After years of bringing my children to this office, I can honestly say I was disappointed with the overall experience. The staff and providers often came across as unfriendly and dismissive, and I rarely felt like appointments were personalized to my children's individual needs. I also felt pressured to follow their vaccine schedule, and when I expressed concerns or wanted to make different choices, I was made to feel that our care could be discontinued. Families deserve respectful communication and support, even when they have questions or differing opinions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. read more

Honestly, this has nothing to do with the doctors or assistants in the back but the front staff is a joke!!! My baby/ son anytime I'm trying to schedule if my son has an ear infection of some sort, they always schedule him a week later/ by that time my son would probably die! The front staff if you walk in for a visit seee if they can do something (I tried going in for help) the chola looking lady does not care if your son is dying! They are only there for their paycheck! 6th time having to go to the hospital because they cannot seem to squeeze him in there, with my first born at a different pediatric, never had this issue and they have sympathy towards babies or kids. Like I said the front staff is only there to collect a paycheck and do not care about the health of your children, she even had the nerve to say I need to call ahead of time to schedule, I had called 2 hours before closing and no one answers, the nerve of this lady! the doctors and assistants in the back are sweet and caring, just not the front desk!! read more

Spoke with Bramble regarding my daughter's medication, not only was she rude, but she sent it to the wrong pharmacy which took me over an hour to locate it. I took my daughter here after an accident at our baby sitters house and this office called CPS to complete an investigation on MY family. Vicky Campbell had always referred to my child as a "Unicorn" and never expressed any type of concern, ever!!! Our 8 month old daughter was REMOVED FROM OUR HOME FOR 10 days due to this INSANE request by this office who's known my daughter since the day she was born. For an accident that happened at our neighbors house!!! Vicky Campbell had no care in the world and knew exactly what she was was doing and how it would all escalate for weeks. She would NOT communicate with us or any requests from the police department or CPS directly. Even Surprise PD said this was insanity and even they tried to help us navigate quicker to get our daughter back to our home. Absolutely awful experience with this office I would NEVER RECOMMEND. EVER. Unless you want to risk losing your child to the government. Phoenix Children's Hospital finally cleared everything proving that it was self inflicted incident from an 8 month old learning to stand! for anyone who wants to think "there's more to the story". NO- there absolutely was not period. I will forever have PTSD from the whole incident and hope to god that this office never has another family go through what they did to us. Surprise police sided with us as well about this office, it was awful. read more

I am very picky about who I take my boys too. Desert Valley Pediatrics was great though! They got us in and out quick, but still took the time to make us feel important. When I needed something fast for my son they got back to me and got me the prescription that he needed! They are great and we had an amazing experience with them! read more

I am new to Arizona and it took me awhile to find a pediatrician. This office, everyone is so kind, they have a well and sick side which saves most germs which I feel like is a wonderful idea. The staff is so so kind and helpful. My experience was amazing and I'm so glad we found a drs office. Dr. Serino is so welcoming and nice. The office is clean, and in a great location. We have been going here since we moved to AZ 6 years ago. My kids are 10, 8 and 6 years old. Dr. Rudy Serino is their main pediatrician but I love all of the doctors and nurse practitioners. There was only one practitioner I saw that I was not happy with and she wasn't there for long (I didn't complain or anything, so they stay on top of things and know what is going on in their office). They are seriously dedicated to their patients. I never feel rushed and have never waited more than 15 minutes in the waiting room and rarely more than that in the exam room. My first son died of SIDS 12 years ago and so I am a bit of an over-reactor (okay a lot) when it comes to my kids and the office staff, doctors, nurses, etc. have always been more than happy to listen to my concerns and help to ease my mind however that might be accomplished. I highly, highly recommend this office. read more

This review is not about the doctor. I had an appointment for my 2 children. The furniture for the kids was so dirty. I took a wipe and tried to clean it. But it would take a few. The reason I had so much time to do this as a new patient is because the receptionist didn't say one word to us. She was helping someone who didn't have an appointment and when we walked in we weren't even greeted. Someone walked in after us and sat down. Then a man walked in and she started helping him before any of us. If the office wasn't filthy I would have at least waiting to see the doctor. Not worth it. read more

