Took vehicle in for first free oil change. Was told a part was missing and that I needed to come back, was dismissed quickly with any questions. Came back with car, was told the service would take only a few hours, they double checked my number and shuttled me home. 10 minutes before close, I called to check and they told me the car had been ready for a while but as it was almost closing time I'd have to pick it up the next day. Explained that I had never received a call, the person on the phone did not know how long it been ready. I explained that I work the next 3 days, 12 hour hospital shifts. Person on the phone made no effort to assist me. I will now be having to walk an hour to work and back until I can pick my car up in 3 days due to my work schedule. I felt left out of the loop and treated like I was dumb for asking questions. read more

1/5 stars. I took it in after it overheated and they kept telling me they couldn't find anything wrong, they end up doing a coolant exchange and let me know it's ready. I go to pick it up and there's a light flashing on the dash so i have them check it out and it needs a new sensor, while they're looking at it for a second time I notice something leaking and ask them to check it out, it was the water pump leaking. It needed a new water pump. Absolutely ridiculous that I went to pick it up and found 2 things that needed fixed and 1 of them was the reason it was overheating, they don't seem to know what they're doing at all after this visit and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone ever. read more

Unfortunately I left a decent review right after the purchase of my 2023 Yukon. After trading in a 2021 Yukon and purchasing the 2023 it went downhill. After 30 days, I received nothing from my bank which had both vehicles. When I called my bank they informed me that they had just that day received the payoff for the 2021. And Briggs financed me for more than my payoff. So it cost me an extra $214.00 in interest while waiting 30 days to get the payoff not to mention I didn't make a payment that was due, because they should have had this transaction done before it was due. They also owe me $650.00 which they have not sent yet. When I called to question what was going on the finance guy, Cody didn't know and said he would find out and get back to me. Its been 3 days and i haven't heard from them. I would not recommend buying anything from them. read more

I never leave reviews, this is my first one. I graded as a one for many reasons. I felt that I must warn anyone trying to buy it sell a car here at Briggs GMC for the following reasons: 1) The staff is friendly, but, friendly does not equal helpfulness. The staff is very uninformative to new sellers or buyers because they lack the ability to clearly state what is needed from you, the customer. 2) The sales representatives are lazy. I was told that my car had an update and that I will receive a phone call confirming some information about my car. No phone call. I called Briggs GMC and asked about the update and no one knew what I was talking about. 3) Inability to control information. I tried to sell my car twice at Briggs GMC and both times my registration or title was lost. This is a massive mistake and a massive FUCK UP. If important information like a title or registration that has your private information on it is being lost then what else do they miss? Overall, please do not do business at this location or any Briggs store. I would rather drive out of state to sell a car and walk back home than to ever have to deal with this business again. Thought I was getting a good car. The test drive went great, except that the tire light was on. The salesman said he would take care of it and he di. I had to do it when I got home. A week later the check engine light came out. Spent over 4 hours wait for their mechanic to check for a code. They couldn't figure out what was wrong. This is BS. read more

What a breath of fresh air. No hard sell tactics. Instead of running around the lot looking at trucks I can't afford, Benjamin Endicott took us to his desk to locate exactly what I was looking for and in my price range. No finance song and dance. Thank you Shane Merriam in finance. I got bluebook value for my trade in. I'm from California. My brother was a car salesman. This was easy breezy with a touch of southern & Wisconsin hospitality. I identified a transmission fluid leak in my Lacrosse. I took it to the dealership and asked them to check the leak. The techs claimed they identified the issue and after $330.00 charges corrected the issue... so we thought. The next day I noticed the same issues with the car that i originally too it in for and called the service department and was advised to bring the car back in. After a few hours received a call stating that the leak was coming from another place and that it would cost me more to fix. I asked why was this not identified before and they claim it is a totally unrelated issue. They claimed that they did not was the vehicle undercarriage and did not have a Dyno to check for this leak. After a debate with the service manager he agreed to waive the 90.00 service fee which to me is an obvious must do, and would only charge is 220.00 for the repair. Due to my family and is leaving on holiday military leave I agreed to bring it back for the needed repairs a few weeks later upon our return. We took the car back for the repairs on Friday and it was supposed to be fixed today. Instead after calling this morning to check on our car the service rep informed me that they found another leak that is causing the issue, which now cost around $1600 to fix. I asked why had they not identified this as the biggest issue until now and they claim that they could not tell due to the car not being cleaned enough to be able to see. I told the service manager that once again this is not the customers fault or responsibility. I took my car there to be fixed correctly and not just to guess what is wrong with it. After a heated discussion my wife and I took our car and will be visiting other repair shops for this. This had to be the worse customer service i have had. If this is happening to me as a senior Army officer, what kind things are our Soldiers being taken advantage off. I would not reccomend this dealership or service department for any repairs or taking care of you or your family. read more

I purchased a tired from here 2 months ago. Before I purchased the tire I came up to Buick to let the guy take a look at it. He informed me and my granddad that the quote he gave me came with road hazard warranty. I have another flat tire with a nail in it and they are saying it's not fixable. I told them I have road hazard warranty so it should not be a problem. They claim I did not purchase it. This guy Clint, the manager for all of a couple of weeks, claimed it is not their policy to offer the service on a single tire. Seriously?!!! I would never go to Briggs Buick ever again. It was easy to schedule an appointment. There was no wait when I arrived. The hospitality room was comfortable. Before leaving, I purchased a new battery for my key fob, which was installed quickly. The only thing I would change is the availability of coupons. I receive promotional emails, including the one requesting that I complete this survey, but I do not receive coupons for oil changes, etc. read more

