My optometrist was not only friendly but she took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly examined my vision. At the end of our consult, she didn't pressure me to leave, but instead ask me "what other questions do you have?" after my multitudes or questions... Love that they have "Asian Fit Frames". It's hard to find frames that work for me, because I don't have a high nasal bridge. I've tried frames with nose pads but they become very uncomfortable because the pads are pressing down on my nose. I've tried frames without the pads but it ends up touching my cheeks and slipping off my nose. This place has frames particularly for people like me. The staff is very nice and explains everything very clearly. Dr Wong is very nice, she gives all details before running any tests and doesn't try to force additional exams. I needed new glasses & after seeing the high ratings for this place thought I'd try it this morning. After my bad experience there I came back to Yelp & now realize many reviews are by first time reviewers & I see now that ClearVision offers people a free gift for a good review! That's not Yelp acceptable, right? No wonder they have so many good reviews while they're only open 4 day a week for limited hours. Anyway, I walked in & was the only customer in this small shop. I have been to ClearVision twice now for eye exams and repairs for my glasses. I'm absolutely satisfied with the incredible service they offer. Setting up appointments are easy and just got easier now that they have set up an online system to track your appointments, prescriptions, and even the option to directly contact Dr. Wong! I can't give the staff at ClearVision enough credit for the awesome job they do. Dr.Wong, Roselle, Rhonda, Meghan, and Karina do a spectacular job. Each one of them are friendly and helpful throughout every step of the process when I had my eye exam done to pick out a new pair of glasses. Update: The name of this place changed - but Dr. Wong and her amazing staff & Customer Service didnt! :) Old Review: This office has it going on! First off, I recently got over pink eye and I thought it was coming back. I originally called the other office in Summerlin where I live but there was no doctor in that day. Needless to say, I googled the one by my job. (The Rainbow location) and I am sooooo happy I did. I am sorry but this office is 1000000000 times better than the Summerlin office! This office is super clean and the staff is amazing. When I called Megan answered the phone. She was super helpful and listened to my concerns. She showed compassion that she cared about my eyes. There wasn't room for any appointments that day... but she placed me on hold and asked the Dr. if she could take me today for a medical exam on my eye. Dr. Michelle Wong said yes and fit me in between her appointments. If you think the staff is great, wait until Dr. Wong does your eye exam. She is so nice and very knowledgeable, and super down to earth. Turns out my eyes was just a bad case of allergies. She recommended I take a over the counter drop for the itchiness, and it worked like a charm. No more itchy eyes for me. I also hadn't been to the eye Dr. in years for an exam and she even gave me an eye exam and contact fitting as well. I expressed I ran out of contacts and she gave me some trials until my next apportionment. Talk about going above and beyond! :) I came into the office feeling embarrassed, and left super relieved and happy. :) As i stated before this eye office is kind of far from my house in Summerlin, but its worth the drive, this is my new Eye Dr. going forward. You know, I've never felt like writing a review for an optometrist before...until now. In my 20-something years of blind living I've never come across such a comfortable eye exam experience and I've been wearing contacts since I was 10 years old! Before coming to ClearVision I didn't think of optometry as an individual practice that I'd always return to. But now I feel as though I've found a place that I can and want to regularly go to for all my eye care needs (or basically every time I run out of contacts). All the medical employees at ClearVision are extremely polite, professional, and personable which is something that's pretty rare in Vegas. I had originally chose this location through a search on my health insurance website followed by a quick Yelp check. I was truly pleasantly surprised by the modern facility and the staff. Jason first helped me with all of my eye screenings before seeing Dr. Wong. He took a photo of my retina along with the standard tests such as peripheral vision and blood pressure. Once Dr. Wong came in she continued with the exam and thoroughly explained to me the results of my retinal (fundus) photo. She even took the time to teach me about the different veins and the anatomy of my eye. We chatted about the types of new contacts I could try and she gave me a couple of samples to test within the next few weeks. I left the office feeling excited about my healthy eyes and new contacts and I look forward, harhar, to going back to follow up and discuss other options such as color contacts and frames. read more

Dr. Wong is lovely. The rest of the staff is horrible. When I first came into the office, nobody greeted me. I started looking at frames and was approached by a woman who gruffly told me to have a seat and stay away from the frames. Apparently, finding frames you like is something you can't do without her. All interactions with the support staff were off-putting and made me feel uncomfortable. After the woman who initially approached me and reprimanded me for looking through the glasses found out that I actually had money to buy nicer frames, she warmed up. Interesting. Again, Dr. Wong was great - I just wish she had an entirely different staff. After moving away from Vegas a week ago, I needed to get some sports frames, so I called to get my pupillary distance measurement and was told that "by law" they can't release that information, but I could come in to the office and order through them again and they would be able to measure but not give the measurement to me. Sure. Super helpful, thanks. If you desire to have any personal control over your own prescription, or be treated like a human regardless of whether or not you can afford the good glasses, pick another place. read more

