Our EV Charger died recently and we texted 2 companies to consult on the project. Cory from Eon wrote us right back (The other company never answered the text.) We had a back and forth and he didn't bid until he understood the full extent of the project: A new charger suggestion (i.e. can it be a plug-in-the-wall model to avoid the hardwired current one, upgrade the amps etc.) He was out a few days later. The dreaded sound of a pop, crackle, and bzzzt, then a dark room. The wall outlet in my living room into which I'd plugged a floor lamp totally died and I had the onerous task of finding an electrician to come out and fix it. Yelp to the rescue! I called to see if they could come out that night (it was a Friday) but it was pretty late in the day and since they were closed on the weekends (I think when I called them they were closed both Sat and Sun but I see now that they're open on Sat) the guy said he could be out first thing Monday. Since the other places I'd called first weren't even returning my calls I said sure. The young electrican (Dylan...?) came promptly at the appointed time and got to work right away. He identified the problem in short order (I just needed my wall plug unit thingy totally replaced because they were falling apart) and it was all fixed and done in under an hour--he has some commonly replaceable items in his truck for a reasonable charge so no need to run to the hardware store or whatever. The whole thing cost about $100 and I was happy to pay it. Now my wall plug is good as new and I've found a reliable electrician service close to home. If I ever need anything electrical done, I'm not looking to anybody but Eon Electric. They are the best, period. I needed a whole bunch of work done in my condo and they delivered in a fantastic way. They installed 3 ceiling fans, installed a GFCI outlet switch, made 2 outlets constant, repaired a light fixture and added an outlet and two light switches in the attic.
