Great cleaning service overall. They missed a few corners, but the team was friendly and efficient.

TL;DR: Denise and Karla came early, great attitude but used my cleaning supplies (sprays, mop, scrubers, etc.) and didn't wipe down most surfaces, dust anything and the kitchen was horrendously done (didn't clean the sink grate, grime on the stove still there, didn't dust the light fixtures, cabinets not wiped down etc.). The owner was very kind and offered for them to come back and correct mistakes but they missed so much, it seemed like a waste of time to have the same duo try again. ____ Longer review: Booking is a little confusing, you go to the website and put in a request and it say's 'BOOK NOW' but it's actually a request, not a confirmed booking. Feel like the website should say 'REQUEST NOW' so there's no confusion. The owner does take a few days to confirm but usually the times on the website are accurate to the availability of the teams. Also, I actually first tried to book Bright and fresh just to clean the a few rooms last year but if you don't book your whole house you unfortunately have to convert to an hourly rate which is almost twice as much, and there's no flexibility on the pricing. Fair enough, but as a result I waited to until it was a good time to do the whole house. Cut to yesterday, the team cleaned faster than anyone has ever cleaned my house ....and it showed. To start, I asked them if they needed anything, they said no. I dipped out to lunch came back and it was clear they had rummaged through all my kitchen and bathroom cabinets looking for supplies (felt a bit weird they did that and didn't ask first). They used my Tilex, tile scrubbers, my mop...not sure what else tbh...but cleaning supplies are expensive so that kind of thing adds up over time. Now I also have to clean and dry my mop. They also missed an incredible amount of stuff (a few examples attached in the pictures). I spent about an hour cleaning after them and still didn't get to everything they missed. Finally, the website has a very large section called 'extras'. This includes things I would have thought should be included in a standard clean like 'interior windows', 'blinds' and 'baseboards'...so just keep that in mind when you're looking at the pricing. I personally didn't select any extras because I wanted to see what it as like and they really did not touch the windows, baseboards, etc....but you got to respect that! However, because the website was so granular about what they wouldn't do, I thought the cleaning would be much better. 2 stars are for the owner who is super nice, responsive via messages etc. Again she did offer for the team to come and course correct but that is just stressful to me. She also offered 20% off of the clean, which I accepted. Lastly, she did say it wasn't typical for a team to use supplies without asking and that she would speak to them about that. read more

I've been looking for cleaning services for my apartment for a while now and finally decided to book an appointment. I did a lot of research and talked to a few cleaning services and eventually narrowed it down to Bright N Fresh. Their was a little issue while trying to book---I hadn't heard from them for days in the middle of communication and became hesitant to book with them. When I expressed my concern, Sharon (the owner) apologized for the delay due to a busy week and set everything up right away. Prices are extremely reasonable and I was told Sharon would personally check up on me during my initial cleaning. I had two wonderful cleaners come 20 minutes early but I was told ahead of time that the appointment time could vary give or take 20 minutes so I was already prepared for that. Once they started cleaning, Sharon texted me to make sure everything was going smoothly. She answered my texts and questions immediately throughout the appointment and she even asked for permission before adding any add-ons. This was especially nice because my roommate who speaks Spanish wasn't home and it seemed like they didn't know English very well so I was worried about communication. Now, our place was extremely messy since I work too much to clean all the time and we have pets so I was asked if I would like to pay for an additional half hour and I was told exactly how much it would cost at the time. I was grateful for the transparency and agreed to the extra add-on. Sharon is extremely straightforward when it comes to add-ons so you don't get blindsided. They took 2 hours to clean my apartment and were very sweet and courteous. When they left, they almost left without their tip. My dog ran downstairs when I went to give it to them and one of the ladies was very sweet to him too. I texted Sharon immediately after they left and set up recurring appointments with them. The attentiveness I received from not only the cleaning ladies but also the owner during their cleaning visit from beginning to end was a pleasant surprise. I used Bright N Fresh on a Friday night at 6:30PM, as I needed to get my small studio apartment cleaned (~400 sq ft). The booking process was simple, as I initiated the conversation via Yelp Message, and was able to get instant replies for questions on the booking process. I've been on a hunt for a consistent cleaning service in the West LA area. Unfortunately, I don't think the cleaning was that great - while the bathroom was cleaned thoroughly as well as the kitchen, there were basic parts in my studio apartment that did not get covered or really organized. Two of my tables were left uncleaned, and while the cleaners did stay for 2.5 hours, it just wasn't enough. When I asked, they had said they had no time, and had to go. read more

