Finally checked this place out and it was cool for a dive bar. The bartender was friendly and the drink prices were nice and cheap.

Since I last posted my review, we have been coming here on Friday nights for Trivia. Our waitress is very nice and we never have empty glasses. It is almost a dive bar, but not quite. They have pool tables and other games also. I like the crowd. Lots of different types of people here just needing to unwind and have fun. read more

Been there for happy hour based on Yelp reviews. Been back about 4 more times in past 2 weeks! Happy hour wing and beer prices are awesome since we are on a tight budget. Went After happy hour last time and prices were still affordable! So glad we found this place! Even at 830 on a Friday night, lots of people eating- smelled good- which is a good sign for bar food. Went in with a couple of friends for some food and drink on a Monday night. The place was fairly dead, and karaoke was just getting started. The bartender/server had a good attitude, and once the music started we asked if we could move to the back, which was no problem. I had the California Burger which, while there was nothing really outstanding about it, was actually quite good. They had a slightly above average beer selection for this kind of place. Would come here again if in the area and looking to chill out, but would probably not go out of my way for it. read more

Great local watering hole with awesome food. In reviewing Yelp for local restaurant we found Brigetts. The fact the description said a great"dive bar" Peaked my interest and took me back to my younger years. Who doesn't enjoy a nice dive bar with awesome food minus the smoke. Brigetts did not disappoint. We were greeted as we walk into the dim light bar and restaurant There were folks playing Pool to the left of the bar. It was a nice and spacious pool room. The floors are polished concrete very nice. Lots of TV's but not overpowering. Our server was great she promptly brought us menus and took our drink order and pleasantly answered a few questions about a few items. Friend ordered their 8oz steak sandwich with side salad, they loved it and the side salad was a meal in itself with cheese, veggies and fresh crotons. I got the western burger with sweet potato fries. Both meals were awesome. Burger is fresh, not frozen and cooked to perfection topped with bacon, onion ring, along with grilled onions and chilies, crisp lettuce and tomato along with a dill spear. Food was perfectly prepared and promptly served. . Service was top notch, food awesome location convenient, nice juke box playing, clean and Smokefree. I will be back and can see stopping by for a to go meal. About 8:00 as we were leaving more folks were arriving. Karaoke starts at 9 on Saturday. We did not stick around for that but I'm sure it would have been fun. read more

Awesome tacos, but I wish they still came one at a time. I wouldn't be upset if they had pizza too... Nice variety of beers on tap, karaoeke isn't as good as it used to be but is still entertaining and free. Cheap. All in all, I'm glad it's my neighborhood bar. read more

It's a tuesday afternoon, looking for some drinks and grub saw this place on yelp thought we'd try it out. Great Taco's I had the carne asada...delicious fresh made to order. Hubby had beef sliders and wings both were good/average for bar food. I got a chance to come back in May 2012. It was still a wonderful bar! I wanted to stay all night, but my friend & I only stayed for 1 hour. Shucks! But I did enjoy myself. Brigetts is a great neighborhood bar. It has a lot of variety. Excellent Happy Hour along with some type of entertainment . Trivia ,Karaoke and even comedy once a week. It's good bar food along with breakfast served all day . Bar staff and servers were fine and would chat with you if they weren't busy. Not many places can you get a HH draw of beer for a Buck! read more

I used to go to Bridgett's when it first opened and for a few years after and it was great! I went with a big group last night and was incredibly disappointed. The waitress was unfriendly and kept blowing us off. Most of our group kept having to go to the bar which the bartender was also slow and unfriendly. The security kicked some guy out then just watched him go lean on my truck and pee (mind you the front faces cave Creek road) where everyone can see. It was such a shame. The food was good and the karaoke guy was great as always but i will never go back nor will I recommend anyone i know to go there either. read more

