I have never been a patient at this medical office, yet they repeatedly spam-called my phone--close to 40 times. When I finally called back, I spoke with Alice, who identified herself as the manager. She claimed someone may have used my number by mistake. When I asked for her supervisor or a corporate contact to formally resolve the issue, she hung up on me. I called back again requesting the same information and was told, "I already told you I'd take you off the list." When I asked her to stop harassing me with repeated calls, she became hostile and told me to "go f*** myself." This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior, especially for a medical office. If this is how non-patients are treated, I can't imagine how concerns are handled for actual patients. read more

At first I really liked this place but when I had concerns about my baby's eczema the dr there just kept telling me to apply Vaseline. His eczema got worse and Vaseline wasn't helping. It got so bad he got hives and we took him to the ER and THEY recommended to go see an allergy doctor not his actual pediatrician. Very disappointing. We will not be back here again. read more

We recently had a baby at Banner Del Webb and were assigned Dr. Tinuola Babarinde as a hospital pediatrician. Dr. Babarinde refused to let us leave the hospital because she didn't like the amount of weight that our baby lost, even when multiple studies show that our baby was well within the "normal" % range for a c-section and exclusively breast fed baby. The nursing staff agreed that we should have been allowed to leave, but said that Dr. Babarinde was "old school" and apologized multiple times because nothing could be done to bypass this doctor's incorrect knowledge of weight loss in babies after birth. We felt pressured to give formula to our baby because Dr. Babarinde would not let us leave until his weight was where she wanted it, but we stood our ground and finally got to leave after an extra day at the hospital! If you want the best care for your child, look elsewhere. read more

We had an in person appointment at 1100. We showed up at 1040 ish to make sure we would we ready and did not get seen until 1200. Walked to the back and were told to undress baby and that they would be back in a minute.. that minute turned to 15 minutes with an almost naked newborn sitting on the cold table... read more

I waited 4 months to get into this Dr. for my son's 2 year checkup because she "doesn't see sick kids" so it wasn't until he was 27 months old were we able to make an apt. My apt was for 1:10pm. I was told to be there 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I arrived at 12:30pm and there was a note on the door saying "Out for lunch, be back in 30 minutes" This note did not have a start or end time so I didn't know when that 30 minutes started or was going to be over. So at 12:40pm I pulled on the door to see if it was open yet and it was locked. We waited a few minutes, then I called, of course no one answered, so I called to check the times. The automated message said they were closed from 12:30-1:30pm for lunch. So obviously upset, we left. I get a call at 1:15pm from them wondering where we were and if we were still going to make it. I explained my apt. time that was scheduled and that i even got an automated message the day before telling me my apt was at 1:10 and needed to be there 30 minutes early. This receptionist then tells me lunch is only from 12:30-1pm and that normally they only require 15 minutes of paperwork time and has no control over the automated messages. So I then tell her that if that was the case, then they still had asked me to come in during their lunch time by 5 minutes? Her response was in those cases, they listen for someone pulling on the door and then let them in and end lunch early? So i then say ok, if I can get there in the next 10 minutes (because we weren't far) she said, let me check then said yes but there could be a wait... After all that? If this is how they treat people over their mistakes, (never got an apology or any sort of sympathy) especially when it involves dealing with a child and how difficult it can be to take off work and be there on time, during already tough times. I said forget it. So there's my experience and definitely do NOT recommend them. read more

Dr B is phenomenal. She truly goes above and beyond what is expected of a Dr. My guess is that she is definitely a superhero. When my son was first born he had to go through many tests, some results came in very late. She went the extra mile and would call with the results no matter what time! She truly brings you piece of mind even at 11pm. When my son was born she came to the hospital that very day to check on him. Whenever my son has been sick, her office has gotten him in same-day or the next day. My son is now over a year and being a first time Mom I couldn't be happier with my choice in a pediatrician. If you don't believe me, meet her yourself. Her office allows you to go in and do a meet and greet even before your baby is born! You can ask whatever questions you have, so bring your notepad full. She is wonderful and so is her staff. Choose her for your little human who means most. read more

If you can avoid this place AT ALL, do it! My son has been coming here since he was born and we ONLY kept his doctor because she's really nice. But it NEVER fails, you set an appt and won't be seen for literally over an hour and half. We had an appt schedule for 3:40, out of respect I got here at 3:20, its 5:02pm right now and we are still sitting in this small room. Not worth it. Teladoc if you have to. This isn't at all the first incident, it's happens ALL the time. And with another younger sibling and having to expect them to put up with it too is not ok. This visit IS NOT OK!!! We will be changing doctors. read more

Dr. B is awesome and I am so glad I was referred to her! She actually takes her time, fully examines baby, and explains things very well! She was also overly generous with samples when she didn't need to be. I was overjoyed! Her staff was nice to me and my daughter. The only real downfall was the wait time. Although when I first walked in, there was nobody at the front desk to greet and nobody came up within a reasonable amount of time to hand out paperwork. Coming from a medical office myself, we do things a little differently but always make sure that someone is available to help patients when they walk in. read more

Dr. B and her staff administered the Gardasil vaccine without my consent. I am not an anti-vaxer both my kids are up to date on all shots. But I called the office and faxed my divorce decree and specifically told them they could not do anything without my consent yet they did anyway. read more

