My consultant was Felicia and let me tell you this girl knows what she's doing! This was my second time dress shopping. My first experience wasn't memorable. So I didn't have high hopes when I came in to Bridal Connection. Boy was I wrong, Felicia greeted us when we came in. We were asked to sanitize our hands and wear our mask at all times. They are doing their part keeping everyone in the store safe. Anyways, I show Felicia a couple of pictures of dresses I've been wanting to try on. They had a couple from my list. I described to her a bit of what I was looking for. She replied with I got a couple more options for you that I think would look amazing on you. I was more than open to her suggestions and we try on the first dress she picked out. I was in love at first sight!!! I tried on a couple more because I couldn't believe that I already had a dress. That first dress took my breath away. She was so patient and always seemed excited to be doing her job. I felt so comfortable and never pressured to buy anything. I finally decided that the first dress was it. I reside in Los Angeles so I was worried about shipping etc.. she explained everything to me... gave me a total price to discuss with my mom since she's the one paying for the dress. This shop didn't make me feel comfortable in the sense that I got zero attention from the owner, only from an inexperienced worker. The only thing they care about is how much you're spending, and if the budget is too low then you're not important and won't even show you a dress in order to figure out what styles you like/ don't like. The lighting is terrible. I don't know how anyone can get a good sense of what the dress looks like. The dress selection is very cramped and the dresses are stocked very close together in plastic bags, making it hard to separate the dresses and pull them out/ see what they even look like. They had a decent selection of good/ well known designer dresses, but again I wasn't even offered to see them because of my budget whereas other dress shops still showed me higher priced dresses to know what I like or don't like. read more

I am so happy I came here! I was totally not expecting to find THE dress on my first day of looking but not only did I find my wedding dress but I got an awesome deal on it too! I had went to another bridal shop before we came here and the other shop wanted to charge me TRIPLE what bridal connection was charging. Amazing service and beautiful dresses! I made an appointment on a Sunday and was the only bride there that day. I have been to several bridal shops and this was the best service that I have received so far. Angelita is AMAZING and was very helpful.She was conscious about my budget and the style that I was looking for. This place set the bar for every other place that I went to and every other dress I tried on was compared to the ones there. She also had great advise about picking bridesmaid dresses. I found 2 amazing dresses and am going back soon to make the final decision:) Every other place that I went to had me go look at their selection and put tags on the dresses that I think I would like. Because all of the dresses look different on the hanger than they do on and all of the styles were mixed in together, I was not sure of the style I was pulling. Angelita took the time to go through the rack with me and got styles that I was looking for. I was pretty open to styles, but I knew mermaid dresses DO NOT work for me. I feel like I wasted so much time trying on all of the mermaid dresses that I told the people at other places that I did not want, but they did not offer guidance to what I was looking for and let me walk aimlessly around the store just pulling whatever. Terrible experience! I had called ahead and scheduled an appointment for bridesmaids dresses for my four bridesmaids. I told them the exact color I was looking for, and they said they would pull dresses that could be ordered in that color. The appointment started out well enough, and most of it went fine until the very end. After about an hour of trying on dresses, all of my girls had finally chosen their style and were ready to order. Then, another sales associate who had not been helping us (I'm assuming she was the manager?) lets us know that those styles, because they have lace, would not be available in the color I wanted. Naturally, I got frustrated and asked why this was never mentioned before. She mentioned that the two girls helping us were new and hadn't worked with this designer before. I was worried that we would have to start the process all over again, when the assumed manager tells us that the dresses would be available in the desired color, but without the lace. I agreed to this, since I was set on the color and not the lace. I calmed down a bit at this point, and we leave the shop under the impression that the dresses had been ordered. Fast forward to a few days later, when one of my bridesmaids calls to make a deposit on her dress. Apparently, NONE of the dresses had been ordered because NONE OF THEM were available in the color I wanted. I was livid. Where was the communication?! What if my bridesmaid hadn't called? I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and incompetence that entire team had. The entire visit was a complete waste of time. I'm normally not one to write reviews, but I don't want another bride who is supposed to be planning the most important day of her life to go through the stress we did because of this bridal shop. Save your time, and try basically anywhere else. We had a great experience at Gautier. read more

