We've used Luxury Movers twice and were happy both times! This time, we had a TON of stuff and requested 4 movers. All 4 movers were super efficient and worked in sync with each other. Good peeps! Don't expect a lot of chatting, they are there to get the job done and they even hold each other accountable regarding timing. I was joking with one of them and another subtly tapped his "wristwatch" to him. Wasn't rude at all! I liked that they were respectful of our time/money. It was hard for me to stay out of their way while they were packing and loading because they were working in every section of the house, luckily this meant I was able to get a few other things done outside while they did their thing. Unloading was a pleasant experience, and they were gracious about our requests to switch items to different rooms. Yana was our point person this time and she did a great job hustling and managing the team. We were expecting our cost to be higher, so we walked away smiling for many reasons. Yana and her partner were amazing! I was able to get on their schedule within a few days, they were responsive via the app, on time, and extremely efficient! I was getting new flooring so used them twice, once to disassemble and move furniture into the garage, then to move everything back into the house and reassemble after the flooring was finished. Not only were they friendly, professional, and super fast - but they were very careful with everything. We weren't planning on getting movers but decided to do utilize uhaul's load/unload service and it fell through at the last minute. We spoke with Yana the day before our move and decided to book them and we are so glad and thankful we did! Their prices are so much better than other quotes we got, considering it was a team of 4 instead of other companies who provide 2 movers. They were extremely quick, hardworking and professional. We don't have many fragile things but nothing was damaged, everything made it well, and we were just so impressed with how hard they work! In 3.5 hours they pretty much moved 85% of our things. The other 15% weren't even packed yet so they moved everything they possibly could! We were getting movers so last minute we were just hoping they could help us move 50% of our things but they well exceeded our expectations. It was a high of 80 degrees that summer day and our apartment was on the third floor without an elevator. The team had some crazy work ethic and handled it like it was no problem! If you're hiring movers, please have your things packed in boxes and organized the best you can. It really helps them, and in turn the move is more efficient and can be completed in a shorter amount of time, which saves everyone time and effort and saves you money! I cannot say enough about how grateful we were to have found them as a fluke! My roommate and I are both injured and moving to a downstairs apartment from an upstairs apartment within the same complex. We had hired some people from Taskrabbit the day before to assist with packing and were cancelled on minutes before the agreed upon start time. Needless to say, not having that additional help we were well behind in our packing when the movers got here. Their team of 3 moved, helped pack and even swapped out a fridge, washer & dryer- all with such ease and efficiency. They moved our 2bd/2ba apartment in 4 hours! I was sure it would take longer due to the need to swap over all three appliances in both apartments. They didn't touch a wall and everything was moved to its new place unscathed. Their service was overall okay but I did not appreciate their behavior. During my initial conversation with Yana, I told her we would be good with 3 movers instead of 4 and hopefully will be done in 3 hrs because we don't have bulky furniture, or appliances to move. On the day of our move, she arrived, explained 'rudely' that this move would take more than 3 hrs, and accused us of misinforming them. She made me feel I was asking for a lot. (It eventually took us 4.5 hrs to complete the move with 3 movers) Please try not to stress out your customer on the moving day unnecessarily! The size of a move is very subjective. Please have better communications with your customers. Ask more questions!! Giving 4 stars because they were careful and efficient once they started packing and moving. Excellent job! Scheduled a move about a month in advance and went with luxury moving. The process for scheduling and getting the deposit done was painless! The 3 stars instead of 5 is a result of the value. I was given an estimate of 3 hours for moving a 1 bedroom apartment (800 sq for). When the team of two arrived I knew things were going to take all day. The team was slow and took an hour break in the middle of the move when I only had an elevator and losing dock reservation for a set window of time. They absolutely took care of all my belongings with care, but I've also had another team of movers move the same contents in 4 hours in the past, this team took 7.