Wow, not sure what is happening there! I used to visit that place nightly! Now the owner ups and let's 2 bartenders go! Lisa was my favorite, and between her and Kristy brought in many people!! i don't use profanity in my reviews, but i cannot find any other words that can express the hot wings. they are so fucking delicious it's ridiculous. the chicken wing is cooked well, where it gets crispy and is juicy in the middle. there is little fat, you you are actually eating a chicken wing. i pretty much ate everything off the bone. they have many different kinds of sauce you can select, mild to suicide, honey, bbq, and those sweet flavors with heat for any taste you're in the mood for. the hot sauce (the step down from suicide) with the wing itself, created the most delicious hot wing i ever had. it had heat and flavor, without too much of a vinegar taste. i seriously wanted to lick the plate. on wednesday their special is 10 wings for $3.00. the only reason why i did not give this place 5 stars was because of the bartender. the drinks were weak. they use canned juice and red bull instead of the bulk or spout kind, which i appreciate the taste. i went up to the bar and said i wanted to do a shot. i am spoiled and don't know the names of any shots (my regular bartenders knows what me and my friends like and will just randomly make stuff that he knows we'll like). i tell the bartender vodka is ok, no tequila, something that tastes kind of like fruit punch. she rolls her eyes with her hands on her hips and mentions they don't have any fruit punch. i mention that the only thing i can remember the name of is the around the world, and she told me you can't make that into a shot. hahahaha, that's pretty much all i know it as, she was ridiculous. she made this grape and pineapple juice crap that hardly tasted like booze (i saw her pour, it was pretty much just juice). aside from her, the server, who was nice, got mine and my friends drink mixed up. she had a red straw in the one she thought was the raspberry, but the mandarin was made in that glass, so we switched. when i ran out of my drink, i asked for another mandarin red bull and she brought me a raspberry since the red straw was in it. they do karaoke on wednesday and another night i cannot remember. the selection of songs is great. there were newer songs. they had amy winehouse, hot hot heat, panic at the disco, fall out boy, the entire rent soundtrack (which my friend was excited about). the ones i was amazed to see were teddy geiger, ryan adams, and jeff buckley. and if that wasn't all... fuck her gently by tenacious d. my friends and i have wanted to sing this song at our bar forever, they wouldn't even let us sing it a capella. it was so rad to sing it, it was like some great accomplishment. read more

I discovered Brigitts as a neighborhood activist in the area, but I started going in when my ex-husband left me. I wanted a place close to where I lived that I could go to alone to kill some lonely evenings but be safe and not harassed, meaning not a typical pick up joint. I found the right place. The people were friendly. the staff quickly remembered me and what I drank. I loved the karaoke with Terry. But eventually I moved and stopped coming in. for a while. LOL Shockingly, I have re-married. My new husband has his own fave neighborhood bar, but it has recently changed hands. So, we know what kinda change THAT brings. The time was ripe to introduce him to Brigitt's. So, we have started coming in and enjoying the food as well as the adult beverages. LOL LOVE the food! Tacos are AMAZING! Great wings. I gotta thing going with the chicken tenders. Everyone comes here. Yes, there are bikers. And guys in suits. Retirees. College age kids. Just plain ole down to earth nice people.Yes, the ladies restroom is a lil cramped. I try to think of it as quirky. But the place has been busy and in business for years. That has to say something, right? This IS the perfect neighborhood where-everyone-knows-your-name bar. I've come back home and this time I am home to stay. I love this place! Trivia twice a week, karaoke EVERY night, the clientele is always diverse and welcoming. Very laid back and fun any night of the week. We have been going to Brigett's for a few years now. They recently changed ownership and have gone downhill in a burning pile of stench. Their service is awful, the food is burnt and dry, the bathrooms are disgusting. The only redeeming thing about this place are the Friday night trivia hosts. Otherwise, we would NEVER go there. Oh and let's not forget that in the heat of summer the air conditioning was down. We loved this place and are sad that it has become such a pit. We love a good dive bar, but this is just a dive. This place is a good dive bar with a entertaining, supportive, and engaging karaoke crowd. The karaoke DJ, Papa T, is a character in and among himself. While the song books may be a little tattered, you can see the full song selection online. The food is a hit or miss. I come here for trivia and karaoke and generally skip the food, but that's ok. They do serve breakfast all day. They offer giant mugs of good craft beer for $5. read more