Scheduling is not a problem, if it is something that needs attention right away, they get us right in every time. Not impressed at all! First visit to this office for our daughter's 15mo check up. We've been waiting in the room now for 50min to see the doctor. It was very hard to decide to go to a new doctor since we have had the same pediatrician for our oldest son for over seven years. Due to moving we have to find another provider. My first visit here was enough to make me not want to come back. But because I like to give places more than one chance and because the staff was apologetic... I figured I'd give it another try. First things first, the two girls that work up front aren't very inviting, both times I've been in, I have never been greeted. My first visit (new patient) I came in early like they asked, finished my paperwork before the appointment time, and still waited over an hour before being called back. There were atleast a handful of kids that came in after us and all got called in before us. Once we got to the back, we still had to wait. The furniture wasn't very clean, which is gross. And then upon leaving, I wanted to set up my baby's next appointment and the girl couldn't even tell me when it would be. So when I told her she couldn't even give me an appointment because their schedule wasn't even open 3 months out. I get that because of the holidays but then I came back a little over than a month later and got the same story. read more

I took my daughter in for her well check. The doctor did everything needed and asked me how her allergies were. I said ok and asked if I could add a nose spray she said yes and end of that conversation. Get a bill for her well check (not supposed to) and I call my insurance and they charged me for an extra 10 min for a 1 minute conversation that the doctor initiated. My insurance asked if I wanted to file a complaint which i did. Insurance is expensive enough to have to pay for a question that the doctor asked me. We switched over to a new doctor and love her!! And they thought it was crazy that we got charged for that too. Won't be back. I drive an extra 15-20 min but so worth it. Won't suggest this place to any of my other mom friends in the area either. I have now referred 4 people to our new pediatrician and all love her too. read more

This office is terrible. They couldn't care less about the care of your child. Consistently prescribe a medication that doesn't work on our daughter just for us to have to make and pay for a 2nd appt for a new medication that is sufficient. All they want is money. read more

I absolutely love this place. The Dr's and medical staff are so sweet, understanding, attentive, and go above and beyond every time. Every time I call for a last minute appointment they are accommodating with same day. A couple times I was caught in traffic but they were more than understanding. My prescriptions are always on time at the pharmacy, so I'm not having to call and find out what went wrong. I have and will continue to refer others to DVP. read more

My 12 year old daughter had her first well check with her new doctor. Dr. Pitts was just what I was looking for, she was very kind and new justbhiw to interact with my child, my child is at that awkward age to be talking about certain things and my child was so comfortable with Dr. Pitts. Dr. Pitts sat and listen to all our questions and concerns and she made my daughter and I very comfortable in discussion. Great job Dr. Pitts!! read more

My first visit to Desert Valley Pediatrics in Surprise was a very pleasant one. My son had a rash that wouldn't go away, and I was able to get an appointment the same day. Granted, it was for late in the day, but at least they were able to accommodate us. I got an appointment for 3:45 p.m. and they told me to be there at 3:15. Well, I got a little lost and ended up getting there at 3:25. They had me fill out one paper before we went back and told me that I could fill out the rest as I waited for the doctor. I was only waiting for about 5 minutes before we went back. My son was seen by Dr. Rudy Serino. What an awesome guy! He was extremely friendly and made us feel completely at ease, which is important when it comes to children's doctors. I feel very confident about choosing Desert Valley Pediatrics as my children's pediatricians. read more

DR. VICKY is amazing the staff is very nice. The only thing I would ask is if they could have another person up front. Every time I come in there is always a line of 3 or more people. The lady up front does her best but I think it would be a lot better to have a second person to help and make things faster and smoother. read more

I started here years ago with my daughter who is now 22. She saw Dr. Serino when the Surprise office opened and went there until she was 18. She didn't want to leave. Now, my Grandson who was born this year is seeing Dr. Serino. He loves him. He always takes the time to answer all of your questions and doesn't leave the room until you are done. He is just awesome. I wouldn't go anywhere else!! Also recently saw Dr. Coit. My Grandson kept smiling at her (he's such a ladies man). They are all great!!
