Horrible laundry mat- the little man that "manages" this spot touches your clothes without your permission not even 1 minute after the clothes is done. I completely understand if your clothes is sitting there for a while bit cmon it just buzzes done and there he goes. He is literally the worst. So if you want a stranger touching your intimate items go here if not PLEASE take your business elsewhere. He is disgusting and if i find any of my daughter's underwear missing it was him. Jenny aka Tita Jenny is one of the most caring and attentive owners of a laundromat I have ever come across! The washers were thoroughly cleaned every few hours and Jenny took the time to converse with customers as she maintained the place. I rarely come this laundry mat due to years ago the owners were too rude and it's not such a great neighborhood, not my thing oh well, i didn't have a choice since I was near by and it was already late like 6pm I use my own at home but I decided to come here due to mine unexpectedly just not working, I come in and immediately the owner a woman came up to me and told me to move my clothes that I had put in a big washer to another one and not even told but demanded me if you understood what tone is then you get it...she said it's too big for that (language barrier obviously she ment the washer is too big for the amount of clothes) and mind u I'm already loading another one a medium one and realized hmm i can just use two medium washers since I can't use one big one because I have white and blacks.. so I said to myself load the whites and then move the blacks because I don't want to block anyone (very small hallways only one person can walk through) WELL she proceeded to butt in and tell me what to do with my laundry and I stoped and said i cannot mix these clothes and use a big washer they are whites and blacks??? And she pointed at the one grey sweater and said "WHAT IS THAT!!??" I said I'm sorry I didn't realize I had to come and explain myself to able to wash here?, I proceeded to tell her what I was actually doing and she said and quite offended that I just wasn't letting her bully me, said "OH THAN YOUR RICH!!" "AND DONT WANT TO SAVE MONEY!!" Laughed and filled her ego with "IM THE OWNER!" Okay? I didn't ask so I told her everyone in this place wants to save money everyone in California wants to! I know what im doing stop meddling. I wish she had not gotten in my face and tried to treat me that way and mind you before I even let a word out I did let her talk her shit and she did keep getting way to comfortable in tone and personal space, speaking to me in a disgusting tone until I said something then she wants to say "WHY ARE YOU SO MAD?" I know when u walk away from stupid arguments. Excuse me learn to speak to people who come to your so called business to keep you in business. A little small, but the machines are not expensive. The lady is super nice; Yelp says they close at 10, but the lady told me she closes at 8:30. Luckily, she said she was going to wait for me. I've been to other places that almost kick you out an hour before closing. Next time I'll just make sure I'm here earlier. read more

SERVICE: One in a million. I didn't get her name but I'm assuming she's Mimi. This bright lady is kind, welcoming, helpful and attentive. She gave me a hand with folding my blankets and an extra plastic bag to hold my laundry!! She noticed it was my first time at the laundromat and even gave me a warm hug on my way out ;_;!She gives back by offering $25 cash prize raffles. There's a photo wall of raffle winners posted. WASHERS: Small medium large sizes available for respectively 10, 14, or 32 quarters a spin. (That makes it $2.5, 3.5, or 5.5) I didn't notice the differences and threw everything in the large washer. Fits a ton! I had two full size fleece blankets, a thin full size comforter, two queen sized bedsheets, and a couple pillow cases. It was only half full. DRYERS: 6 minutes per quarter. My heavy load was good after 1.50$! BILL N COIN EXCHANGER: Convenient machine to turn your $10/$20's to $5's. Another machine turns your bills to quarters. All washers and dryers take quarters only. If you need something to hold your change, the owner will gladly give you a paper cup. DETERGENT: If you're also forgetful... there's a vending machine for detergent and bleach for 75 cents. This place STOLE FROM ME! Website, door and yelp says they close at 10pm. I put my clothes in the dryer at 8pm, left to feed my children and came back at 8:30 and they CLOSED with my laundry inside!! The sign says last wash and dry is at 8:30 and they still STOLE my clothes and locked the doors. When I called, they blocked my number. Also, the number listed above isnt correct. Its such a HUGE inconvenience for you to lock someones clothes inside just so you can go home an hour and a half early. If the hours are altered because of Covid, IT SHOULD BE POSTED!!! So selfish and disrespectful! I'll never return here!! You guys are disgusting people. read more