This bridal shop was amazing. I had no idea what I wanted and Rafaela helped me find the perfect dress. The shop was so sweet and accommodating. I went with my fiancé and it was important we didn't see each other in case we did find our dress and they made sure it didn't happen even with us trying on dresses right across from one another. Wowwww! I sincerely can't say enough about my experience at Bridal Connection! I stopped by one evening to look at their MoriLee bridesmaid collection and was welcomed by Angelita and her team of fabulous ladies. My expectation was to browse solo since I didn't make an appointment but Nope, I was assisted every step of the way! The ladies were phenomenal with helping me choose the style, material and color of my bridesmaid dresses. I was even provided a free color swatch to help my fiancé match his tie, a simple act of courtesy that was NOT offered at two other stores I previously visited. Angelita, the store manager was extremely knowledgeable and amiable! You can tell she's honest and passionate about helping others. One of the instances that stands out above the rest is when I stopped by 15 minutes before closing to meet and help my MOH select her dress and finalize the order. To make matters worse, my MOH ended up arriving literally 2 minutes before closing because of traffic! Angelita and the OWNER of the store graciously volunteered to stay behind and assist us! After trying on several contenders and selecting THE dress, all while swapping laughable and bittersweet bridal experiences, we realized an entire hour had gone by! That's the type of customer service you don't see everyday! I recently started looking for a bridal salon that offers a pleasing environment and personal service for my daughter's gown selection. Soooo I just did drop-ins. After visiting several that were sorely lacking in customer connection, I found The Bridal Connection refreshing. Viva, the manager, was extremely welcoming and helpful. Needless to say my daughter and I returned with an appointment to preview and try on gowns. It was a great experience for my daughter as the staff listened to her needs and were very kind and not pushy. Let me repeat.....NOT PUSHY. Other salons have not been so. She did find a couple of gowns that really stood out and we hope to return to THE BRIDAL CONNECTION to make a purchase. I hope to report soon that we have a gown! read more

My mom came to pick up my dress since I live in Houston and wasn't able too, it fit perfect the seamstress did a perfect job and she tied little bows under my dress so the train was nice and tucked away for transport. I met with T on Saturday. She was a dream to work with!! My mom, future mother in law and sister had a great morning trying on different styles. She walked us through all the different styles, made great recommendations to accommodate our needs, and really listened to my likes and dislikes for each dress before recommending the next style, as well as our overall budget. I got my wedding dress from Budget Bridal the day they were doing filming for a show that was supposed to air on TV. Because I bought my dress that day on a "Say Yes to the Dress" type show, they gave me little extras. $100 off my veil and 50% off my alterations. The girls were absolutely wonderful and I always had a good time while in the shop. My dress was also stunning. My only knock on points is because there seemed to be a huge lack in communication at the shop. First, when I went in for my alterations (first fitting), the Asian woman doing them yelled at me for being late to our appointment. I had set a 4:30 appointment, got there at 4:36, and she yelled at me because she thought I was her 4:00 appointment who apparently never showed up. I made sure to set a 5:00 appointment for my second fitting and got there 10 minutes early so there wouldn't be any confusion. Second, When my fittings were over and it was time to pay, she said no one had ever told her about my 50% off alterations and that they can't do that because she is a contracted worker... So I had to get that settled. Third was my veil. They showed me two different veils, one with Swarovski crystals lining the veil, and the same veil with the crystals scattered sporadically throughout the veil but without the lining. I told her I wanted the lining as well as the scattered ones. She repeated what I had said and sent in the order for it to be made. When I got the veil in, it only had the lining crystals and not the scattered ones. My husband's cousin had to fix it for me and add in the crystals. That was my last visit with them and I left fairly disappointed because I had made it very clear what I wanted and she clearly understood but it wasn't relayed to the guy making my veil. All in all, I was pleased but it could have gone better had everyone in the store been on the same page. read more

