Went here for brunch recently, and found it to be very cozy inside. The ambience was lively and joyful. I had an omelette with home fries and a salad. They were out of home fries, so substituted french fries. The service was OK. I found the staff a little bit unfriendly, even though I was sitting right at the bar in front of them. They were much more friendly with people that they seemed to know. Overall, this is a great place to grab a drink or brunch. The food and the vibe are good.

There are a bunch of places to dine in Saugerties and on Partition Street. Luckily, we made reservations ahead of time. The place was packed and we watched walk-ins get turned away. Granted, it was a Saturday night (6pm) on Labor Day Weekend, but we know the real reason; Miss Lucy's has great food. The place is a bit loud, so we concentrated on the Menu/Scene/Food. They started us off with a FREE Bread Basket; a unicorn these days. Split a Kale Caesar to start. Definitely not my go-to, but the Pickled Onions, Dressing and Sourdough Croutons added punch to the dish. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was excellent. Juicy and moist, and not at all greasy. Pork Schnitzel was a big portion, pounded thin and full of flavor. The dessert menu was large, and a bit of a challenge to choose just one. We decided on the Sweet Corn & Blueberry Bread Pudding topped with Currant Swirl Ice Cream & Pistachio Streusel Topping. This was excellent ! I need to go back to Miss Lucy's...like 5 more times. One thing I noticed was that the whole staff; Bartenders, Wait Staff, etc were all women. A very good thing to see !

Great food, service and ambiance. Food was delicious and reasonably priced ! My salmon Benedict was great and it came with said salad/ good dressing and fantastic home fries with whole baby potatoes- amazing! Would def return if in the area. Only negative is that when the dining room is full, which it was today, it was very loud acoustically . As people left, the sound was better. Nice menu for brunch.

We nabbed a Friday night reservation here while in town for the weekend. It is located right in the little "downtown" area where a bunch of other restaurants are. Dimly lit establishments with a very moody vibe - perfect for a date night. What we ordered: - Mocktail (not sure what was in it, but I asked for a sweet/tangy drink, and they delivered on that) - Fried Brussels Sprouts (maple gastrique & smoked shallot aioli) - very tasty! We are currently on a Brussels sprouts kick and this one was nicely done - P.E.I. Mussels (white wine, grainy mustard, cream, scallions, shallots & crostini) - literally the star of the night, I would come back just for this. That sauce is so tasty, luckily I saved some of the complimentary bread to dip in it because the crostinis were a little too toasted and hard for our taste - Kale Caesar (sourdough croutons, & pickled red onion) - we added chicken, it was tasty and different with the pickled red onions - Bell & Evans Buttermilk Fried Chicken (house made cheddar biscuit, brussels sprouts & hot honey) - this one was disappointing. The chicken was fried well, crispy and light but it was so bland. It does come with hot honey and that did help but it was just not good taste-wise. The cheddar biscuit was ok - I was thinking it would be more seasoned as well like the iconic cheddar bay biscuits but it was not The waitstaff were great. I asked for some ice to go as we were in an Airbnb and they packaged some up in a zip lock bag for me. I would recommend this place if you're in the area and definitely order the mussels!

Overall, the atmosphere was nice. It was fairly busy for a weeknight when we went, but not so crowded that it felt overwhelming. I always believe the first interaction sets the tone for the night, and unfortunately our initial greeting felt a bit rushed or annoyed, even though we let them know we had an RSVP. That said, the server who took our order was wonderful and really helped turn the experience around. Really enjoyed the appetizers.

Super cute small town restaurant with cool vibe and cocktails. I went with my boyfriend for his birthday and the appetizers, entrees and dessert were all delicious. We ordered a salad, mussels, burrata, chicken rice bowl and the dubai chocolate ice box cake. The waitress is very kind and attentive as well.

3.5 stars We grabbed a quick dinner here with visiting the little town. Ordered the Forbidden Bowl with salmon and the regular salmon dish. They were delicious and the portions were hefty. No drinks - no apps. With tip, it came to $82, which we found a bit steep for the area and the overall taste (though good, as I said.) The bread was indeed very good, but they charge for the second bowl! (We didn't get a second bowl). Also, the service was just okay. The waitresses didn't smile, spoke pretty low and didn't come back to check on us at all. The ambiance was cozy, but the lights were very low, almost making it hard to read the menu.

