This brewery is top notch. The building has beautiful brick and amazing stained glass windows. Inside there are plenty of tables and space between them (it's covid season). We ordered 3 different beers, a peaches and cream, a blueberry, and citrus. They were all really good beers not as hoppy as we thought but very good. What made it was my meal. My husband had the turkey guacamole sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was great but the Star was my chicken fried chicken. It was crispy and juicy and so flavorful. It was topped with maple white gravy which was the best white gravy I've ever had. It came with real mashed potatoes and fresh green beans that still had a crunch. We would eat here again and again. Food is GENERALLY good. Atmosphere is nice, inside and out. Love eating out at downtown Fort Smith so location is ideal. We used to always order the chicken fried steak. However, the last time, they had changed the breading and the steak was wayyy too peppery. We could not even eat it. So we now go for the meat loaf, pizza or just a good salad. The service is great sometimes and sometimes just so-so. Overall, we will continue to eat there. read more

Went here for lunch with family we were visiting. I got a stout brew and boneless wings. Both were great. Staff was very friendly, place was clean. The food served to the rest of my party looked good and they said it tasted good as well. It's located in a nice part of downtown Ft Smith. At nights on weekends they open up the big doors and have bands playing. You can sit outside, or inside, and see the small stage well. I really liked this place and will come back next time we are in town with the fam! read more

This place is an absolute jewel in this quaint little town. I had the pork sandwich on a pretzel roll with a sids salad. The salad was completely decked out! Not the typical boring lettuce and tomato salad. But the pulled pork was definitely the star. It does pack a little heat. I'm a total wuss when it comes to spice, so it wasn't too bad. My mom had the fish and chips, which are hand battered and flash fried to order which resulted in a light and fluffy fish that was not greasy. Staff and atmosphere were top notch. A great spot to grab a beer or bite in downtown Fort Smith, AR. The menu had plenty of options and their local beer was pretty tasty. I had the blueberry beer and while it did have a faint hint of blueberries it mostly just tasted like a wheat beer which I liked. I ordered the nachos with chicken and my only complaint is that the chicken was very sparse. There was plenty of cheese dip though to help make up for that! I like this place- it's casual, they have a wide variety of local brews, the food is a step above most bar food and chains like Cheddars. Service is decent, people are friendly. It's a comfortable place. The cheese curds were incredible- my kid was sorely disappointed when they all got eaten. The bartender knows their business and crafts a great cocktail. My amaretto sour was great, the blood and honey wheat beer was great.My sister and I got the fish and chips and she fought me over my green beans- everything was so delicious, I just wish the actual restaurant was a little cleaner or at least a little less sticky. read more

Being a former server, having a party of one can be tough knowing that your tip might not be as high as a four top, however, the server made me feel at home and recommended a delicious Cobb salad. Was in Fort Smith this past week visiting family and decided to try this place out because of the Yelp rating and reviews. To say I wasn't disappointed would be the understatement of the year. I tried the chicken fried steak and, seriously, one of the best I've ever had. This place impressed me so much, I went back the very next day. I live in Santa Fe and was surprised to see a Hatch green chile burger on the menu... very impressive indeed. I wish I could've packed this place up and moved it back to New Mexico with me. A few days into our epic I-40 trek, Husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Sunday. The food was tasty and our waiter, Don, was the best. Don gave us great service, and handled my husband's dietary restrictions (gluten-free) so well. Seriously, he's a pro. Husband does not always enjoy trying unfamiliar restaurants; when you have serious dietary restrictions, it can be a bit nerve-wracking. But Don was great. He offered right away to verify with the chef the item Husband wanted could be made gluten-free. (Thank you! Seriously, you would not believe how many waiters just say they don't know and then he has to ask like... "Um... Can't you find out?") And Don was thorough, making sure to check the salad dressing and sauces, not just the obvious stuff (like bread). Husband ended up ordering a bunless burger and a salad with Brown Derby dressing. (The Brown Derby dressing is so so good!) The fries are not Celiac friendly, since they are fried in a shared fryer. Being the resident gluten-eater of the marriage, I ordered lots of fries with the Pork on Pork Sandwich. The food was really tasty, and I also liked the local-focused beer list. Being from our of town I love to check out the local restaurants. This was recommended to me from across the street and I could not have been happier. Our waitress, Mary, was absolutely wonderful! I told her I had a dairy allergy and she let me know everything that might be an issue and even ran back into the kitchen to check on the ingredients of one of the sauces for me. We had the sweet potato fries with the spicy caramel sauce and they were phenomenal. Mary suggested we get the meatloaf and that it would be a big meal, it was amazing and huge! I ate half at the restaurant and took the other half home for leftovers. It warmed up beautifully and was a great sandwich later! The bacon wrapped around the meatloaf was perfect, I could cut it anywhere with a fork and the flavor was great. I also really enjoyed that they pan seared each slice of meatloaf to give it a nice crisp. The sauce was amazing and the mashed potatoes were a great blend of creamy and chunky. We told our server we were going to share both items and she served us the burger on 2 separate plates with a large amount of fries on each. We could have left full after eating the 1/2 burger but we then takled this huge salad which the server had brought an extra plate for. Everything tasted super good and we feel we made the right restaurant choice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on the service is because our server took our plates away when we weren't finished with our fries. She whisked them away so quickly we didn't even realize they were gone. I'm sure she would have brought us more if we had asked. read more

I've eaten regularly at this restaurant for years. I went last night and was surprised at how bad the experience was. At one point, we were basically yelled at by the hostess because we were not agreeable to being seated at a table that was obviously not ready for people to sit at. It was dirty and was missing chairs. There were two clean tables right next to the dirty one and it was almost a fight to convince her to let us sit at a clean table. And then she tried to publicly shame us as she was leaving us. Also, we learned later after checking in, that the reason we had to wait 20 minutes for a table was that they were out of clean silverware. Not the type of thing that happens to well run restaurants. It was just a strange experience all around. Disappointing. I don't know what's going on, but it needs to get corrected soon or their business is going to dramatically suffer. Hope management/ownership gets it fixed soon. read more

This is definitely the best restaurant in all of Fort Smith. At the heart of downtown, it is always beaming with positive energy and emitting the most delicious smells- I get hungry just walking up to the door. The atmosphere is phenomenal, including a great patio, friendly servers and active management. The food is unbelieveable! I just had the sweet potato fries covered with bacon and a delectable, sea salt caramel and chili sauce that was utterly to die for. I had a bite of my boyfriend's amazing bleu ribbon burger and his peanut slaw which really takes coleslaw to the next level. My entree when we went was a Cobb salad. A staple to any American-pub like this one but bricktown's stood out for sure. Crafted perfectly with homemade dressing! We wandered in here after a trip thru the Fort Smith Historic Site. We were just looking for a bite to eat and Bricktown was across the parking lot. But what a great experience. Service was tremendous, food portions more than generous, selection was huge and everything tasted great. We've been here before for my birthday! We came back because it's close to a park that our kid now loves! We love the local beers, and the food is amazing! I had the pork on pork sandwich both times we were here and I love it! One thing that we did notice the second time is that the girl (who I thought was a hostess) who served us our plates (not our waiter) had a red nose and seemed sick- we could hear her sneeze throughout the restaurant. I work in food service and know that when I appear sick, it's bad for business. Let's not touch people's plates when we visibly look sick, okay?