Okay so where to start...we walk in looking for a car since a deer decided to completely destroy ours. So we have a set budget which is a pretty good sized budget so it wasn't like we were being those people who want a new car for $10k. We pull up and immediately have a sales associate at the door of the car. He proceeds to tell us he has an amazing deal to show us and brings us to a brand new Buick which was beautiful(now keep this vehicle in your mind cause this is the cause of this review). We look around a little bit at some of the others but none quite impressed us as much as the first Buick, we take it for a test drive and it was under our budget right at $20k and that was a great price so we were fully prepared to sign the papers for this vehicle. As we are sitting in the office he comes back with a price of $27,500, when we tell them that was a bit more than we wanted to spend multiple employees tell us well it's ONLY a few thousand more than you are willing to spend..now we understand the taxes,tag, title and other extras tacked on but the math was a little off. They also proceed to tell us that they can do no better than 9% APR which we had been approved by our bank at 6% APR once finding out we had been approved for that amount elsewhere the manager changes his story to OH we DEFINITELY can do that APR ( so why was your best 9% about 3 seconds ago). I fully understand they have to make money but just don't be an ass. Fast forward to we decide to leave after being lied to multiple times, we get about 5 minutes down the road just to receive a call to say "Oops we had the wrong price it was actually just $22k in the end price. So we would've signed for $27.5 but because we left it ends at that price after multiple employees telling us that it was just a few thousand over our budget. Now $22k was in our budget and if the lying would not have happened they would've made a great sale. After the call saying is was $22k my husband just let them know that we were going to look elsewhere and were no longer comfortable doing business with them they hang up the phone while my husband is talking. So if you like being lied to by multiple people and being taken advantage of then definitely go to this place but I can recommend somewhere 200X better. Just save yourself the bullshittery and go to DEL auto in Junction, they got the sale by simply not being complete and total douche bags. read more

This dealership is useless. I have problems everytime I drop off my vehicle, even an oil change. It's so sad that it's the only GMC dealership in my location. I would love to drive two hours away to get a better experience and some experienced techicans. They don't reset my gages when I get an oil change, TMP service light comes on right after I leave. I recently brought my vehicle in for an electrical problem. The power would go out when driving, I smell burnt plastic to, no control over my gages, service air bag light on, the dashboard goes haywire. I husband explained it and they informed me that it's my battery but it wasn't. They then said it was my Onstar system. They disconnected it and then my check engine light came on. They stated to drive for a week and if nothing happens let them know and they will fix the problem (Onstar) . Guess what, that's not the problem either. The dashboard went haywire again. I called to speak with someone and the next appt isn't until 2 December and they won't be able to look at it until Monday, it's Saturday. They don't provide a loaner or even offered to pay on the rental either. I'm a Service Memember, Wife, and a Mother. I have mutiply jobs but me not having a vehicle is a BIG deal. I'm so pissed at this dealership. I guess I'm gonna have to put my life on the line and drive 2 hours to kansas city to get a better service. I heard the dealership in topeka is under the same management. Mr. Dwayne Miller isn't available, you just get the voicemail. The techican Don Kuhnkuff needs to be retrained. The whole GMC Briggs needs to take another Human Resources and/or Customer Service class. I do love my GMC, I know every car has it's own issues. read more

I wouldn't recommend anyone going to Briggs in Manhattan, KS. My husband recently traded in his truck and leased a new one. They were very nice at first and gave us the rate and the price to match our budget. We were beyond excited! They said if we brought the truck in Saturday they would clean, fill it up and give us the second set of keys (they were missing) since it was a new truck. So we went back the next day and they cleaned it and nothing more. They said oh bring it back and we will fill it. We don't have the credit card or something like that. So my husband brings it back Monday to get it filled and try to get the second key that is still missing. The truck was filled but he still didn't get the key. So he goes back a day or so later and they have the key finally. Ok so we thought we were done with Briggs for a while. Turns out No! Two weeks later Jordan the finance managaer call us and say they put us in the wrong tax bracket (a) and we can only get in a (b) bracket. So our APR would go up unless my husbands father consigned for him! I called and let them know they were totally out of they minds!! After many calls and me basically bitching at them they fixed it and took $2000 off the truck. So we both had to go back and sign for the new paper work. Thinking this has to be the end of all this right? No so the other day I look at the bank account and see that my husbands old truck payment was taken out! Now I'm livid!! Turns out they didn't pay off his old truck yet! And they don't know why or where the check is!!! I lost my mind at that point! Here they are trying to screw us over and have us pay more and then they don't even pay off his truck after a whole month of him having his new truck!!! They agreed to send us a check for the money that was taken out of our checking. But told my husband he needed to pick it up. So if you have been counting we have been to Briggs at least 6 time!! I called and finally talked to Mark (sales associate who didn't have anything to do with our deal) he was extremely nice and agreed that the check should be deliver to us. Needless to say once we get this check we are done with Briggs and will never buy another vehicle from them! I'm sure there are young Military members that would have just paid more and got screwed over but we are very lucky that I have done my research and refused to change the deal after we signed all the paper work.