Located across from Arroyo Market Square, this is an eye clinic that recently opened in the SW part of town. Upon walking in, I was greeted by friendly staff and a beautiful display of fashionable eyewear on the walls with several designer brands. I was directed to see Dr. Wong, and she is very personable and was very relaxed and patient during our interaction. The interior is both clean and modern, and I also happened to notice that the medical charts were paperless in an electronic-based record system which would seem to be helpful for ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Since this place just recently opened, the waiting room did not seem too crowded so if you live nearby and want to avoid taking a number and spend quality time having all your eyecare needs met, this place fits the bill. I highly recommend coming here. I had a wonderful experience and everyone I encountered during my visit was nothing short of kind. I sent them a text upon my arrival because they are taking precautions against COVID-19 and I immediately got a reply back saying I could come in. The interior is clean and they take the time to sanitize everything (eye exam equipment and glasses) before you use them. So at 46 years of age I finally had to resign myself to the fact that my vision is not perfect anymore and getting worse by the day. I found Dr. Wong on a VSP provider list and what sealed the deal was her location. This brand new office is located nearby the Einstein's bagels and literally across the street from the Arroyo shopping center. The service was good, from the initial exam to the sitting down with the Doctor. The Optical Manager was helpful and knowledgeable of my benefits. A week after my exam, she snapped my new lenses in my existing frames in what seemed to be 30 seconds flat! I can say that the only thing I was not completely satisfied about was my frame's replacement lenses. While they did their best to trace the non-standard lense shape, I later noticed when cleaning them that they do creak in the frames a bit. Not to the point of popping out, but enough to make me notice it. Overall, Dr. Wong and her staff are very attentive and knowledgable. I will be back next year for some new frames as they have a really great selection! I was actually really early and the lady at the front desk was so pleased and said she could move my appointment up no problem (even though I would have waited easily for my time). I've been a patient of Dr. Wong for several years now, and I was excited when she opened up her new practice in the Southwest. Location is awesome. I was able to get my exam on my lunch break. Staff is pleasant and super friendly. I received a courtesy phone call the day before my appointment as a reminder. Check-in was fast: this is where Dr. Wong's attention to detail and customer service shines. Her staff had already contacted my insurance company ahead of time to determine my eligibility and my benefits. They even filled out most of my paperwork. The only thing I had to do was quickly review my forms for accuracy and sign at the bottom. Service! Dr. Wong's equipment is brand-spanking new, and the exam was fast and efficient. I got both contacts and glasses with this visit. Her staff even got me a great deal on contacts - $75 rebate. That made it cheaper than Costco. If you've ever shopped for glasses, you're probably aware of how difficult it can be. For most optical shops, you try on a frame one at a time. It can take an hour or more to find a good pair. Not at Clearvision. Dr. Wong's staff has lots of experience and it definitely shows. I usually have a hard time finding glasses. I don't have much of a bridge on my nose and glasses typically don't stay on my face. Not a problem today. They found me a hip new pair of glasses that fit my face in just minutes. As I was on my lunch break, I planned on just getting my exam and then coming back another day to get my glasses. Imagine my surprise when I got everything done in an hour! I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because everyone who works here is so friendly. Dr Wong is super nice, and the optical specialist, Rhonda is really knowledgable and helped me pick out a great pair of glasses. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of five is because when I went to pick up my glasses, they gave me the wrong ones, and between my eye exam, getting the wrong glasses, returning the wrong glasses and picking up my actual glasses, I ended up having to make 4 trips out here. BUT I still think this place is pretty good compared to lots of optometrists' offices, and I would not only recommend this place, but I will come back for my yearly exams... My typical visit to the optometrist involves extended wait times, ignorant staff, and decrepit eye exam equipment. You won't find that here at Dr. Wong's Clearvision Eye Center. I love the feel of the office...it's clean, neat, and balanced. There's a wide selection of frames onsite. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. I was uncertain what my insurance coverage was so the staff immediately got on the phone for me and then explained all the details of my coverage. Dr. Wong is an absolute joy. She's meticulous to details and very approachable. She takes the time to explain the details of the eye exam and answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly (all my friends know that I'm notorious for asking ALOT of questions). I loved the high res monitor that Dr. Wong uses for the Snellen Chart, which changes at Dr. Wong's control to prevent patients from memorizing the chart and skewing their test results. The rest of her equipment she has is new and more comfortable to the patient, especially during the glaucoma screening which blows a puff of air into your eye to test for internal eye pressure. This test was normally very uncomfortable for me at other optometrist but not so at Dr. Wong's office. After the eye exam you will be greeted by the onsite optician who is extremely knowledgeable and who will find the best contacts or glasses for your needs. I was recommended transition lenses and a frame fitted for athletics. The fit of the frame is perfect and now I'm not fumbling around for my separate set of glasses and sunglasses. I'll be dropping by Dr. Wong's again for my next eye exam and recommending all my co-workers and friends to her. read more

