I had a good experience and I have been to this location a few times to wash my items too large for my machine. I have never experienced anyone working there being onsite when I go, although I usually go during the week in the early morning. Bright n Clean is the laundry area near the Grocery Outlet. I only give 2 Stars because it's convenient. I wish they'd do something with the smell in the dryers, they mostly have a musky old moldy smell same with some washers. Maybe they need to get cleaned more ? Most of the machines (both washers and dryers) have a bad smell it's sad for a place to clean clothes. Sometimes I have to rewash my clothes because the stench from the machines rubs on my clothes. Note to staff please clean a sanitize machines properly so that there's no and smell. And some machines eat your money , one of the dryers turns on but doesn't have heat sometimes, and a few of the washers don't work properly. read more

Unfortunately our washing machine broke and I was going to have to go to a laundromat until we got a new washer. It's been many years since I had been to a public laundromat and I was not looking forward to it. A few weeks prior to our washer breaking, I had walked by Bright n' Clean and happen to notice how clean it was inside. Last week I went to Bright n' Clean to do my laundry and was impressed just how clean it was in there. There were a few people there doing their laundry and when I walked in, a couple of those people greeted me with a "Good Morning". Which never happens anywhere these days. So that was awesome. But then it got even more awesome when I met the owner, Susan, who was also there. Susan is a breath of fresh air. Her smile and positive attitude is contagious. She instantly made me feel like a new friend. Not being able to do laundry at home right now has been an inconvenience. However, this is now my 2nd week coming here and I feel comfortable and safe while I am here. Thank you, Susan, for providing such a nice place for the community to come to and do their laundry. read more

Stopped into Bright and Clean Laundry Center to wash my Comforter as it is oversized and I needed a large washer. The place was clean and Susan who worked there was very helpful. She said that they will soon be installing new dryers. They had plenty of washer and dryers and the place was very clean. It is right close to Lucky's and Starbucks so a great location. read more

Used to wash here all the time. Not sure what happened but the attendant here must of been having a bad day. I didn't bring my clothes in before grabbing change and basically started yelling at me in front of a crowd of people. I attempted to go grab my clothes and bring it back in to show him I didn't have any ill intentions. As I went to my car, I looked over my shoulder to see the attendant glaring out the window at me. Really freaked me out lol. I just took off and won't be coming back. Now that I'm reading previous reviews. I'm glad I made the decision to not come back here. read more

Terrible service by the attendant. I came in with my friend (which is not from here, but from Europe) whose English is not very good, both read and spoken, and apparently my friend ended up putting a couple of non-quarter coins in the machine since he thought that the machines take all denominations. Then we got change, showed my friend how to complete the washing cycle and stepped out for a second to get something to drink from the store next door. Once we get back he approaches us in such a disrespectful way and starts scolding my friend and I ask whats going on. He then proceeds to say that he found the coins (nickels, dimes and pennies - about a total of five) and says that he prefers for us not to come here anymore. I then stated that my friend is as foreign as he is (Phillipino) and he then goes on a rant about how he can refuse service and so on. I then attempted to explain that it might have been a misunderstanding by my friend and then he apologizes to the attendant. Attendant then proceeds to start arguing with me and gets really loud and extremely rude. Never coming to this laundromat again. When I asked who the owner is to formally file a complaint against him. He then backs off from the argument.. Then comes back a minute later saying that he is the owner. And just stands there staring at us while I go outside and get the name of the stablishment to look it up online and try and get some more information. Whoever knows who the owner of this stablishment is please msg or reply to this review, since I really felt appalled by the way this individual attendant treated me and my friend. read more

Bright N Clean Laundry Center - Laundromat Near Me - Hayward, California

Just came in today to wash my cushion covers from my sectional. I haven't been in for awhile and the place was so clean. There was a lady working there who seriously did not stop cleaning the entire time I was there. After speaking with her; apparently her husband cleans there at night. There still is the assorted types of people here, but that is true of all laundry mats. I agree that the owner can appear like a jerk though. He seems to stand around and glare at his customers, usually from the door. read more

I took my money in to get change before lugging all five bags of laundry in here. When the machine was spitting out change for dollar #2, a small asian lady came over and started yelling that the change was for customers only. I told her that I had never done laundry here before and I wanted to come in and take a look before dragging all of my bags in, but with rudeness like that, I will gladly take my laundry elsewhere. It wasn't very clean, but it wasn't the dirtiest laundromat I'd ever been in either. Clean laundromats with friendly and polite management are hard to come by. read more

Everything one would need from a laundry mat. Management is always around because its a low-income area, so I dont blame them. Nothing great to say, nothing harsh to say. Packed like hell on weekends. Go early or on weekdays. read more

OWNER IS A JACK *** Went in there more than an hour before they close, this guy with his teeth missing comes up (seems to be the owner) and tells me to hurry up before I even start putting in my clothes. He told me 2 times (his English was so broken he had to repeat himself) he then has a problem with me sitting on the counter while I am watching TV with the dryer (I was trying to make sure I was done in time, no one was there and the counters wouldn't have an issue holding 155lbs.) I started to explain how uncomfortable it was that he id's telling his customer to hurry upwhen he walks in, and the guu goes into his office and white the door. This place is awful. This is a NO star place. The machines will eat up your coins. Instead of 18 coins like it says on the machine, you'll end up feeding it 23 coins. You tell the person managing the place and he will point to the machine and say "put 1 more coin in, see it is working." Try and explaine and he will say he is not the owner and come back to get your money! Awful place; expensive, dirty, bad service!!!! read more
