If I could rate a 0 star than I would. They waste your time. They accept insurance but than two days before your appointment that you have waited on for 6 months (after 2 reschedules) they wait until you show up to the actual appointment to tell you that none of the dentist there are in network. What a terrible place. This has happened 3 times. So they waste your time. I do not recommend this place. Not at all. Vileta, receptionist,gave terrible customer service too. I called to make an appointment and when I made the appointment the person on the phone said it's free exam and xray. Well when I got there they wanted me to pay for it and I was like the lady said it's free so why am I paying for it if I'm a first time customer she said you must've called the call center and I said the sign on the window even says free exam and xray. hours ago New I was given this dentist office as an option for a pre-employment dental exam for an international assignment on a military base I am on-boarding for. I arrived and presented the paperwork that was given to me by the agency that was organizing a pre-emplyment medical to the front desk assistant. I was then ushered into an xray exam room. The male tech that was to do the exam asked in broken english if I spoke spanish. I do not and he didn't speak english at all from what I could tell throughout the xray exam. He placed me in a xray instrument that rotated for a full mouth xray. After several tries to operate the machine he was unable to get a result that worked for him. He fumbled about trying to get me placed correctly and conducted several xrays but was clearly not trained in that procedure. After seversl attemps he gave up and took me across the hall to a second exam room where he then proceeded to take 18 slide xrays of all my teeth. He fumbled around with the slide insertion several times and was unable to get an acceptable image and caused great discmfort and actually caused my gums to bleed at one point with his rough placement of the xray slide. After a total of 18 attempts he apparantly was finally satisfied with what he had taken. He then escorted me to the exam room where another tech (female) checked the slides, and was apparantly not satisfied with what the xray tech had taken. She proceeded to take me back to the full mouth xray machine and complete a full mouth xray yet again. Apparantly this attempt was successful. After the multitude of xrays I was placed back in the exam room and the Dentist on duty completed my examination. Once this exam was completed I was released back to the waiting area to out-process. The front desk attendent gave me a receipt and all the paperwork I had presented to her upon my arrival. I informed her that the form I had presented to them upon my arrival was to be sent back to the organization that had arranged this exam for pre-employment. She made a copy of the form and stated that she would submit my exam results and the form back to the pre-employment organization. I stated that this was to be sent as soon as possible as they were waiting on this form in order to expedite my on-boarding process in order to mobilize me abroad. I received an email a week later from the pre-employment organization stating that there had been no contact from the dental exam office. I drove over to this dental office and they informed me that the organization had just contacted them and they had submitted. I verified that was the case. They had actually let that exam sit on their desk or wherever for a solid week which has resulted in me being delayed a week from mobilizing for my onward deployment. As I was walking out the door the front desk girl made a comment that she had sent this exam result last week, which we both knew was a completely false statement. All and all this visit and experience at this clinic was a completel disaster from the moment I entered this establishment. I've been seeing dentists for 60 plus years but never have I experienced incompetence such as this in a dental clinic. Totally unacceptable operation. read more

I've been coming here ever since we moved from our old house and didn't want to drive almost an hour for kiddos dental care/ortho. Dr Mihai is very gentle and friendly, so much so that I don't mind letting my kids go back alone but I always ask them before hand. Faith the receptionist is also very kind and accommodating! I always get smiling faces when we come. So glad I found this place! Being 4 minutes from our home doesn't hurt either! read more

I have to write a negative review for Bident Dental at the Crestway location. They wrote the day of my appointment on the appointment card for Saturday, August 5th at 11am. I received 2 text messages to confirm I will be there. I arrived at 10:45am and it's dark inside. Othe people started to arrive. I left at 11:30 am....no one ever showed up. Didn't bother to even provide me with a call. Nothing. So sad. read more

I was a patient there I had got told to take off my necklace when getting a xray for my teeth. I got checked out told I had cavities and need filling , I got taken to a room to sit holding my necklace in my hand still at this point Dr. Travarez didn't do so well on numbing i felt so much pain after 5 fillings I had felt so bad and just wanted to leave and i forgot my necklace on the chair, then the next morning right when they opened I called to tell them and let them know I was going to retrieve. They said there was no necklace so I asked for them to look at the camera but they said they can't when I asked aren't yall supposed to clean after a patient they said yes but there was nothing. I had got told to wait a week for it to come up and in a week I called was on hold for 30 minutes and when they said there was still no necklace I asked for the manger they said she's not there call in two days when I called again I was on hold for 30 minutes again and told she was busy to give me her number and she would call me. She never did I was respectful through all this that necklace meant the world to me long story short they will most likely take your things if left there bc necklaces don't disappear be careful!! read more