Dr. B is a great doctor. We only saw her once in the hospital and we liked her. The rest of her staff, not so much. I called the morning of my newborn's circumcision appointment to cancel it, explaining that I had been in the Emergency Room all night with a mastitis. I offered to bring in my discharge paperwork, along with the doctor's order for me to rest due to the infection. (I had just had a baby 3 days earlier...) The front office staff wouldn't budge; "if you can't make it you'll be charged a fee, that's our policy". It wasn't 24 hrs in advance, so they charged my account $50. I wrote a letter to the office manager, who assured me she would handle it and the next thing I know, my $50 fee was sent to collections. My newborn was never even seen in their office. Dr. B is really nice however, her staff was very rude and unprofessional. The receptionist in the front was rude and unfriendly. This was my very first visit and was not impressed right as soon as I stepped in the office. Walking in from the waiting room, the electric outlets were hanging off which wasn't a good first impression on the care of the facility. The tech checking my sons height started pulling on his legs to straighten them out (he is only 3 days old). I asked her to stop pulling on his legs and she responded "this is how we check their height". I immediately stopped her and was extremely agitated at this point and wanted to leave. Sat in the room and waited over 40 minutes just to see the Dr. She advised he needed to be checked for jaundice before I could schedule his circumcision. Went and got him tested and Dr called saying he would need another appt at her office so he can be sent back to the lab for another set before she could schedule it. I ended up taking him to a different pediatrician for a second opinion and they advised that he was way below and perfectly fine to do the circumcision right then. They even said they weren't sure why Dr B was trying to schedule a second appt... either way after all these events, the facility wasn't convenient on the second floor of the building especially when hauling 2 babies around so I'll be going else where. read more

Stay FAR AWAY. We used Dr. B as we had to select from a list of authorized pediatricians at del Webb for after birth. She accepted our insurance so we picked her. Of many, many of the issues we've had since a few major one's stand out. First being our sons newborn screen. She NEVER called us to tell us he tested potentially positive for a horrible disease. We had to find out four weeks later when our normal pediatrician asked for the records. We were livid to say the least. Two days later, while awaiting secondary test results, her billing office calls us demanding our sons social to make an insurance claim. GREAT to know they'll call for their money but not for critical test results. Our insurance does not require us to give SSN, but a benefits number, to make insurance claims (military protection via Tricare). The rep argued it with my husband heavily. He even called our insurance to verify we didn't have to give anymore more and they agreed. They tried to bully us into giving them information they did not require. A week later we received a letter stating we had to call with a ssn immediately or we would have to pay the $200 bill if not received by x-date (making up their own rules). That's not how things work. Not at all. Now here's the kicker - the letter was addressed to the wrong name. They didn't get my first name right and spelt my last name wrong. They filed the insurance claim with the benefits number to a completely wrong name for my son. Like, not even close. No wonder it got kicked back! We don't have a Child with that first OR last name. How the heck are you going to demand money from family members when you don't even know their names? I'm still trying to figure out where you pulled these names from. Tell me how I'm going to trust your office with my sons social when you can't get even his name right, or his test results to his parents in a timely manner. I've filled a complaint against them with the hospital for their negligence and plan to do the same with our insurance. The fact that my son didn't receive immediate Care for a potential disease due to their stupidity has us raging. The second results came back clear, thankfully. And they should feel lucky they did or they'd have a malpractice suit on their hands. Horrible, horrible experience. Safe to say if you enjoy knowing your child's health means more to them than money, find someone else. read more

Just a couple days ago, (7/13/2016) I receive a call from a collections company stating that I have a bill that was never paid that they are working to collect on. 19 months later and this is the first I have heard anything! I do not pay my bills late and I have an excellent credit standing. All of the bills I received from the hospital for the birth of my baby have been paid in full. I never received a bill from Palm Tree Pediatrics because if I had it would have been paid. So I ask the collections agent why I never received a bill and she states that they had a bad address and the bills were undelivered. The address Palm Tree Pediatrics had was an address that the hospital had on file from 31 years ago when my mother had me at Thunderbird Samaritan (now Banner Thunderbird). I actually never lived at that address. I gave the hospital my new address SEVERAL times and all my other hospital bills made it to my home and were paid. Palm Tree Pediatrics wants to charge me a collection fee because they sent this bill to collections without verifying my address or calling to confirm it afterwards. They have another complaint on Yelp.com regarding a bill being sent to collections and it seems they have too many clients and just send everything to collections without following proper procedures to verify addresses. I should not be held responsible for a collections fee as I provided Banner Del Webb with the correct address and had Dr. Babarinde asked for my address, this would not have been an issue. Banner Del Webb sent me all the hospital bills to the correct address with no problem. Her staff (Athena and Tabitha in billing) are unreasonable and would rather charge me a collection fee than to have a happy client. I actually heard Athena in billing tell someone else in the office "she won't shut up" (referring to me) while I was on the phone with her! I have informed BBB and will be informing the hospital staff, my doula, Facebook, as well as other moms who plan to use this company if this isn't resolved. read more

I understand all of these reviews are negative due to billing, that should not take away from Dr. B as a doctor. Dr. B has been my sons doctor for 4 years. As a first time parent in the hospital she made sure my newborn was healthy and provided awesome care. Dr. B always remembers my son and makes him feel comfortable and loved. As a child you're automatically afraid of people you don't know. My son is excited to go to see Dr. B when he's sick because he knows her and loves her. Thank you Dr. B! read more
