Not worth it. The menu has 4 appetizers, 4 salads , two burgers and a handful of pizza. That's all. Also one burger was ~$20 (+2 for cheese!) so not only is the menu thin, but then they're also out of hamburgers. Service was attentive (there were two other people in the restaurant, however, that's not saying the service wasn't pleasant nonetheless) , ambiance was fantastic, but where is the restaurant? Good service, respectable Korean chicken that could have used more peppers for flavoring. I am not sure if the maple syrup was 100% but I hope so considering the price. The blue cocktail had good tropical flavor and the alcohol wasn't too much which I like personally. read more

We made it here our last night at the hotel. They closed early, in my opinion, for a restaurant/ bar attached to a massive hotel. The surrounding areas do not have many bars and restaurants so I would think the ones that are in the area would stay open longer, since it seems like there is a demand. We arrived about an hour and a half prior to closing. We had a disappointing dinner but were still not hungry. We browsed the menu and ordered some drinks. The place was not packed but it was definitely busy. There were at least 20 of us sitting there. The place is huge. There were plenty of places to sit but we decided to sit at the bar for quick service. Besides, since it was near closing, there might not have been table service. Our bartender was okay but not super attentive or sociable. My first drink was delivered picture perfect but my second drink did not have all the fancy garnishes. I guess it made sense since they were closing soon. The food always smelled good so maybe next time I will try the food. read more

Nice atmosphere for unwinding after a busy day in DC. The lively bartenders are amazing and the mushroom pizza they recommended was, chef's kiss, perfecto! The menu is pretty limited and unfortunately included a lot of spicy food but maybe that's your jam. read more

Regina (a bartender that has apparently to been there for many years) is absolutely horrendous. She is rude, disrespectful, mean and generally unpleasant and unhelpful. I genuinely wonder how she still has a job. But because it is a hotel bar, it is probably easier to get away with being completely off-putting given most of the guests are traveling and not regulars (Regina would never survive in a bar frequented by repeat patrons). I think the reviews praising Regina are due to her finally trying to be attentive on that particular day as a result of manager feedback. I did not give one star and instead gave two because Kalparna and Brigitte are both incredible bartenders. They are kind, attentive, approachable and thoughtful. They should both absolutely be the face of the bar, and Regina should find a new job where she does not have to interact with customers. read more

There weren't many people in the restaurant but it took the server a long time for each stage of our meal - bringing us water, taking our orders and serving the food. The temperature in the room was so cold that we all ordered hot drinks to stay warm. Nice ambience and set up. I was going to give it 4 stars but when I got the bill they charged me $17 for a large beer while the menu listed $9 for a regular beer, so dropped it to 3 stars. While paying the overpriced bill I noticed a mouse running around the place and the bar person wasn't surprised, indicating it wasn't the first time they had seen a mouse there, so I dropped it another star. Did you know they import their pizza dough from Italy? Welp, now you do. Get the pizza, burger and flat breads. You will love them! This restaurant is located inside the Embassy Suites we were staying at. In the end it was cheaper to just eat here, not go in the cold and/or order DoorDash. Our host was so kind. He sat us down and engaged with my 10 year old son about the kids menu offering. I really appreciate it when my children have interactions with others. The food was pretty good. Yes, pricing subs a tad high. But, the quality was worth it, you are in DC and a hotel. Need something cheaper? I'm sure there is another option. But, my family needed the connivence this evening. The flatbreads and pizza were fantastic! The side house salad was pretty plentiful. My kiddos chicken tenders were massive. The old bay fries were tasty as well. Stopped by the bar as I was attending an event in the private room. As many people were grabbing a drink before the event, there www standing room only. For there to be multiple people working at the bar, I had to wait a long time to be acknowledged. I was finally had a chance to order as they were admitting folks into the event. Plenty surprised...a hotel restaurant that also does the room service for the hotel...I did not have high expectations. We ate there twice, both times we got take out. The first time we brought the food with us to eat as a picnic on the the Mall near the monuments. The fried chicken sandwich, the Caesar salad and the chicken tenders all traveled well. The chicken sandwich in particular was very good, did not get soggy. The second time, after coming back from a full day of sightseeing, we were exhausted...so we got take out and brought it back to our room. We got the Caesar salad again, a pepperoni pizza, and a the Mac & cheese. This time the Mac and cheese was the pleasant surprise. It was made with cavatappi pasta, and had a delicious cheesy creamy, but not too thick sauce. The only complaint was they forgot to put the Caesar dressing in the bag, so I had to go back down for it, but they did make up for it by giving me a free drink, which is really appreciated. read more

The Cuban sandwich was flooded with Jerk seasoning, never had that before. I rarely send back food, but I seriously could not eat that. My daughter got her Caesar salad with grilled chicken and it wasn't sliced, it was a breast basically cut into four. Nothing says F you than a lazy kitchen. The one star is for the flatbread, possibly the safest thing on the menu. Please avoid this place at all costs. There are better choices within walking distance. read more

Stopped in around 9pm. We had been on a tour, it was the only place open nearby. Sat at the bar, and waited a while as the staff didn't bother to look at us for a good 5 minutes. When they finally did, we got an order for a pizza in, and then one of them proceeded to stand in front of us while she stared at her phone. Felt like we were imposing on them, and they didn't want to bother. Once we got our pizza, it was actually very good. Crispy, fresh and hot. The floor was filthy, the bar was full of dirty dishes, and the lighting was so bright, it was uncomfortable. This is in the Embassy Suites. Stopped in the restroom in the Lobby, and it was disgusting. Filthy dirty everywhere. I would never stay in this hotel nor return to this restaurant. read more