Not only was she a great sales consultant, she was so relatable and friendly. Not at all like other consultants at other stores who are pushy and just looking for a sale. The entire process of looking for a dress, to trying some on, to taking measurements for ordering the perfect dress, to placing the order was great! The new owners of this establishment have no concept of customer service. I purchased a dress from this store and was assured that leaving the dress there until the fitting was complete would be part of the service. I received a call yesterday to come pick up the dress and was told it is my responsibility to contact a seamstress for the fittings. When I asked why, I was told by the New manager they didn't have room to store the gowns. The staff who worked at the store before the new owner took over have left. This store was my last option. I was so impressed with my dress options . I wish I went to this store first. I got two amazing dresses here for the Marine Corps Ball in November. I made an appointment through email and they confirmed and asked me a few details. When i showed up, she confirmed what I wanted and had a few dresses pulled for me already. I appreciated that she explained the price to me with each dress and never pressured me into anything that was over my budget! It was so fun to try on all the dresses and see what styles I loved and which ones I wasn't a fan of. What I appreciated most was that she stayed neutral about me. In the past I felt that consultants would tell you that you look amazing in everything, even when it was clear that some things weren't necessarily right. So I really appreciated that she let me make my decisions. I'll start by saying I absolutely love my dress, and it was exactly what I was looking for in every way. I found a picture of it on theknot.com, I loved it from the moment I saw it, and it was the first dress I tried on. Nothing I tried on after even compared. This is why I was very generous with my review stars. Speaking specifically about Bridal Connection now, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for their fairy tale dress experience. My initial consultant (who no longer works there) was wonderful, very helpful, and sweet. She asked about my wedding plans and my fiancé, was very complimentary about my ideas, and offered resources when I said I didn't have hair or makeup plans yet. It was a bride's dream appointment. I felt wonderful when I left. Her manager (who also no longer works there), however, knew about as much about the store's procedures as I did as a customer. She promised my dress could be rushed to guarantee I could have it altered with enough time for the wedding. What she didn't realize is that Maggie Sottero apparently is not the most accommodating designer and does not offer such services. Ever. Of course, I am given this information a month after my dress has been ordered. My state of euphoria quickly fades to anger. Fast forward 3 more months and the manager eventually found a way to get me a dress by my requested date. I go in, slightly irritated that I was stressed for these past months, to try it on and there's an entirely new staff. Okay, I think, let's just continue the process. Enter new consultant. Let's call her "A". "A" seemed equally as anxious as I was to see my dress. Turns out, it's because she thought she should be in it, instead of the sailor dress and hat she was rocking. My state of slight irritation quickly changes to intense annoyance. She talked mostly about herself my entire appointment and made it very clear that she herself was the most beautiful bride, not me. "I bought this dress. This looked amazing on me. This is a wedding dress, but I wore this to a formal event. You don't go to formal events? I go all the time. Let me show you pictures of me in this." At this point I'm thinking this is her take on small talk, and I'm hoping the seamstress will stab me with a pin so I can quickly have a reason to leave. Unfortunately she doesn't stab me, and I'm forced to stand there another 20 minutes and listen to "A" talk about what she would do if she was having another wedding. Never once does she ask me about my own plans. Dress off, I sprint to the car. Phone rings! My dress is ready. I have to go pick it up. Great! Let's hope there's a staff change again. Nope. Same consultant. She comments on the shape that my dress gives me, then points out her own fabulous shape in her 1920's dress. Ugh. It wasn't just a one time small talk problem. More pictures of herself. She points out more dresses on the sale rack that she herself has worn. I now feel like I should have left a bill for my consulting services since I wasn't the bride at either of our meetings. Again, I sprint to the car, thankfully dress in hand this time. Overall, I was very happy with my dress and got many compliments on it. It's still very obvious in all of their Facebook page photos, that "A" is clearly still the focus in every photo she takes. If you HAVE to go to Bridal Connection, take your maid of honor and just volunteer to do your own appointment. They do, after all, have beautiful dresses. The focus will be on you and you won't leave with a headache from someone talking your ear off about how fabulous their head looks in birdcage veils. Also, get all of their ordering "promises" in writing. read more

i was really excited to try this place for a last minute dress for my daughter . We were lucky to find the perfect dress and when we got home and started alterations we noticed at the bottom of the dress had "SAMPLE "sewed in . We are lucky that my seamstress is amazing and will be able to hide it. i just really wish i was able to see it or was told it was a sample dress and had wording on it that was permanent before i bought it because all sales were final. read more

I walked into my appointment with my 2 bridesmaids and they already had dresses set aside for me in the dressing room to try on. Tried on the first dress and fell in love with it. I found Bridal Connection along with a few other bridal shops on The Knot. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. I remember Amanda out of all of the girls! She is so sweet. Happy to say I found a dress I fell in love with. I will recommend finding your own seamstress....someone you trust and can communicate easily with. Do not settle on the shops seamstress Jennie. Although a sweet lady, she was a little difficult to work with considering her lack of English language. She is also a bit pricey....She took longer than she said she would on alterations. I even went for an appointment and my dress was the exact same way it was when I had left it there and it was supposed to be completely done and only lacking a hand sown belt. But there was still no work done to it at all...Other than that Bridal Connection is a great place to find your dress! Great environment. read more
