Absolutely not worth the price. I didn't read the size of the pizza before actually ordering so I was in shock when it was delivered. For 70$ we got the carnivore, margherta and breadsticks with beer cheese. 12$ service fee, 5$ delivery charge and I tipped 10$ to the driver. The pizza was good but hard to pull apart, same with the breadsticks. The beer cheese was fantastic though. This will not be a place we get again though. read more

But they aren't following COVID guidelines at all - man who appeared to be the manager wasn't wearing a mask at all, weren't enforcing guests wearing one, half the kitchen staff had the mask below their nose, they don't have any kind of system to keep people from sitting in tables so there's no social distancing (I.e., we sat at the end of a booth row so the middle booth was empty and a customer sat there; most other places have signs at certain tables saying not to sit there). Makes sense why they've added a legal disclaimer to the door about how they aren't responsible if you end up with COVID-19 as a result of eating there. read more

We went there on a warm Friday night and the place was packed. I highly recommend making a reservation for the weekends. The food was delicious, I had the margarita pizza that was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was great and my friend had the Italian salad that she said was great and was huge. My coworkers are obsessed with this place for pizza. I have had their gelato and appetizers during Taste of Peoria Heights before. I was not too impressed but wanted to actually try dining in. Interior was clean and contemporary, and we were seated right away despite them being busy. Service was fast, polite, but not good about checking on refills. They had 2 single all gender restrooms. Relatively clean but both soap dispensers required multiple pushes to get a little bit of soap out. The soap seemed full so the dispensers probably need to be replaced. Prices are high but typical for this area. Meatballs were delicious! Great sauce and flavor. The breadstick on top was bland and slightly burnt. Had to mask the taste with a bunch of marinara sauce. I ordered the Carnivore specialty pizza with a $4 cauliflower crust. The pizza itself was delicious. Quality meats, cheese, and tasty sauce. Cooked well until you got to the crust. DO NOT get the $4 gluten-free crust or cauliflower crust. The crust was not just charred, but burnt. Flavorless and ruined. I cannot believe I paid $4 extra for something burnt. I mentioned it to the server who claimed the crust comes that way because otherwise it would be undercooked. If it cannot be prepared correctly, why even offer it? Undercooked or burnt are your only options? That is unacceptable especially for an up-charge. The manager stopped by our table and said the cauliflower crust just looks that way and it is not burnt. It was definitely burnt because it tasted disgusting ruining the pizza experience. My friend just had a regular crust, and it looked and tasted fine. I was still charged the $4 for the burnt crust and the manager seemed indifferent about his subpar product. Even though I would not come here again, I do recommend you trying it for yourself. Crust aside, the pizza was delicious. But with such high prices and mediocre service, there are better options in Peoria. "your group is not welcome in the establishment" stated by the owner after we made a decision to leave because they would not make any sort of exceptions to their policies. We made last minute reservations for a large group and asked if they could accommodate us. They recited a policy to us, to which again we asked if they could accommodate us or not, which they said they could. They sat us all outside, 97 degrees out, never once asked if we wanted in or out for seating, and cited their reservation policy covers both inside and outside seating. They refused to make any amends or exceptions by just being able to split checks. They lost out on a table of 22. If I could give this 0 stars I would. If you can't accommodate, don't take the reservation. Be honest and up front. I'm sure the owner will delete this. The owner could have had $800 in business tonight. The waitress tried to work with us, but the owner refused. It's the customer's perception that matters. read more

My wife and I went to this restaurant last night (4-14-23). It looked like they were having a busy Friday night, but they seated us -- without a reservation -- in about 10 minutes. It took longer than usual for our server to come over to take our drink and appetizer order. My root beer float was wonderful (even though the spoon was short and there was no straw). The appetizer arrived in about 10 minutes and was spectacular! Our pizza orders were taken but did not arrive until we were sitting for 65 minutes. They were scorching hot... right out of the oven! And they were the WORST pizzas I've ever seen or tasted. Other than the sauces, the ingredients were piled in the center of the dough which kept the bread underneath from cooking. So the outer crust was nice and crunchy, the next 2-or-so inches were perfectly fine, but the rest was limpy, almost-raw dough. How does a pizza restaurant not know how to properly cook pizza? I think we'll stick with Domino's for properly cooked pizza in the future. read more

