filling), also their shrimp is fresh and local and awesome! My kiddos had the quesadillas and mac and cheese and we all split the beer pretzels! SO good! Definitely worth the stop! We had a few special requests and they did amazing! The atmosphere is casual but clean and family friendly. There is outdoor seating for warmer weather. There's a nice ambiance to the lighting. Only one thing that wasn't great but honestly is was a nonissue during our visit. There's one and only unisex restroom. I could see if they were busier that being an issue, but at noon on this Saturday it wasnt very packed until we got ready to about an hour later. read more

The country fried steak was outstanding! Grilled zucchini with mashed taters. Absolutely will return for more. I returned a few days later and had fish platter, not on menu, and it was not outstanding...fish was the stuff you buy from grocery store in wedges. However, the shrimp and oysters were good. Grilled squash and zucchini was good but not outstanding. Still a great place to visit during a brief vacation. read more

We tried Bricks again even though our last experience was not good. We sat on the patio and waited forever to put in a drink order. After we put in our order, most of the people received their food, finished it and left before we ever got a drink. Our first try at ordering a PBR led us to find out after 15 minutes that they were out of PBR. The next try for rum and ginger ale came back with the same news 10 minutes later. We were not off to a good start. We ordered food and waited again. We asked to person who brought our salads for silverware and if he could track down our server to get another round of drinks. She finally came back and we got another round. We ordered the crab and shrimp burger, sliders, the chicken pot pie and fried shrimp. The good: The sliders were ok, they would have been better if the bacon on them had been cooked all the way. The fried shrimp and fries were good. The chicken pot pie was good. The house salads were good. The bad: Shrimp and crab burger was really weird and mushy. The twice baked mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless. They are really just a scoop of instant mashed potatoes with green onions, bacon and cheese sprinkled on top. There is no baking involved. They were so cold there was no heat element involved either. Don't even consider paying the upcharge to add this as your side dish. The zucchini, bean, squash and carrot vegetable of the day were not even cooked. Our server finally told us that the reason things were off was because the hostess and 2 of the servers had called off work. It was Mother's day and they were crowded and 3 people were running the entire restaurant. Whoever is managing this place needs to figure it out. Our bill for 4 people was over $100 and we had a horrible experience. We felt sorry for the server because she was trying her best, but you can't handle a restaurant this size with 3 people working on a holiday. This visit may be the straw that broke Brick's back. Loved the food and atmosphere of this place. Good musics not too loud. I had the fish tacos blackened, twice baked mashed potatoes, and a citrus sangria margarita and everything was delicious and the servings were not small. They basically did't have anything on the menu sues "to renovations". I think they should have written that somewhere when you walk in. Then on top of that I had a rude server who was being sassy. So I was sassy back and didn't leave a tip. I was a server and that's not how you treat someone who will tip you. A group of 4 of us ate at Bricks on Boundary Saturday night. We sat down and ordered appetizers which came fairly quickly. We all ordered fried shrimp which took about 30 minutes to come out. The shrimp were good. However, my husband and I both ordered the mac and cheese....bad idea. It was basically easy mac. no flavor at all. Our server brought us our checks and we noticed that they were not correct. Our server pointed out to us that he forgot to charge us for one of the "up charge" fees on the mac and cheese and he would need to correct that. We were confused because it did not say anything about a up charge on the menu. His response was, "yeah, I guess I should have told you about that".. He said it was just $1.50. Whatever, we will pay it. He brings our updated check back and he had added an additional $5 to our check... we pointed out his mistake but he did not take action to make it right. We were frustrated and ready to leave. Upon leaving the hostess said goodbye to us and a few of us responded.. apparently she did not hear us and rudely stated "OR NOT". Overall, rude staff and bad experience. We will not be returning. read more

My Partner and I struggled to find descent food in Beaufort on a recent vacation. And Bricks was part of the problem. I ordered their meatloaf entree, and it was, well, interesting. Not great. My partner ordered a hamburger and fries, and there was nothing special about that either. We knew we were in trouble when we ordered a Caesars salad ahead of the meal, and it was very plain.
