Came here on a Saturday night with my fiancée for a date night. We wanted something a little upscale since we were already dressed up from earlier. This place did not disappoint. It was classy and the food was delicious. I got a pineapple martini and my fiancée got the margarita which both were really good. You can tell it was real fruits used with the pineapple martini. My fiancée got the filet mignon, the juiciest and most tender steak I ever had and I'm not a steak person. I got the Glazed atlantic salmon which was lightly seasoned but it was tender and had a nice crust on top. The mixed stir fry vegetables that it was paired with was really good. Lastly the dessert I got the carrot cake which is hands down one of the best tasting carrot cakes I ever had. I know most would skip that option but trust you need to try it. Its so light and its warmed with a cream cheese topping, it was too small! Lol My fiancée had the sundae with chocolate ice cream Overall, we had a great time at Bricktops and its decently priced. One of my favorite places to eat! However, tonight's service fell extremely short. Tonight we decided to be on the wild side and sit at the bar. Working in this industry (bartender & server) sometimes you want to just sit at a table. But we wanted the more personal and open conversation space. Our server tonight was Lawrence & he was well. Not very attentive throughout the service. No check in after our food got dropped off or refill on waters without asking. Even when I arrived after my party, I had to call him over to even place my appetizer. Also the demeanor from Danielle wasn't very pleasant either. It seemed as if no servers behind the bar smiles. If they smiled it definitely wasn't given to ALL customers at the bar. However, Maurice came into the bar area at the end of our night with a smile and asked us how our day was and grabbed our finished plates. The most pleasant and nearly only one that even welcomed us with a smile. The food runners/servers that even brought us our food didn't even say what entrees where nor spoke really. Literally just stared at us. We started off with an order of spinach and artichoke dip & the yum yum sushi roll! The sushi rolll was to die for!! It was so good and I normally just eat one piece of a roll but this was WONDERFUL ! I highly recommend that if you like sushi. The spinach on the other hand wasn't really good. It was as if the spinach wasn't as fresh before cooked. For dinner I ordered the chicken Milanese with creamy whipped mashed potatoes & it was pretty good overall. The Parmesan crust was a bit overpowering the champagne blanc sauce. I def recommend drinking a wine with this meal to balance it out! Service at the tables are a lot better, in my opinion. Despite the crazy traffic (doesn't anybody work anymore) we had no trouble finding the place. We chose BrickTop's based on yelp images and reviews. The parking lot is massive so we didn't have to hunt or squeeze into street parking or pay for metered parking. There is a proper attire notice posted on the door. But the host said there isn't a dress code. I guess that it's there as a deterrent. You'll find white table cloth and linen napkins. Further upping the classy scale. Making you wonder how much is this really going to cost. The menu features a verity of options that center around $15, so you can bet that your ticket will average $20 a person if you avoid bar beverages. I ordered the fish tacos and I promise you they were the best tacos I've ever had. Ever. Mom ordered the crispy chicken salad and the presentation alone was stunning. In celebration of our 1 year Wedding Anniversary my husband took me here for a lovely night out. Everything about this restaurant was above and beyond expectations. We started off with ordering the Rum Old Fashion and a Prickly Pear Margarita and the Yum Yum Sushi. The drinks were flavorful and tastefully strong and the sushi was delicious. We were slightly hesitant at first knowing there was steak on top of the sushi but omg it only added to the flavor. We also ordered the lobster bisque was good with the chunks of lobster in it. For our entrees I got the Ahi Tuna and my husband got the Steak Frites with a loaded baked potato. My Tuna was INCREDIBLE! I'm a sucker for ahi tuna and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were the perfect touch to compliment the flavor of the tuna as well. The Steak Frites was cooked a perfect medium rare and had just the right amount of seasoning especially with the dressing that was on top of it. For the second round of drinks we got the perfect Gin Tonic and Rose Colored Glasses. We definitely enjoyed the Perfect Gin Tonic over the other. If you were to get the rose colored glasses I would recommend asking for a straw as we found it tasted better. Our server Alex was so attentive to detail and provided excellent service. He was beyond knowledgeable of the menu and really made the dinner that much more enjoyable. There was also a manager named Tarran who came over to see how we were throughout the meal. She was dressed impeccably and really looked like she not only knew what was going on, but really cared what each and every customer had to say. All in all I would say this place is a MUST for any occasion. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. read more

I came at lunchtime with my wife and her coworkers. I ordered Filet Mignon with medium and rare. The appetizer Deviled Eggs and Millionaires Bacon was so so, I am not fan of this kind eggs. Filet Mignon was delicious and very tasty, but it's not the best I tried, the outer layer could be crispier and inside could be tender. That's why I took off one star. The 2 siders were very good too: tomato and spinach, I specially like the spinach: it's not soggy, one can have teeth to chew on its texture. This is a perfect spot to stop after the airport, and was super busy on a Wednesday night (they do close at 9 tho!). It has a casual steakhouse vibe. So the sushi was soooo good. The tuna steak was one of the best I've ever had. The carrot cake was the best one I've ever had, and was so warm and gooey and sweet. Finally the key lime pie was fantastic. Hands down on of the worst experiences I've had in Nashville today at lunch. Lobster bisque was cold and the sauce on this steak tasted so awful, I let my friend try it and he agreed. Tasted like old anchovies. Not the least bit pleasant. So many people were complaining already about the bisque being cold I didn't wanna be mean to the bartender and send anything back. The food is good, service is great and the atmosphere is very warming and comfortable. Love the service, warm ambience- "Houston's on St. Charles in New Orleans vibe," and delicious food. I normally don't cheat on my diet but when I do it is for good reason like receiving a $100 BT gift card. I ordered the Grilled Trout topped with crab meat, champagne beurre blanc, capers, and served with broccoli. My husband ordered the BBQ Pork Baby Back Ribs, served with cole slaw and french fries. The ribs were tender and seasoned to perfection. Yes I had one, two, ok three and it had licking my fingers. We both enjoyed our dinner. I declined dessert and decided to have a second Charred Grapefruit cocktail since I wasn't driving. Overall a great restaurant for date night, a business meeting, drink after work, or for any occassion. There is a private parking lot with spaces on the side and back.
