BRIGHT ELECTRIC gets better with each visit. This time my pool light went out. First pool company wouldn't change light as electric laws have changed. However they could put in new LIGHT UNIT for $1500. Second pool company said if I supplied the light they could do the job. However when they came out, they said the GFI would not reset, and it had to be replaced. I finally called Bright and Jacob came out. He checked the GFI and said that in order for it to reset there were two other things to check, like making sure power was on, which he did. Guess what, the light is perfectly functional now, with no new parts. EXPERTISE AGAIN. They are the best and I always feel better once they take on the task at hand. read more

They charge outrageous prices. They wanted to charge $250.00 to put in a single pole motion sensor and $250.00 to put in a single pole wall timer. And $279.00 to just switch out a fan that is already wired! I said no thank you. If you have a lot of money to spend, then use them. And when I called, I asked about prices, as I did not want to pay for a service call if the cost would be high. Brie said she didn't;t know, that only the tech would know, but he had to cal the office. They are not very honest. They get money either way and the customer loses out on time. read more

I got Mark's information from my local handyman and gave him a call for a switch of an outlet from 240 to 120, and another outlet fix. Mark was super responsive and got back to me right away and even though he was already tied up on another project for the entire weekend... he got me connected with one of his team members (Gene) to come and do the work the very next day. Gene was super outstanding, friendly, a stand up guy, honest, and professional in every step of the way. He explained to me how the people from best buy had managed to short the outlet and I was fortunate enough not to have a fire break out. He then proceeded to explain to me all of the steps involved in the fix, cleaned up the wiring, and did the other outlet. His job was super clean and pristine and he showed me the end result of everything working properly as it should be. Gene worked fast and was super efficient. I would in a heartbeat use Bright Electric again and would call Gene for any and all of my future electrical needs. We had an electric guy that we always called on but it is hit & missed with long wait and no responses for months. I was looking through Yelp & found Bright Electric. I had three projects hanging over me and the Bright guys gave me a fair estimate and did the job really well. Project one: Installed some lights in my master bedroom. They did it without any damage or extra cuts to the drywall. Now I have 4 great recessed lights. They appeared like magic. Project two: They assembled and installed a ceiling fan in my daughter's bedroom. Fan looks great. Project three: They helped me wire up a security camera on my porch. 0 stars really needs to be an option on here. I called this company a couple weeks ago. I spoke to Mark who said he was doing a job nearby and could probably come by later that day. I said great I'll be home please let me know if anything comes up. Day ended, no call, nothing. A couple days go by and I decide to call again - I figured I'd give him a chance since it was 4th of July week and several neighbors had used him in the past and liked him. He answered, I reminded him of our conversation earlier in the week and he apologized nicely enough. He then came over, we talked about the project I needed to have done. He took measurements and gave me a rough ballpark estimate but said he would email me specifics later that day. I was impressed by his knowledge and suggestions so even though the price seemed high, he gave me enough confidence to keep him in the running. Well the day ended, no email. I figured he got busy so no big deal. I sent him a text late the next day to make sure he had my email correctly. Haven't heard from him since! As a homeowner this type of service provider is incredibly annoying and such a waste of time!!! I mean, why take the time to stop by and make promises only to not seal the deal? Makes no sense. I've only used Bright for a couple small jobs so far, but I'm very happy with their work thus far. Jimmy was a complete professional, and did all the work to a superb standard. I look forward to working with them in the future. An example: Jimmy was checking an outlet, so had it unscrewed and pulled out. When he put it back in and screwed the plate back on, I saw him carefully straighten the outlet to make sure it wasn't crooked. It's a small detail, something many might not notice. It's also something your average electrician doesn't do. But that attention to detail, to me, means they care about their work. They'll pay attention to not just the small unimportant things, but also the little _important_ details. One small downside is that I did ask for an estimate on some work. Jimmy was going to have the owner call me and schedule a time to come by, but that never happened. It's not a big deal; it was just an estimate for some work in the far future so I haven't followed up on it yet. read more

The owner Mark Bright is an amazing electrician! He came over on short notice to help us with a junction box that leads to the water heater. He had all his guys unavailable but understood how important the water heater is so he made time for us.