The location is fairly new (they just hit their one year anniversary) and definitely has some nice new equipment. I actually found Dr. Wong through my insurance website. Oddly enough she's the only one listed that had a yelp link connected to her office. And naturally I yelped all the doctors to make sure I pick the right one for me. There was a little confusion regarding my insurance coverage and what would be charged but her staff (Gladys and Karina) were very patient and helpfully. This is a big thing for me since I was so frustrated as anyone is dealing with insurance problems!! When I got into the office, everything was nice, bright, and clean. After filling out the form, the wait was maybe 5 minutes. Karina was the one that did my pre-exam work and nice to talk to. She introduced herself and asked me right away if I minded if an intern shadows us. During the pre-exam she talked me through everything she was doing (the machine she was using, checking my glasses to check their prescription, even to what she was noting on the computer) so I would feel comfortable. Dr. Wong is very pleasant, friendly, and open. The exam room is like most eye doctors offices except she has Mac computers mounted on the wall for the eye exam (which I love and tells me she's not old school!). She makes sure you're comfortable too during the exam by cracking jokes that you are allowed to blink during the exam. After the exam I really liked that she explained what my prescription meant (contacts and glasses) and even showed me how my eyes/lens are since I have astigmatism. I'm so glad I ended going to Dr. Wong (even with her great yelp reviews, I was a little hesitant since I went to Clearvision on W. Sahara a few years ago and I completely disliked the doctor - he was so shift and uptight verging on rude). I'm definitely going to refer to her friends and family ^_^ read more

First off let me say, I am utterly blown away! I've needed glasses for a while, but I was in complete denial. Standard guy mentality I guess. When searching for an optometrist I naturally searched multiple places using yelp. I came across this one and decided to book an appointment based on the high scores. When reading the previous negative reviews I had a few minimal concerns just like any new client, but that all disappeared the moment I walked into the door. Initially, I was going to book for another place in Henderson (further away) based on the fact that I need contacts AND glasses and ClearVision couldn't accommodate both in one appointment in such a short notice. Literally ten minutes later they called to let me know that they went out of their way to postpone their lunch breaks to accommodate me. Wow! I guarantee no other place would do that for a customer! Immediately after walking in I loved to organization and the cleanliness. Despite the receptionists getting a bad rap in previous reviews, Megan was very friendly. She went as far as making sure we all had a beverage in our hand the moment we walked in! (they have complimentary coffee service and bottled water.) I showed up 15 min early for my appointment to fill out paperwork, which took only a few min. While waiting to be called back for my exam I browsed their frames. Despite the other reviews saying they didn't have much of a selection, were not that friendly in recommending, and didn't let you browse yourself, that all couldn't be further from the truth. I narrowed my choices down to 2 or 3 before I even went into my appointment. Upon going into my appointment right on time, I was greeted with a friendly staff. they took me back to do my exam and I was impressed by how everything was being sanitized right in front of me. This gave me a lot of piece of mind. Karina, Rosel, and Riza (hope I spelled your names right) were extremely thorough with my exams and not to mention friendly/ professional the whole time. They have top of the line technology in their facility so I have had no doubts in my mind that I received the best the industry has to offer. Dr. Wong lives up to her great reputation and has a very calming demeanor. I was very nervous at the notion of stabbing my eye out putting in contacts, but she went out of her way to educate me thoroughly about the process. She illustrated the problems with my vision, what is actually being done to solve it, and how common less that perfect vision is. This made me feel as less of a customer and more of an actual person. When it came time to try out contacts it literally took me about 10 minutes per eye (if not more)to put the contact in and take them out. Karina, Rosel, and Riza all took turns giving me tips and tricks to try to make the process easier for me. I just want to say despite me taking a bit long, their professionalism never wavered. It definitely wasn't easy for me to do for the first time, but I never felt rushed during their education. They were extremely patient and super helpful the whole time. I also felt as if they didn't skimp on the education side of things either. I left knowing exactly what to do in every scenario. Granted, one can say this is part of their job, but the abundance of patience they exhibited was above and beyond. I left with absolutely no worries what so ever on caring for the contacts myself. something I was very worried about. Rhonda was next up to assist with my frames. Her official title is Optometrist Manager, but it should be: 'Long lost friend or making guests enjoy themselves, laugh their a$$es off, and have fun manager'. It isn't a fluke that she has such a great reputation on yelp. She is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. Never once did I hear a sales pitch from her, never once did I feel as if she was pushy. She treated me with such value from top to bottom that I feel as if I have an obligation to stop in and say hi to her when driving past the store now. She is the type of lady that not only managed my expectations from price to