Do not go to Brienzo's wood fire pizza in peoria heights. Their staff including management is super poor and disgusting in behavior. One staff member decided to follow 2 girls on two separate occasions to the bathroom which is a secluded area from the main part of the restaurant to ask if they had boyfriends. This is inappropriate and very scary especially with all that goes on in today's world. Also don't leave a review stating what happens because then the managers will try to cover it up with a giftcard all to maintain a 4 star review. The manager will also try to direct message you but won't listen to what you have to say nor take responsibility for their employees actions. They will just block you and go about their day. Not to mention they will have staff members falsely claiming you're harassing them, all because they may be upset we didn't tip them more than $75 that we already did. My family used to love Brienzos, all the way back to when they were in Junction City. We preferred the old model better than the new service model as we never were impressed with the service at the "new" location. My last trip is the last time I'll be back. We're done. I had a drink that was empty for the entirety of my meal, no waitress to be seen the entire time we ate. When paying for my bill I asked for a refill in a to-go cup and I was told I would have to pay for it. Am I mad they charge for to-go cups? Not really, although it's a little stingy. I'm annoyed that I got awful service and then they had the audacity to want to charge me extra for it. Brienzos, don't contact me or provide some canned response to my review. Ordered take out pizza and beer cheese breadsticks to go. I got the carnivore pizza as my husband loves meat pizzas. I didn't see the size listed when I ordered, so I was a bit surprised when I got it because it was so small!! (10 inches). It was delicious looking and I was glad I ordered extra cheese cause it looked very cheesy. The breadsticks were seasoned well and the beer cheese dip was very good! I did not get my garlic butter that I paid 50 cents for ! :( the flavor of everything was good, but the pizza was chewy which isn't typical of a wood fires grill. The total was $27.00 . First time attending Good Pizza BUT... Unprofessional waiter to say the least... We were attending the Summer Concert Series at Pour Bros. over the weekend and decided to grab 2 pizzas while enjoying the event. The waiter we had was very rude and unprofessional when taking our order. We were going to eat it inside but when we noticed it was 9:30ish we told the waiter we'd just take it to go (trying to be considerate of the staff because they were closing at 10pm.) We asked the waiter can we have 2 min to look over the menu his response was "you'll need to hurry up because we close at 10pm" we were taken a back but just let it slide to he's probably tired and anxious to get off. When he comes back we give him our order as he's entering it my wife asks can she add pepperoni to her Margherita he didn't respond but clearly appeared to have an attitude, again we let this slide. We proceeded to sit outside at one of the outdoor tables (directly next to the door) for the restaurant while the band was still playing. He walked by us SEVERAL TIMES while attending other tables, I noticed a party of 5-6 that came in few mins after us, they sat inside and was receiving all their food and yet we didn't have our 2 simple pizzas (sauasage/mushroom & Margherita.) Finally it appeared one of the managers brought us our pizzas probably because they had just been sitting in the window. The manager said he asked the waiter who the to go the pizzas were for and where were we, he said the waiter said I don't know I just remember a hat. I had unique tie dye Bulls hat but yet after walking by us at the outdoor table many times he couldn't remember our to go order, really? I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and am very considerate but ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS I just wonder if he rushed the party of 5-6 who sat inside at 9:45ish and was he that unprofessional to them? Lastly, we paid him immediately when we ordered because again trying to be considerate of the time they close and to add insult to injury we still TIPPED him 20%. The total bill was approx 46.00 w/ tip for 2 pizza glass & Chardonnay. Fisrt let me say the pizza was delicious. The crust excellent along with all the topping choices. Once you ordered the pizza came out surprisingly quick. BUT the reason for 3 stars was lack of sevice. Stopped in Friday 3/29 around 12:15 for luch. Firgured it would be busy as it was lunch time. Upon entering the sign said hostess will seat you. Brisk business with quite a few places to sit still. A frazzeled looking waitress actually yelled at us to sit anywhere. After about 10 min. with no one even offering a menu we flagged a gentlemen and asked for a menu. He came back in a few for our order. The table next to us was already there when we arrived but still no one had waited on them and I saw a table of 4 leave as they were never waited on. Please hire more effecient staff-especially peak hrs. We will give this another try and hopefully sevice has improved as this was fantastic pizza. You are charged a 3.5% "Credit Card Convenience fee" for using a credit card. I was charged $3.70. However, I only charged $44.34 to my credit card. The rest of the bill was paid with gift cards. The sales tax in Peoria Heights is already 11%. We don't need another fee added to our bill. read more

came here for a family dinner. we had reservations and a confirmation email. we showed up to find out they did not have us on the list, then sat us after 30 minutes. a waiter did not come for at least 15 minutes. i went to order what i always order, and they inform me that they are out of that on the menu for the night. no big deal, after they leave however, we see two different tables that had been sat after us, one of which has their food being delivered to them with the exact order i was told they were out of. call it fate, call it what you want. i call it a crock a ... you know what. we also ordered a drink 3 or 4 separate times that was not brought out until we were finished eating. whatever. ill come back. foods really good, but this was annoying as heck. read more

The service was good, food always great, however they charged me for a tea that was included with lunch, i noticed the mistake, called them and was brushed off, also noticed they are charging a 3.5% CC, transaction fee, with no mention of it anywhere. It is buried within the electronic bill, that is 2inches large. Wont be going back, i think its despective that there is no mention of it. That is the cost of doing business. I have eaten here twice now and I love the pizza. I never had wood fire pizza before but it was definitely great. Will definitely be back.