Mimi's Laundromat is a great place to go to do your laundry. The owners are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. My wife and I come here weekly and they even help us take care of my two boys when we are busy washing and folding. If you like to do your laundry on the weekend like we do they provide free coffee in the mornings, which is a life saver when you've either been working hard the past week or partying the night before. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Been coming here for months, switched from Washland. I did not know what I was missing. This place is stellar. Jenny and her husband run this place and are very, very sweet. They know everyone by names and greet everyone with such brilliant enthusiasm. They keep a television running with childrens' programming and ample seating so the kids can have something to do while everyone gets their laundry done. Facilities are very clean -- they are constantly sweeping and wiping the place. They are very kind and help you to troubleshoot your problems with the equipment and even help give you tips on how to do your laundry more efficiently (I know I learned a lot!). They even come around periodically and offer candy to us. Doing laundry is a pain in the butt. We all hate having to drag loads and loads of clothes over to the laundromat to do it. Jenny and family make it absolutely enjoyable. Location is excellent -- there's a Jamaican restaurant (Carmen's) next door in case you're hungry. Prices are nice, too! 5 stars / 5, for sure. Love this place and will never switch. read more

I recommend this laundry facility 5 star hands down. The new bigger washers/dryers are great. Clothes get clean & no soap residue left on them. Lowest prices I've found within surrounding areas. There is a bathroom and the owner is on the premises. Speaking of owner, I witnessed on a couple visits the act of kindness. Helping ones less fortunate by washing/drying their clothes even after they made a mess, disturbing customers. Customers are treated kindly and made to feel welcomed. That alone is worth the visit. I must look hella lost sometimes. A really nice lady washing her clothes was kind enough to show me where the coin changer is. I asked the owner if she could break a ten for me. She should me the machine that changes $10 bills. She asked if this was my first time here and I told her that I just moved out here from Wisconsin. She smiled and said, "welcome to your laundromat." Nicest lady ever! While writing this review she just totally started handing out lollipops!!! And Beverly Hills Chihuahua on TV! It's in Spanish, but then again so is errebody up in herre. Jenny is great! She and her husband own this place and really take care of their customers. She was so welcoming, helpful and super friendly. They put their heart into their business and love what they do and it shows! As others have said, the place is kept clean and machines are new. They have ample various size washer and driers. I'm not sure of the area but I feel safe inside the laundromat. They have actual working security cameras and care about all their patrons. It's the first time I've ever been to a laundry place that I've felt comfortable with leaving while washing and drying without worrying that someone would steal my things. The owners make an effort to watch over everything. The parking lot isn't the biggest and is shared with other businesses. Enter via Royal to get a prime parking spot in front. According to Jenny, it's busy on weekends, especially Sunday's. She still sometimes gives out treats and weekend morning coffee. It's a kid friendly place. She puts on movies for the kiddies to keep them occupied while you do your thing. It was worth the trek 'cross to another city! Glad I found this place! read more

This is by far the cleanest laundermat I have been to in years!!! Found this place just because of the Yelp review and was happy I went. The owner is on site and is very friendly. He gave candy to the kids, plays children movies on the tv screen, has a full vending machine and has a bill to bill exchanger as well as multiple coin change machines. He also handed out raffle tickets based on how many washers you used for a chance to win a flat screen tv or cash. Lots of big washers and dryers to use. Got here about 10am & place was semi busy. I was still able to find plenty of available washers. The only really bad thing I would say is the washers don't have a timer count down. Limited parking. Owner was very rude would not let us unload our laundry before parking. Mind you we were not blocking anyone and I was leaving my husband with the van in case it needed to me moved. This place deserves all 5 stars based on the cleanliness, the business owners positive attitudes and welcoming spirits, and the overall atmosphere. cleanest laundry spot in Hayward I've ever been to so far. Been to the one at Jackson and Winton next to the donut and the one at Tennyson behind Carl's Jr. People are friendly and the lady that appears to be the owner/keeper is always roaming around looking for any dirty spot on the floor and if she sees one she mops it. There's TV showing the Gold Cup finals, theres vending machine for snacks and refreshments, and its cool that one of their machine breaks a $20 bill into $5 bills! My experience here is great! Found my go to spot for when our washer breaks. One catch is since its on Hayward A street, while i was outside eating biscuit this guy walks up to me asking for change unfortunately i used them all already so i told him i dont have any he still insists that maybe i have .50 or a quarter coz he's hungry, i just told him he can have the rest of the biscuits. he took it took one bite and threw it away. ungrateful mofo. read more
