Dr. B has been my sons pediatrician since he was born and he's now almost a year. We've noticed how attentive and reassuring he is when it comes to our son's health and also how much he actually cares. My son has been sick and I texted Dr. B at 2AM and by 9:30AM he had already called me and followed up and had my son scheduled and seen in his office. I'm a nurse and I've seen first hand how some providers can be dismissive and careless but I'm forever grateful for the great pediatrician we've chosen for our son. His office staff is also always so welcoming and polite every time we come to the office. Thanks for all you guys do! read more

Writing this review while in the waiting room. We've been going to Dr. B for a while and he's great, but his front office staff are so unprofessional. The lady at the front did not greet us or even say anything until I said "Hi! Can i check in?" Even after I said something she rolled her eyes at me. It seems like she doesn't even want to be working with the way she slams the phone down and how she's slouched in her chair. I have seen so many reviews of how trash the front office is and Dr. B hasn't done anything to fix this. Terribly disappointing and at this point I don't think he cares. Ok so we are now leaving. I don't know what has happened, but now even Dr. B is completely unprofessional. He finished seeing us and didn't even say that we were done or anything. Dr. B is great! Laidback and easygoing, also very thorough! We've been taking our son since he was born and don't have any complaints!

We have always had a great experience with the front staff and Dr. B. Everyone is attentive to our needs and my kids love the nurses. Dr. B also is very thorough whenever I bring a child in. He has even had to refer us for one of our children who is experiencing digestive issues due to exhausting all of his typical options and he answered a call over a weekend when we weren't sure what to do and helped us with our problem. read more

I really don't know how this has 2 stars on yelp, we love it here! Super small clinic but that's what I love! My daughter always sees the same doctor and has the same nurse so she has truly built a relationship with them and trusts them and so do we! Dr B is great and super personable! We were at Pleasant pediatrics previously and did not experience any of this with them. I feel like Dr B truly cares about my child and has always been super awesome about my many questions! The receptionist has always been great and wait time is short, they can also always get my daughter in quickly for sick visits which is great! read more

Trying to get asthma medication refilled is a joke through this office. The doctor is nice. His staff needs help. I contacted Cvs and they have told me they reached out to the office twice in the last three days and never got a response. I called the office today and they tell me, yes we just received it today. What a coincidence I didn't even tell them my name so how did they know they have the prescription? Avoid this office if you need timely medication and a front office that is confident. read more

Rude office staff been fighting this so called claim since my daughter has been born. Since February 2021. I was so frustrated with this lady she gave me such a bad attitude and said well if you're going to give me an attitude ma'am I can send this to collections. I am so livid... When I took my daughter in for her 12m shots (MMR etc.) .. they administered it into her arm and before they did that I questioned the lady and asked aren't you going to do it in the thigh and she said no we do these ones in the arm... My husband was pist.. I looked it up... CDC guidelines clearly states "The preferred injection site in small children is the anterolateral aspect of the thigh. Doctor B is very kind but his staff is absolutely horrible. When I called today and had concerned they literally told me I was an inconvenience to them. When my husband went there Nikita who's the one that told me I was an inconvenience was picking her fingernails. Very rude and unprofessional. Horrible!!! horrible!!! experience with front desk staff, this very unprofessional girls don't know anything about how to provide a good and decent customer service from the moment you call the office they are super rude until the moment you walk into the office, the Dr. is ok. I felt so sad and uncomfortable the three times I was there with my son because of the way the treated me and the way they talked to me, and even over the phone in one occasion I was trying to explain something about my son to one of the girls and she would not let me talk until finally she had to ask the doctor to call me, I really hope that the Dr. can do something about it and be aware on what is happening in his own office, this is my personal experience but I wouldn't like another parents to go through this. Dr. Borlongan is extremely nice, very polite and personable, in the two appointments I've had for my baby he was always willing to take time to answer questions. That being said, I'm not very happy with the way his office handles things. I arrived today for my baby's 2 month checkup, and the person who was there informed me that the doctor was out, and would not be back until August, unless I wanted to reschedule for the next day. I expressed my surprise, considering I had scheduled the appointment 6 weeks ago. She said, "well someone tried to call, is this your number still?" I explained that I had no missed calls or voicemails from anyone at his office. I didn't even get an apology, she said "it must have been the other girl". To not even take the time to cancel appointments, it's just very inconsiderate of people's time. I wasted my whole morning getting ready and going over there just to find out it was for nothing. Add to that they don't do labs in office and my breastfeeding concerns were not really taken seriously, I think it's time to find a different pediatrician. read more