time, but went out of her way multiple times to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my experience. This is the definition of what great customer service is all about. All in all, if you are they type of person that reads all the negative reviews and worries before you go to a new Optometrist, you have absolutely nothing to worry about here. Almost two years after my first review, this update seems to follow the themes of the last one: 1) Grade-A doctor, 2) fantastic office team, 3) my asian nose. Dr. Wong and her team are better than ever, always highly competent, patient and professional. In particular, Dr. Wong and Rhonda, her Optical Specialist, have a natural ability to put patients at ease during their visit. The real reason for this update though-Clearvision now carries a new line of glasses and sunglasses designed for the gently rolling hill that is the asian nose. TC Charton Eyewear has figured it out the balance of stylish glasses that suit a cheeky face while staying on it at the same time. I highly encourage all my asian friends to check them out. Great place! Called them in the afternoon to try and schedule a last minute appointment and they were able to see me less than an hour later. I barely had to wait after signing in, but was able to get complimentary coffee while waiting. Dr. Wong and her staff were really nice and took their time with the exam and answering any questions I had. Afterwards the optician let me look around for glasses I liked and helped offer similar styles, but never pushed me towards buying any specific pair. The glasses I picked out were a little more expensive than I would have hoped for, but that's to be expected at any brick and mortar place. What do you get when you combine friendly, knowledgeable doctor and truly caring and well-trained staff?! ClearVision! Ever since I found them a few years ago, this place has been my go-to for annual eye exam and all other eye-related needs. The staff and the doctor really know what they're talking about and do their best to make your life easier. I somehow got off my insurance cycle for getting my contacts. Before ClearVision, I would have to do my eye exam, remember the date when my annual deductible takes affect and revisit Sam's club to place my order. The staff here found a way to hold the order for me so that I would get my contacts on the same day and didn't have to go back-and-forth. Two thumbs up! read more

It was my first time visiting Clear Vision. I found them through Yelp, gave them a call, and had an appointment within a week. Dr. Wong was wonderful and very kind. She was very thorough when doing my eye exam and made sure all my questions were answered before sending me off. When it came time to picking my frames, Rhonda, the optician manager seemed incredibly helpful at first. She was really patient and made me feel like I was saving money by buying my contacts and glasses together. She told me I would be paying $300 the entire time, but when it came time to pay, the total came out to $437. That was such a big difference & she told me it was because I picked a more expensive frame. I was thrown off because I was holding the same pair for over 20 mins. When I didn't feel comfortable with the price I had to pay, even after my insurance kicked in... seeing that it was $437.... she made me feel better by telling me I could break it into 2 payments. I put $200+ down while I was there. As I was driving home, I realized I was spending TOO much money. So I stopped my car & gave them a call. This was less than 10 minutes after I left and I asked Rhonda if I could get a refund because I would rather go somewhere else and spend less, but she told me I would have to pay a restocking fee and wouldn't be able to use my insurance elsewhere since I went there. She told me I would lose out on $200. I told her that she never mentioned that & she told me it's on their website.... If that's the case, they should mention that to the patients. I found that to be very unprofessional and wish there was more that could've been done. At the end of the day, I felt like all she did was try to upsell me and just wanted me to trust her judgement so that I would buy the more expensive pair of glasses. Very informative and will work with you to find the best possible solutions without trying to dig a big hole into your wallet. I've shopped around for different optometrists and can say that this place is very honest, reasonably priced, and utmost professional. The office is very clean and rooms are equipped with the latest machines and technology. Dr Wong was awesome. You could tell she really cared about her patients. Not a lot of places do follow-ups like she does. Previous optometrists of mines would just write you a prescription, forced you into getting the most expensive frames, and tell you to come back after your insurance has re-upped your vision allowance. All in all, there is not much more to say about this place. If you are in the hunt for a new optometrist and office that cares, well here you go. Had my first appointment here and everyone was incredibly nice. Woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful when making my appointment and during check in. Dr Wong is great, so is Rhonda. I'm new to wearing glasses (although I shouldn't be ... Didn't realize how bad my eyes were until I had my office visit.) I've experienced some challenges with my glasses, but essentially because I wasn't exactly sure what was a good fit for me.. And the recommendation given was appropriate based on what I thought I needed, but once I started wearing them, I realized I had more robust needs and would require changing the lenses. I emailed Rhonda - and it was handled. I emailed again, and again it's handled. The service here is 5 star worthy. What I really like is the fact that if things aren't exactly right, you don't get treated with contempt or a sense of aggravation. They simply handle business and work to make you 100% satisfied. Bottom line - if you've been putting off your eye exam and you're not quite sure where to go or who to trust.... Go to Clearvision and Dr Wong. You'll get treated right, and you're not stuck if there are adjustments needed. read more
