Specials every night (kids eat free on Mondays, $2 beers on Tuesdays, etc.) Outside patio area nice, but usually filled with smokers. Love the Quesadilla Roll and the Crab & Shrimp Fritter Sliders - very creative! Trivia is free and fun on Thursdays. Sports games on TV around the bar. Went on a Sunday around 4pm and it wasn't busy at all. Our server was Mitchell, he was very attentive and helpful. He was polite and our drinks stayed full. We went to bricks back in 2013 and had an awful experience, glad that we gave them another chance because the food and customer service was amazing. Ate there last night and although it was highly recommended...we we very disappointed. The server did a nice job but the kitchen did not. We ordered one of the pizzas .. It was served 10 minutes after the other meals were served and it was burnt to a crisp. The crust was black and only a few pieces could have been eaten. runner heard our comments but chose to ignore them as he walked away. When our server was called to our table she agreed with us that the pizza should never have been served. The kitchen remade the pizza. The manager delivered it with apologies; however he offered only a 10% reduction in cost. Needless to say we were not happy with our experience. read more

Ate at Bricks in Beaufort for the first time tonight (third time in two weeks for my co-diners). Yelp reviews reviewed beforehand had me worried about the service. My experienced co-diners had no such concerns and our server, Trevor (college student/Marine Corps vet), put any in my mind to rest immediately. Solicitous without being in our faces and a good taste for recommending beers. Granted, they weren't too busy but they were filling up and we had no problems with their timing or attentiveness. Food was good and the portions were outrageous (who, in this day and age, puts a half pound of shrimp into a pasta dish and then only charges $17 for it?). Co-diners ate a steak (apparently cut from a T-Rex by the size) and the chicken pot pie. Couldn't believe that a modern, U.S. restaurant kitchen would actually cook a steak "rare" when ordered that way. The pot pie was so full of chicken I kept looking for feathers and a beak. Two minor complaints from a dyed-in-the-wool foodie is all I can muster: pasta was about a minute beyond al dente and one side vegetable was too salty. That didn't stop us from boxing up and taking home the six or so pounds of food left over after we were fully stuffed. If you're in Beaufort (or within a foodie-accepted range of fifty miles), make the trip. The kitchen manager (who came out on his own near the end of our meal) is going to try to make sure your visit is worth it. read more

We were looking for a lunch spot in Beaufort to meet family staying in Hilton Head and picked Bricks. I'm glad we did! The staff was super friendly and our waitress was really knowledgeable about their food. The menu is really big so it was hard to make a decision (seafood, salads, burgers, sandwiches, burritos...). Around the table, we got shrimp and crab melts, shrimp and crab burger, fried egg burger and a greek salad. They DO NOT SKIMP on portions!! I was laughing at my mother-in-law's Huge shrimp and crab melt until my humongous salad was placed in front of me. It was twice the size that I imagined it would be and was super tasty with toasted pita bread. Everyone was really happy with their meals - apparently the burgers and shrimp and crab cakes are where it's at! We don't live in Beaufort but if we are there again, we'll be making a return visit! read more

My personal favorite Beaufort eatery! The atmosphere and quality are impressive, and it's difficult to leave without leftovers because of their legendary portion size. Craft beer selection and other adult beverages are impressive also. Wednesday night music is also a highlight. Outdoor eating is comfortable and a great option most nights. I thought this place was perfect for what we were looking for. 8 teens and a few tired and hungry adults. We were lucky to get there before dinner rush and got seated immediately and they were so damn friendly and the server was just super accommodating. He offered to split the checks any which way and we really worked him on that one. I got the fish sandwich and was amazed at the size of it. Not only that I really liked how it tasted. The pizza was a 2 person meal but our teens got one each. They thought they could eat it and they all ate half or less. The pizza was pretty good. If it was better I am sure this would have been a 5 star. I visit Beaufort a few times a year and will be back. read more

Awesome Hamburgers, Awesome Brunch and Amazing Deserts!!! A must visit when in Beaufort. I have being going to bricks on boundary street for about two years. I am from Dublin, Ireland originally and have traveled all over the world. You will find a Great Full Bar, Great Food, Awesome Brunch and it certainly lives up to my high expectations as a well traveled man. I have found the food, customer service is consistently great. I know a lot of Marines and USMC Dependents will concur with my comments on this amazing restaurant across the street from the Beaufort National Cemetery. It is so good that I travel from Hilton Head Island. I certainly will give bricks on boundary street five stars and more. If you are in Beaufort, Bluffton, Savannah and Hilton Head it is certainly well worth a visit. If your order is not perfect be sure to talk to the owners. They won't let you leave disappointed. In closing they offer great seating at the bar, lots of seating inside and great out door seating. I certainly will be returning in the near future. read more