i rated it 1 star not because of the doctor. Dr Borlongan is really very knowledgable and great doctor. I bring my kid to him on any given day. it's just his office staff are very rude and very incompetent. I work on a healthcare field and I know how should a patient be treated. I saw how the staff handled my kid especially on giving injections. very unsafe and doing wrong techniques and that worry me everytime my kid is scheduled for one. Staff easily irritated. you should be considerate enough to understand that we parent is stressfull everytime we bring our to a doctor. you should know how to deal with parents especially on our stressfull days and not add on our stress. If you dont like what you're doing, might as well look for another job. You are just ruining a Doctor's very good reputation. I dont think this doctor deserves that. On my last visit was horrible. how can you not accomodate a kid jaundice and possible high bilirubin????? that's very unacceptable. read more

Let me start by saying we love Dr. Borlongan. But his office staff leaves a lot to be desired. When I have a brand new child and ask questions you probably shouldn't roll your eyes at me. These decisions we are making could alter his life greatly. So keep your judgy eye roll to yourself! Wish it was only Dr Borlongan that we had to work with. Office staff is BAD!!!! One lady looked like she just rolled out of bed and came to work. She had this dirty 80's headband and food on her face. She did not want to be bothered from her cell phone screen. I never disrespected them, or even complained to them about how they were acting. However, she went and told the doctor that I have an issue with them. Dr. B confronted me about it angrily and told me if I have an issue with his staff I can go somewhere else. He didn't have to tell me that, I don't trust him with my kid. Dr. B is good at pretending to be kind, but it's not in his genuine character; that's what he has proved to me. read more

Dr. Borlongan is a amazing doctor that being said his staff is horrible. The girls up front never smile and it's almost like you are bothering them when you come in. His nurse is just as bad NO PEOPLE SKILLS. The nurse giving my very young son shots was so rough and doesn't care about your concerns. I tried to stay with this office because we loved the doctor so much but in the end it was not worth having to deal with his staff. I had a appointment for my son today for shots and could not bring myself to bring him in I could not see him getting shots from someone who could careless about how he feels. I hope the doctor sees soon that he needs to do a complete staff change. It makes or breaks a office. I called a new office and the girl on the phone was a breath of fresh air so kind and made sure to explain everything. Not sure why but I've stayed with Dr. Borlongan for almost 6 years. He is fantastic but he staff is simply not. I cannot figure out what the problem is; why does hire such young, unprofessional, rude, office staff? Maybe he is super cheap or something, who knows. If I had to go any more often than I do I would find a new doc. It is aggravating to call and have to listen to voices that sound like you are inconveniencing them by calling. If the girl at the front desk was replaced I would give this office 5 stars. She has a TERRIBLE attitude... pretty much like talking to an attitudinal teenager. Dr borlongan is amazing and so friendly. But there's no worse feeling than going to your baby's pediatrician appointment dreading having to deal with the front desk and dreading calling the office because of the front desk. Idk her name I can never understand her voicemails she leaves... nakita maybe? She didn't update my insurance card and claimed she did, I told her she was charging me the wrong amount for my copay and she Said it's my insurance telling her to charge me that much... I called my insurance and they said they haven't even gotten anything from them. I told her that than she got all defensive over it because she was proven wrong, than she kept trying to argue with me about the copay amount... I was trying to explain her one thing but she was somehow stuck on what we talked about earlier trying to not make herself look dumb. If dr borlongan were to replace her I would highly recommend this office, the Drs great, the Drs assistant is so nice and caring... BUT nothing is worse than dreading your appointments because you have to deal with someone with a bad attitude who happens to be the first person you see entering the office and the last person you see leaving. read more
