Crustburger (fries not pictured) // ig: @nigirigirlsforever

Bright and fun fast-casual spot that has GLUTEN FREE BISCUITS AND FRIED CHICKEN!! They get their flour specially milled for them. I had the gluten-ful fried chicken sandwich (dipped in a hot sauce/duck fat emulsion, YUM) with hashbrown waffle and loved it (get some hot honey and put it on there). Boyfriend had the gluten free chicken biscuit add bacon, said it was fantastic and the only thing he would've changed was adding an egg. Dad had the super crispy crustburger, add an extra patty. He said it was perfect and he's glad he added the extra patty. I appreciated that I saw them cleaning their vent hood and flat top thoroughly while we were in there. Sanitation standards on 10!!! It's fast food done really well, only slightly pricier than fast food generally is these days and the ROI you get at a place like this is beyond worth it imo. Personally though, I'm getting the chicken over the burger every time.

Craving crispy, salty, cheesy goodness, head to Joyland. I enjoyed the colorful decor, simple menu, and casual atmosphere. The smash burger is a true smash with a lacy edge and crispy meat. Service is quick and friendly. This is a good choice for a fast, tasty meal.

Gluten free crust burger. Phenomenal!!!

As someone who's gluten intolerant I had to stop in to try their gluten free crust burger and it was phenomenal! I couldn't even tell it was gluten free. It was the perfect bread to meat to cheese ratio. The sauce was delicious and they have Dr. Pepper, which was icing on the cake for me. Close to perfect meal! I'll be dreaming about this burger for awhile to come! The staff was great, the building was clean and service was excellent!

The Joyburger and Curly Fries

My boyfriend and I went to get dinner at Joyland on a Sunday night. They have parking in the back that's free and pretty convenient. We were able to very quickly order our food at the counter and get a table. Our food came out quickly and was very hot! I got the classic Joyburger and my boyfriend got the Crustburger, both combos with curly fries. The burgers were good, though I would not be mad with a little more flavor. An option with jalapeños or a little bit of spice would be amazing! The curly fries were good, although the batch I got were mostly small pieces and not big curls. Overall we had a pretty good experience.

Delicious burger and crinkle fries!! Yes!!

My burger was juicy and delicious!! Fries were also great. My husband and I will return very soon. Staff was friendly and helpful since this was our first visit. Did not disappoint!! Can't wait to return. I really want to try the crust burger next time!

The answer is...the answer. Eric R. randomly selected Answer on a list of restaurants we scrolled…read morethrough to make a reservation for on our first night in Nashville this week. It is tucked in a neighborhood in the West End, and most people were surprised we found it or had heard of it as non-locals. It is a very popular spot. We arrived 20 minutes early and snagged the last parking spot in the lot behind the restaurant. Eric R. wanted to sit outside, so we were directed to wait at the bar until a table opened up. I got the cucumber sage yuzu spritz mocktail, and Eric R. got a local amber beer. Our table was ready within 10 or 15 minutes, so we migrated to it for dinner. Our server was helpful in providing recommendations. We started with three shareables: the mussels in lemongrass serrano beer broth and grilled bread, tempura long-stemmed artichokes on Calabrian chile mascarpone, and the lamb lollipops with pearled cous cous. I tasted the lamb, and it was heavenly, like melt-in-your-mouth tender but with a lot of caramelization. That was really Eric R.'s choice so I let him eat the majority of it. I really enjoyed the mussels and the artichokes! Everything was hot and delicious. I was sipping broth with a mussel shell when the bread ran out, and the host came out with more bread for us! It was so good. We asked to see a dessert menu. Eric R. had a tough choice between carrot cake and blondie with caramel ice cream, but was steered toward the blondie and did not regret it. I asked what the house made ice cream was for the day, and it was coconut matcha with a white chocolate shell topping. That sounded so perfect, and it was AMAZING. The evening was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! That is the answer!

Answer has been on my list for happy hour! $6 drinks and snacks! They have a great happy hour with…read moresolid food and drink options. HEADS-UP the happy hour menu is bar-top only, so plan accordingly if you're going specifically for those deals. Limited seating available. Happy Hour & Spice Level I had the happy hour cocktail it was bourbon, lemon and honey. The food was flavorful overall, but I do wish the menu clearly noted which items are spicy. Most of the happy hour dishes seemed to have some kind of chili oil or heat element. That may be great for people who enjoy spice, but it would be helpful to know ahead of time, especially if you're sensitive to heat. For dessert, we always come back for the chocolate panna cotta with graham cracker crumble and burnt marshmallow, which was a nice sweet finish. This one is a must! To put this into next level I recommend adding the pretzel bites instead of graham cracker and a few salted flakes. We also tried the almond butter cornbread with blackberry, but I would avoid it. It was pretty dry and didn't have enough balance. The manager? Said it was a new item they were trying. I think it would be much better with ice cream or a salted caramel sauce to add moisture and richness. It was dry even when I mentioned it they didn't comp it we only had a bite and immediately decided it wasn't worth it. Final Thoughts Overall, Answer is a nice spot with a great happy hour, but clearer spice notes on the menu and a few tweaks to the dessert options would make the experience better. If you are seating by the bar it gets loud I wish the bartender doesn't just throw the drinks/plates so aggressively that it clanks. Also this place gets loud definitely not a lot for sound to absorb.

Is there anything better than finding a delicious vegan restaurant with great customer service?…read more Avo is just that! I came into town late and was looking to pickup some food. The team was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to their menu and allergens. They walked me through the lentil walnut and cali burger and how to make those soy-free (remove the coconut cheese/queso). They also walked me through other options and were happy to do so, which can be rare. The Cali Burger had amazing spice and the sweet potato bun was soft and delicious. Fries and buffalo wings were on point! My non-vegan colleagues originally wanted to go elsewhere but ended up devouring their options as they couldn't say "no" when they tasted the food. Avo is a must try. Thank you for offering great vegan food and customer service. You have a lifer here!

The kale salad was good, different than what I expected, but still enjoyable. I'd give it about a 7/10. The cauliflower wings were solid and pretty much what you'd expect, around a 7.5/10. Now the standouts... the blueberry cheesecake was a 10/10....so good, rich, and flavorful. The potatoes with queso at the bottom were also amazing, definitely a 9/10. I ordered an iced matcha latte, which I really enjoyed it's slightly on the sweeter side, but still a 9/10 for me. My son got the animal-style burger and absolutely loved it, he gave it a 10/10. On top of the food, the staff was really kind and the customer service was great. I even had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly sweet. Overall, I definitely recommend this spot if you're in Nashville. I'll be coming back every time I'm in the city.