The bar itself was great. Service as well. Food was surprisingly nice also. Bartenders were attentive and friendly. The problem was the karaoke. Which is what we drove across town for. I am presently looking for a fun venue for a large fundraiser for our company. As a former kj, i can tell you that there is certain etiquette you should always observe. Keep rotation fair and spaced out; even if they are your regulars (I observed the same girl do a back to back duet/solo and she was not even leaving). You also need to pay attention to when your singer is ending and not stand there bs'ing with your regulars. Especially in a noisy busy venue. The KJs job is to lead the crowd for every singer who is brave enough to get up there. Finally... The system itself is outdated. Not enough speakers and poorly placed. Get a better sound system, train the KJ to be courteous and this place would really be 5 stars. read more

I have been a super fan of this place for over five years. Since the change of ownership it has rapidly slid down hill. The drinks are weak and the food is terrible now. I ordered the turkey and avacodo sandwich. The turkey was tough and dry and the avacodo, tomatoes, and the lettuce were all old and wilted. And it was cold and dry when it arrived. My partner's Baja burger was so sloppy and overly greasy that she couldn't eat much of it. They also charge the same amount for an inferior product. I didn't mind the prices when the quality was there but now it's over priced, sub-standard bar food. There's also a thin layer of grime over the whole place that was never there before. Just not clean. We've started referring to it as Fake Bridgett's. They should really change the name. If you want authentic Bridgett's quality and friendly service drive the extra distance and hit the Tav. It's worth it. read more

I am a regular at Brigetts Last Laugh, and This place is GREAT!! It has Karaoke(HOST EVIL T, Sub Host sPeD), HUGE song selection and its 7 nights a week. The bartenders are awesome and its always a friendly atmosphere. They have a house brew, and the drinks are well priced. If you are looking to have a party, go for a quick drink, meet friends,have dinner, watch sports on the plasma tvs or stay for karaoke this is the best place to go!! read more

I usually love Brigett's. I go there monthly for their trivia and delicious blazin' Asian wings. However, after Saturday night I have really questioned about stepping foot in their again. Our server was friendly but neglected out table a little bit but that I could deal with. I was with friends enjoying a birthday celebration and enjoying some karaoke and a fan favorite was being sung. My friend had stood on a chair to belt out a part and the manager came over and asked her to sit down, which I understand is reasonable the chairs are a little rickety. However, a server, not our server named Mercedes came over not even a minute later and I repeat verbatim "Sit your ass in the chair." Now I am not a server nor in the severing industry however I do not believe that in any situation are you suppose to curse at a customer and treat them like a 3 year old. My friend had already sat down and did not need to be told by some server who can not handle herself in a professional manner. She clearly saw the manager come over and tell her to sit down and had no right to come over and tell my friend to sit her ass down. I notified the manager and she said "You are correct and I absolutely agree with you, I'm sorry and it will be taken care of. She did not ask if we needed anything, if there was something she could do, she just said she was sorry about that and would take care of it. So then the server awkwardly comes over and gives a more than less "apology" and walks away. I then hear that waitress talking shit about my friend and our group to a table next to us. I have never been so angry in my life and have never seen a more disrespectful waitress. At least wait until we leave or do it when you are at home in the privacy of your own friends, NOT WHILE STILL ON SHIFT AND US STILL THERE. We were not rude and if we were being obnoxious or in her words "bitchy, stuck up drunks" (which by the way I was sober) then someone should have talked to us about it. I was more than displeased and I am really debating if I will even step foot into brigett's again. read more
