Before bringing them in, I specifically called and asked if I could drop them off Monday and have them ready by Friday because I needed them for the wedding the following day. I was told that would not be a problem. I dropped the suit pants off Monday around 5 PM and even brought a pair of my already-tailored slacks for them to use as a reference for the exact length I wanted. I again confirmed that BOTH pairs would be ready Friday. When I arrived Friday around 5 PM to pick them up, they could not find either pair of pants. I was then told their alterations are actually sent to another location. I spoke with Adrian, who told me he could not locate my pants and thought they might be at the alteration shop on Mission Blvd., but couldn't confirm because the owner wasn't answering. I ended up driving to that shop MYSELF, where the owner confirmed she did not have them. At this point, it was Friday evening, the wedding was the NEXT DAY, and nobody could tell me where either pair of my pants was. One pair belonged to a brand-new suit, and the other was my own tailored pair that I had only brought in as a reference. I was now left scrambling at the last minute to find an entirely new suit. Thankfully, I managed to find another store that had a suit in my size, and they recommended a tailor who was able to alter it for me in about 20 minutes. I was incredibly fortunate, but I never should have been put in that situation in the first place. Afterward, I texted Adrian a copy of my receipt showing exactly how much I had to spend on a replacement suit because they lost my pants. I told him that if he wanted to make the situation right, he could reimburse me for the replacement suit--not even including what I had to pay for the emergency tailoring. He never reimbursed me. Worse, I received no response at all. I was simply ignored. That is what ultimately made this experience unacceptable to me. Mistakes can happen, but losing TWO pairs of a customer's pants immediately before an important event and then ignoring the customer after they had to spend their own money fixing their mistake shows a complete lack of accountability. I had used this dry cleaner before and had positive experiences with the previous owner, which is why I trusted them. Had I known the business was under new ownership, I would have taken my suit to the cleaner I normally use in Newark. Lesson learned. I should have listened to my gut. Between losing both pairs of my pants, the panic of having no suit the night before a wedding, the unexpected expense of buying and tailoring another suit, and then being ignored afterward, I will never bring my clothes here again.

Instead of returning items neatly steamed on hangers with protective covering, they now hand them back folded in a paper bag. It feels rushed and lacks the care they used to provide.