We saw a packed parking lot every time we passed. We were just tourist so always concerned we will get ripped off but we surely will go back to Bricks! The best service around! We had a party of 10 and with only one hour until closing they welcomed us with smiles. Our server, Toria, was amazing. She was so sweet and efficient. We never waited for anything and she seemed to anticipate our needs. Great with the kids too! The food for all the kids came out first. What a concept! 10 seconds later, all the adults meals were out and they got all orders right. Did I mention we had 10 people in our party?? The food was outstanding from half pound burgers to super fresh salads. Kid's menu satisfied all the littles. But, the service was what put our experience over the top!!! Prices were reasonable too! I'm giving this joint four stars because it's a four star joint. I've been in town taking care of an injured son and have eaten here several times, the food was very good every time. It's a burger joint really w a few extra, but it's good. Bar is cool, limited selection of tap and ipa but usually have a guitar playing. If this place had a good tap system and some descent beer it would be hard to beat. The little bearded bar tender is a smart ass, but you kinda expect it from a bar tender from time to time. If I was in his dead end job, I would be grumpy too sometimes. Anyway, with that said, it's a good place to grab a beer (bottled), and a dang good burger! read more

We were coming down from Charleston and our friends were coming up from Savannah and we chose this place to meet for lunch. We have two 7 year olds -- our friends have a 4 year old. We waited about 15 minutes for drink orders and another 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order. If this wasn't enough, it took at least 1 hour for our food to be delivered. Our kids were climbing the walls. My wife got the pulled pork burger which was disgusting. My friend and I got the burger and it was sufficient. The food was fair at best. In fairness to the waiter, she was the only one there and she did a sufficient job. After driving down an hour and 20 minutes, it was truly a lackluster experience. read more

In my opinion, one of the best all around restaurants in Beaufort. I have dined here several times and the food is always great. The service is always good and they are always happy to accommodate my service dog. Try the cottage pie, or any of their Greek specialties, you won't be disappointed. Food was OK however the server made our dining experience the worst ever. Upon paying for our meal I requested to speak with the manager. This is when the situation went totally south. I was informed the shift manager was the line cook and next up was Kim. I spoke with Kim outside about our experience with our server Brooke and she was to quick to defend her stating did she mention this was her second night on. I stopped Kim in what would be her impromptu roll as a manager that is the wrong thing to tell a customer. I ask for contact information for the owner and received a reply he in in Utah. OK what is his contact information? Kim went back inside and when she returned gave me a napkin with our server's name Brooke, the restaurants name Bricks and her name Kim with what she was attempting for me to believe a phone number to reach out to the owner in Utah. I promptly called the provided number and reached the restaurant hostess. I requested to speak with Kim and was passed off to Jose the line cook/manager. After explaining to the cook my concern he gave me an e-mail for the owner for which was useless. Then Jose gave me the old exit plan of I can't here you for which his connection was crystal. What a mistake taking my wife on our 30th anniversary to Brick, NEVER AGAIN.!!! read more

Thanksgiving day traditional turkey dinner: I've never been so disappointed in my life! It was AWFUL! I don't know what happened because we've been to that restaurant before and the dinner was pretty good but not this year! Maybe a new chef? I got a chunk of dark turkey meat, not even a small slice of the breast. The stuffing was miserable, dry and tasteless. No onions, no celery - just bread crumbs with no seasoning. The mashed potatoes were just okay but NO GRAVY! Whoever heard of thanksgiving dinner with no gravy??? The green beans were in some kind of bland sauce with fried onions on top that were so tough you couldn't chew them. The cranberry sauce was straight out of the can. No pumpkin pie, no pecan pie. Apple pie, which would have been good except for the fact that the apples were frozen solid! I gave it an F! read more

We had a large group (12 of us) for a celebratory birthday/USMC graduation dinner for our son. There seemed to be some minor confusion with our reservation when we arrived, but they seated us with no problem nonetheless, and we proceeded to have a great time! The food was very good and the portions quite generous (we took numerous to-go boxes home with us). The staff very accommodating and not only provided our son with a free birthday sundae, they also helped us with the cake we brought for the occasion. In fact, it was the manager who had suggested to me a location to pick up a birthday cake, and the cake turned out to be delicious. The crowd was also very friendly, despite being a little louder as one would expect in this type of establishment. Two different individuals, both former Marines, came over and congratulated our son, and the band recognized his birthday and boot camp graduation from the stage...a very nice touch. The best part of the experience though was our server Mitchell. With a party of our size you would expect some hiccups, but Mitchell never missed a beat! He ensured that everyone's orders were taken in a timely manner, and that their drinks were kept full. Mitchell was spot-on with all of the orders and took tremendous care of our party...it was he who let the band know about our son's special day. We simply could not have asked for better or friendlier service, and Mitchell really helped to make this a wonderful occasion for our family! Thanks again to him and the entire staff of Bricks! Don't know when we'll be back in Beaufort, but Bricks is on the list when we do return. read more
