View from the outdoor patio..breath taking in summer!
    Maegan G.

We had such an enjoyable girls night out on the outdoor patio for the start of the summer 2024 season! We ordered 3 speciality pies and loved them all, but the pesto was by far our favorite. Jamie provided incredibly great service! Be sure to order an extra side of the chive sour cream dressing on the side for the mashed potato pizzas.

Had a delicious meal at Brickyard Hollow while staying in the Flagstaff Landing lodge! Only managed to take a picture of the incredible Brussels sprouts but also enjoyed the pizza and beer flight. Would return if in the area.

We came back! And the food was even better than last time. Unfortunately they are very understaffed and as a result the wait is a little longer- but it's so worth it. We had three different pizzas, the hummus plate, the curry bowl! The build your own pizzas were great. We also got the goat cheese and peach pizza and it was delish. The crust is amazing. The hummus plate is a little random- especially with pickled asparagus and just slices of Munster. The hummus tasted freshly ground and love Boursin. But a little random - not enough pita on the plate. Not sure if I would get it again. The curry bowl is good, but there could be more curry flavor. Still a great option on a cold night. Still will come back again and again! Great little spot

The ladies highly recommend so here I am. Ample parking and easy to read signage from the road, they are handicapped accessible. We sat at the bar with our backs to the door. Atmosphere is rustic with two seating areas, one for larger parties. Drink specials menu came with regular menu and specials. I ordered the House Margarita with Blueberry. The ladies had seltzer and a beer. We ordered the Smash burger, the Roast Beef melt, and the Ramen. There was a chalk board hanging on the wall which had the meat and fish options for sale! So they do sell meats and fish but are more of a restaurant! Got it! The food came out in a timely fashion and looked great! The Ramen especially looked delightful! My Roast Beef melt was good. A bit greasy but that's to be expected with melts, cucumber salad was delicious, the fries were crispy and tasty. Smash burger was Huge and very delicious or so I was told. Bartender was wonderful making sure we had what we needed as well as providing drinks for the wait staff. Everyone was having a nice meal on a rainy Saturday in September. I definitely will be back with my husband when we drive over from Rangeley. May even grab some Game sausages.

Brew the Coop Newish…read more(ca. 2019) Brewpub located in the heart of Downtown Rangeley that's located in a historic (ca. 1912) tavern. Not only do they sport their own brews, but they have a killer brick pizza oven to boot. The Good: *Huge outdoor space but oddly they don't have any coverings, like umbrellas, to keep you out of the sun. *Great views of the lake and people watching. *Service was friendly and pleasant (see below) *Nice selection of their own brews and other micro and macro brews on-tap, as well as fermented grapes, as well as a full bar. *Tater Kegs were delicious and a very unique item; if cheese and ham stuffed tater tots doesn't get you torqued up, then it's time to turn in your foodie card. *Bison burger was excellent and cooked perfectly medium. The concomitant brioche bun and bacon jam really sealed the deal, as well. The fries were pretty bomb, too. The Meh: *"No Pet Policy" is kinda wild, but kinda ubiquitous here in Rangeley. Which, to tell the truth, is sorta strange because it's usually rich people who like to schlep their dogs around and what do rich people like to do? Ski, boat, and fish--three things synonymous with Rangeley. Interesting, eh? *Interior isn't as big as it looks from the outside, but is still fairly ample. *They seemed overwhelmed on our visit and very short-staffed, as the food took a looooong time to come out. Fortunately, we were in vacation mode--and I had a beer in-hand--so it was all good on our end, but if you're looking for a quick meal, this might not be it. The Ugly: *The fact that they actually have to have a "Bee Policy" (see pic) is crazy. If I have to explain it to you, then you're part of the problem. *Their "website" (aka The Facebooks) is kinda funny place to be posting people with their dead deer carcasses. 0_o Conclusion: A couple of iffy deals here, but the food was fantastic--and that's what matters.

We shared appetizers (tots, truffle fries, pickle chips) and then some pizzas. Pizzas were creative and larger than expected! We had plenty of leftovers for midnight snacks. My favorite was the blueberry pork pizza. It was an unexpected pizza combo, but it works!!! Drink selection is vast! I had a canned blueberry sour and I was super pleased. I will say we asked for water when we ordered drinks, and again when we order meals and we never got them. I understand we were a bigger group, but it would have been a perfect experience if we could have gotten water with our meal. I liked this place! I'll come back the next time I'm in Rangeley and try more pizzas.

What we had, instead, over the course of a few visits: four different pizzas, three different salads, a few sandwiches, and lots of different beers. The pizzas were made with a thicker-style crust, I guess what might be called Greek-style in CT: thicker than a NY-style crust, thinner than a Chicago-style crust, and middle-of-the-road glutinous. Toppings were in good balance, a not-overly-sweet tomato sauce topped with just the right amount of cheese in our view. Pepperoni comes in wide strips cut from sandwich-sized slices, and versions we ordered with peppers or olives came with a fair amount of each. Our contingent of pizza snobs enjoyed, but did not love these pies. Sandwiches were pretty spendy, but appeared to be nicely filled, e.g. with chicken salad or deli meat, cheese, and veggies. The primary consumers said they were "okay." The three salads we tried (Cobb, beet, and King's Bag) were weak: so wimpy and mediocre for the price. (The ones down at D'Ellie's were far better!) I would emphatically not get these again. A few of our beers tasted as though they'd come from taps that hadn't been properly cleaned in a while. (Others were fine.) We hear there's a robust apres ski / evening scene here at times.... and the restaurant sure smells like it! It sounds like this restaurant has some strengths, which I guess we didn't quite hit. I'd come back with friends for apres ski drinks -- but probably not so much for the food (unless those drinks need absorbing).