My wife and I came on a Thursday afternoon. The eating area is quaint and simple. The exposed brick gives it a great vibe. I can only imagine this place on a busy weekend. The service was spectacular. There was only 1 waitress and she was moving so fast. There were about 5-6 tables and she served all of us well. She came 2-3 times to ask how our food was and also refilled our water multiple times. The food was delicious. I was surprised with the portions. I wasn't expecting to have such a big sandwich and a generous portion for the sides. The fried brussel sprouts were delicious. The chicken sandwich I had was not oily and the sauce tied in the sandwich well. I'm not a fan of the peppers but I think that's a personal opinion. All in all this is the spot to eat when you visit Saugerties.

Cute spot to eat in town. We got oysters ($30 for a dozen) as an appetizer which I don't usually get but according to my friends they were mid (5/10). They came with two sauces, a sweet and sour one and a vinaigrette one. The sauces were both very strong. The brisket sandwich ($15) was a hit. A lot of meat on wonderful ciabatta bread. The PLT ($15) was average. The pork was dry and not super flavorful. The fries were slightly above average. Crispy but not enough seasoning. Service was excellent. Overall I would definitely recommend the brisket sandwich. Brisket 8.06 / 10 Overall 6.78 / 10

First off, I love this little town. It's quaint but feels current, and very walkable. We arrived around 430P and had no issues with parking right across the street. Brandon with the aviation shades, was bartending and doing all the things. He was very nice. We ordered drinks and food with him, and he brought our order to our table. We kept the food order simple. I saw another review that you could have a wedding here and I agree. The service was nice-- we had two servers-- one sister training the other? I attempted to order a drink twice-- they had neither in stock-- before getting a Diet Coke. The big area of opportunity here is the food. My husband ordered the scallop risotto, which came... wet. It looked like rice swimming in water-- the flavor was similar, unfortunately. The cook on the scallops ranged widely in the dish. I ordered the salmon-- the cook on the salmon was nice but the quinoa was inedible, as were the veggies it was served with. Our meal was late and it felt like the food was held over from earlier preparations. We got the bread pudding, which was fine-- but the proportion of ice cream to pudding ratio was way off. The restaurant has so much potential but the food is the big problem to solve for, in my opinion.

We'll preface this review by saying that an experience this poor usually starts with ownership or…read moremanagement and trickles down to the staff. Who knows what the employees have to deal with on a day-to-day basis to result in service this bad. We were extremely disappointed with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff came across as rude and unwelcoming. We asked if we could sit at one of the tables closest to the waterfall, and the response was simply, "Well, it's dirty." Mind you, about 90% of the restaurant was empty. We expected something like, "No problem, give us a moment to clean it off." We're very easygoing and would have completely understood waiting a few minutes. Instead, that interaction set the tone for the rest of the meal. We even pitched in to help the bussing staff. When our waitress finally returned, she immediately said, "Oh, you don't have menus? You forgot them. I know I already gave them to you along with your place settings." Apparently it was a set-your-own-table experience. At that point, it almost felt like we were expected to bring our own service as well. The food quality was underwhelming--We've had better charcuterie on a plane--especially considering the prices. Several ingredients that were listed as part of the dishes were missing. When we asked the busser about it, she said she would check with the kitchen, but she never returned with an answer or any follow-up. Honestly, we would have expected the server to check back regardless, but other than taking our initial order, she never returned to our table, even when we tried to wave her over. So yes no one came back after our food was served to ask how everything was, whether we needed anything, or to address the missing ingredients. Once our order was delivered, we were completely forgotten. Good service means checking on your guests, addressing concerns, and making sure they're enjoying their meal. None of that happened during our visit. When we finally approached the manager, the first response was, "Well, did you eat any of the food?" Yes--we each had a couple of bites of the kale Caesar because we were starving, despite it being served without the advertised pork belly, which was the main ingredient. We had already tried to address our concerns in real time, but no one ever followed up. We're far from people who leave negative reviews. In fact, we think this is only the second bad restaurant review we've ever written. The experience was simply that disappointing. Overall, the combination of rude service, poor management, disappointing food quality, missing ingredients, and a complete lack of follow-through made for an incredibly frustrating dining experience. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant, and we won't be returning. The view is absolutely gorgeous, but you're better off grabbing a sandwich somewhere else and enjoying it from the nearby bridge.

Life moved on, his b'day came and went and so did the holidays. And just like that, the moment finally arrived. Long overdue, but worth the wait. Now mind you, we have another Italian restaurant we've been to numerous times closer to us in Woodstock- but they don't compare to the rich and hearty food here. Stepping inside here felt cozy and warm especially with all the snow we've been getting in the Catskills. Even the entrance alone has an old-world charm. From the jump, service was on point. My sangria was potent and hubs' Cosmos, held their own too. The caprese salad starter was a small letdown.