Couple of things to note regarding booking online forum - book off of bedrooms, NOT square footage. Square footage isn't actually honored. I also liked the option to select additional items like "baseboards" and "inside windows" however, I personally wouldn't opt in for these things again because they weren't done. Floor mats, trash, hamper, trash cans I had to go around putting things back where they were 2/ The cleaning of windows is terrible, streaks and splotches all over 3/ Left one of my candles on. Sharon was professional, friendly and clear in her answers. During the time of the cleaning she was following up to make sure everything was going perfect which I appreciate. Rosa showed up very punctual. She was neat and had all her appliances. We did a quick walk through of the house and I pointed out specific things to focus on (I realized she already knew those things because I also gave the same instructions when I booked). At the end, we did a walk through again and everything was immaculate. Rosa did a great job and she was very professional. For sure I'm using their service again and requesting Rosa. Bright n Fresh just finished cleaning my home! The two ladies were very nice and Sharon my point of contact was very responsive. The two cleaning ladies made my beds with fresh sheets, and did an incredible job and did not go over the time frame I paid for and still got all of the work I asked to be done, done. They took out and disposed of all of the trash and everything is sparkling. They arrived on time and worked around my two little kids who were supposed to be in school but weren't because of Cesar Chavez day. The price was one of the best quotes I got as well. We were able to book the service last minute (literally for the very next morning) and our cleaner Lorena did a fantastic job. She wore a mask the entire time and she was prompt, thorough and very friendly. AVOID. Were they even here? I guess a few things moved around and the floors are damp. Seriously half ass work, floors are not scrubbed just wetted. Kitchen tiles still have juice drippings remnants. Leaving real wood floors damp is the worst thing you can do. Re-arranging things in the most illogical and unnecessary way. JUST PUT THINGS BACK THE WAY IT WAS. Still finding random things in obviously wrong places. Everything from like putting utensils away, mixing the forks/spoons/knives when there is a spot for them clearly, pots and pans all mixed up, everything on counter just shoved into a drawer. Ran dishwasher on WOODEN items that clearly shouldn't be dishwashed. Leaving smelly trash in the living room instead of taking it out or leaving it outside the door. Pretty terrible cleaning job, hair and dust still remain. Used up half a roll of jumbo paper towels too. Did not bring a vacuum. Cursory job all around. They won't move items to clean, just clean around them. Quickest clean ever. which is not a good thing. For the extra price with all these add ons, you can easily find cheaper and better in LA. Lastly, MASKS NEED TO GO OVER AND SNUG YOUR NOSE. NOT USED AS A CHINSTRAP WHEN CLEANING. AVOID read more

We contacted them through Yelp and responded to their text message to set up an appointment. Over all, the cleaning was ok but not up to reasonable expectations. We expected far more with a deep cleaning which we paid for. Beds were not properly made, fingerprints were left on the touchscreens of both the oven and the microwave. Although the mirrors were cleaned well, there were other glass and tile surfaces where you could see that small Items on the countertops had ben cleaned around, instead of being moved so that the entire surface could be cleaned. Too many surfaces were cleaned with a wet towel and not dried, so there were lots of streaks, including the granite floors. There were other things that could have been done much better also. These are all things that I would expect an experienced cleaning person to know and do as a matter of routine. It seems you sent us an inexperienced crew, which will lead to bad reviews and we will not be using your services in the future. read more