This place is horrible I pay good money out of pocket for my daughter's braces. She continuously complains that the orthodontist is super rude and gets anxiety every time her appointment comes up. On top of that, they are all over the place rescheduling my appointment after the fact that I'm already there. This is so inconvenient and unprofessional. I have had to worst experience with this place. What I thought was going to a convenient location turned into a nightmare. Every single time. I have three children that I assigned to be seen by a dentist and I've had an issue every time. First, I would like to address the front desk staff, they are incredibly rude and unprofessional. The wait times are super ridiculously long. I even seen a patient that got there after us be seen before my children's scheduled appointment time. Lastly, the Doctor said my children had cavities which needed to be filled, once I assigned my children to a new Dentistry, the doctor said she didn't have any cavities that needed to be filled at all. Went for a check up last week because I broke a tooth off. The care I received was outstanding. Compared to my previous dentist I felt like I was a patient and not just a business opportunity. Everything that was done was explained to me and the charges for the work to be done were clear and concise. Nowhere near what my previous dentist would have charged. Went for my cleaning today. Janell was extremely rude to me. 40 min late(understandable) but then proceeded to call me by my first name, mispronounced it (not a problem) gave her my full name. She seemed agitated after I told her My full name. She then proceeded to shove the Xray tool in my mouth. I asked for another tech. Saving grace..new tech was friendly and sweet. I'm in the middle of the road on this one. I took 3 kids under 3 years of age to their first dental appointment today .... The front desk is Horrible and it took an hour to be seen even though I made the appointment a month ago and I arrived on time..... do you think 3 toddlers have the patience for that if adults struggle with that.... JS Once we got to the back the kids were terrified and while the Dr didn't have the ability to work with kids the staff did their very best to keep them happy and help this tired mom. Conclusion: replace front office all together and get some staff comparable to the hygienists in the back because they were amazing read more

This place is a total scam. I went for a routine cleaning for the first time here. I have gotten routine cleaning regularly with no issues from my dentists. Here, I was told I needed "deep cleaning", as well as gum defense, all for the price of over $1000! They wouldn't even do a routine cleaning if you are told you need the "deep cleaning". Such frauds. I definitely reported them to my insurance company. The dentist was so rude and dismissive, as a doctor myself, I was appalled. Front staff and dental assistant were very courteous. read more

Normally, I would choose a dentist near my area, but my teenage daughter needed an oral surgeon who could schedule around her crazy schedule. Many in our area (Permian Basin). could not. In fact, many dental offices I called wanted a large sum to do their own x-rays instead of using the ones already done. So, I looked online for a dental surgeon. I found that Brident has many locations, one being near another daughter's home in San Antonio. The person who booked the appointment by phone was very polite and helpful. The receptionist was extremely busy but took the time to patiently answer my questions. The professionals who worked with my daughter were kind and compassionate. This place is totally unprofessional and has no empathy or ethics, they kept postponing our dental appointments. Not only did they not care of our severe pain they kept pushing the visits to another day or other location within their network for over a month ! On the final try today 4/22/23 they tell us the appointment was not going to happen upon arrival!! The supervisor in charge as she stated by the name of Yearly T. said that's all was gonna happen , no choice ! She sucked big time !!!! She tried to deflect the blame saying that the corporate office is in California and they make too many appointments without checking with them locally and they just have to cancel and she is the one that does it ! I told her but you don't cancel a patient in severe pain at the time they walk in the door to the dental office , What's wrong with you ?!! Brident Dental is horrible. It's super hard to schedule an appt and once you do go in for your appt they only do a oral assessment and make you schedule another appt to get whatever work is needed. They are very inconsiderate of other peoples time. If I'm telling you what's wrong when I schedule my appt then you should alot enough time on your schedule to take care of the problem right then and there so I don't have to take off another day from work. This is after they canceled my appointment last week on an hour's notice (on 7/6/2022), blaming me for the cancelation (I initially called the Brident hotline, not this office directly, which hinders their process, I guess.) For today's appointment, when they canceled last week, they offered me a time tomorrow (7/13) yet sent me a confirmation email with today's date (7/12) at a different time, which, again, i arrived to early only to wait. Came here in August with tooth pain, was told I needed a root canal. Had to fight them for the pain medicine I needed after the procedure, but they got the job done. This time, three hours later, they had problems pulling up my insurance still. I went back because they did an okay job, and had the same dentist. She cracked a handfile in my root while giving me a root canal. Now I have to see a endodontic. Also the ladies in the front that just sit around are slow, abnoxiously giggly & unattentive. Very impressed with this office! After not seeing a dentist in years came here and I could not be happier I did. Every individual I spoke to made me feel comfortable! I was worried about getting 3 cavities filled but it was a piece of cake and could barely feel the needle to numb the areas. All 3 were done in 45 minutes and I was out the door! It really does make such a difference seeing a smile when you walk in somewhere and I've had nothing but smiles and positivity the past 2 times I've been in so thank you for that! read more
