    Vegan Menu!!
    Sensi V.

Update to the update - Picked up my pie: peppers, onions, black olives and meatless crumbles. Don't forget the crushed red pepper. I prefer to stick with fresh veggies only on pizza, but will try the vegan sausage next. Probably won't get the crumbles again. Note, they do use daiya, so if you're not a fan, ask for a small amount of daiya or none at all and add your own plant based cheese at home. I did that on one order and added more plant based mozz and kite hill ricotta at home and next day it was so killer- that NY - next day - cold or reheated pizza - the bomb. Vegan menu included in this review. Updating to 5 stars for the vegan pizza. I so appreciate a local spot that can deliver a vegan pizza that tastes delicious. Even the non-vegans were satisfied :)

If this looks undercooked and doughy that's because it is. These became raccoon food. The rest I cooked in my oven to a decent crisp.

They fell off. Their first year open they were good and I had high hopes but the last few times I tried this place it fell flat. The final straw was ordering 3 meals and one plain pizza pie and the pizza was so undercooked and doughy I was in amazement. Seriously if you are a pizza place and you place an undercooked regular pie in a box and give it to a customer then you might as well start looking on career builders for new employment because it is only a matter of time before you close up shop. Sorry you jumped the shark. You are a pizzeria that can't make and cook a pizza properly. As for the meals? Who cares they ruin pizza.

Lovely staff and great food! Tried the bone in wings, garlic knots, and burger. Very tasty!

He also forgot my pickle which I asked for on the way out the door and is included with every sandwich. The place is empty and non inspiring. Definitely prepare for the shift of the boards. Walked in and it REEKED of cigarettes. It's always kind of dark in there, so it was just a dingy vibe when you add smoke. That said, I still got a sub - they've definitely slimmed down recently, but damn it was tasty. I also got a pint of the red hot pickles, which aren't that spicy, but still tasty. The owner was nice enough, I wouldn't say friendly, but didn't snarl at me. I do find it funny that none of the subs seem to have pickles on them, considering it's a pickle place! ‍ Here's hoping he fixes the porch, maybe spiffs up the place a little, and stays open for a long time - because the subs really used to be good!

Walking in we were seated promptly though we immediately noticed that the interior was extremely dark. Not a big deal but worth flagging for older folks who might have a hard time reading. Our server was friendly and relatively attentive and walked us through the menu. We started off with some classics including their bread and butter (which was tasty and delicious) and ordered their P.E.I Mussels ($19) along with their Fried Brussels Sprouts ($15) to share. The portions were quite large for everything (great if you're in a larger party) but we immediately noticed that the mussels they served seemed a bit off. Many of them were not opened all the way (a sign that they might not be the freshest or recently passed) and had a bit of a fishy taste to them. We ended up not finishing them and flagged them to our waiter. The other items, including the 14oz Ribeye ($43) and baby back ribs ($28) were better, though a bit one-note. The bay back ribs in particular were extremely saucy and the corn bread was dry and a bit tough to eat. I had to use a knife to split it apart as it kept crumbling every time I used a fork. Regardless, it seems like a popular spot for a reason and perhaps we just went during more of an off-night. I'd still recommend checking it out but avoiding the mussels if you go.
