Communication was very great! It was super easy to schedule the cleaners and it was also very easy to pay. I was slightly disappointed with the amount of cleaning completed by two cleaners for 3 hours. Our priorities were kitchen and bathroom. Overall cleaning was ok and serviceable but some pretty disgusting marks missed in the bathroom toilet, sink head, and inside the drawers were sticky. I would say they are fine for a "meets the eye" cleaning but if you need a thorough DEEP CLEAN, they are not thorough with poor attention to detail. We even pointed it out to them during the final walkthrough and they went back to fix it (didn't do anything), and this is what I came back to. Should mention they offer to "make things right" and still billed me a 15 min overage after seeing these pictures then just stopped responding. Dont let the reviews fool you - this company is unprofessional or not suited for an actual cleaning to get ready for move in. We ended up cleaning it ourselves with our hands / brushes and it came right off. Oh also the cleaners speak absolutely no English whatsoever. You'll be coordinating with someone over text/phone/Yelp to give them directions because they can't talk to you at all. Quite annoying and not as advertised. read more

I really love this cleaning service. They came recommended to me by a trusted friend and my sister had two angels clean for her a few years ago and was satisfied with their work. I knew it was my turn. I clean weekly but sometimes, you need some extra hands to deep clean in the small spaces. The going rate is $75/hour with a minimum of 4 hours. However, if you add their email to their email list, you'll find that there are coupons offered throughout the year which is a lifesaver! So I took advantage of the coupon, went to the site, filled out the form and got a quote emailed to me the next day. I accepted and the payment was done online through a password enabled PDF so my information is kept safe. There were no surprises: my Angel Arcely had a 45 min grace period to arrive (it's LA so, traffic) and she called me to let me know she'd come in 30 mins after my appointment time (& still honored the 4-hour window). Arcely had all the supplies - didn't need anything from me and is so friendly, bubbly and happy to be of service. I really just needed a clean in my small kitchen, bathrooms and common areas and utilized the whole time. My goodness, it was a relief to get my shelves dusted, oven cleaned and corners I don't always have time to get to sparkle. What I loved is that she'd check with me if the clean was sufficient before mopping. Yes!! And I work from home so we both did our thing just fine. I also have a cat in the house and she loved her, so I appreciate fellow kitty ladies. I've already recommended Arcely to my family and recommended her to you. I gave one star for being responsive with most of my questions, and another star for showing up... However, that bar is set extremely low. I was charged $495 for a two bedroom one bath vacant unit, that took them 3.45 hours and the empty, almost brand new fridge wasn't even touched, among other things. I felt completely taken advantage of because I wasn't there. Done photos below are of the outside and inside of the fridge. It would have been so easy to wipe the front, and the inside. While the cleaners were there they said they needed more time because it was so dirty.. and send photos of a toilet bowl, a bath tub with some random hair in it, an empty cabinet, under the sink (which looks like rust stains) and old wooden blinds... I can't imagine how expensive it would be for an actual dirty house with furniture. read more

I needed a deep cleaning of my studio apartment. They were easy to communicate with and called when the original cleaner felt under the weather to see if I was okay with two people coming for 2 hours instead of one for 4. The bathroom and kitchen looked great, and they cleaned behind the toilet and really scrubbed the stove. However, I'm extremely disappointed for the price that the super basic cleaning things weren't done. Except for the bathroom and kitchen, none of the surfaces were cleaned or dusted, I still had dust on my walls, they clearly didn't vacuum, and there were water stains on my kitchen floor. I was out of town so I had my mom let them in, and she said that while the man who was cleaning the kitchen was working hard, the woman who was supposedly "cleaning" the living room was doing fake sweeping motions, which would explain why nothing in the living room was clean (again, it's a studio apartment! It's not that big! It would have taken 5 minutes) I'm glad the price reflects that they probably pay their employees a living wage, but the fact that I paid $240 for the most basic things to not be cleaned means I won't be using them again. read more

Someone tell this company it's August, because my experience here seemed to be one giant April Fools joke. Except I wasn't laughing. My roommate and I moved locations and our new apartment had been cleaned months prior but due to all the tours and dust build up we decided we wanted to get a good cleaning before moving in. Our usual cleaners were out of town so we went on yelp and saw great reviews for this business. We were told the minimum service was just under $400 for a 3 hour minimum, way more than we typically pay but it was short notice so we accepted. On the day of the cleaning, the team of 2 was supposed to arrive at 1:30pm. She calls and says she's running late and they arrive at 2:10pm. I do the initial walk through (at this point there is essentially nothing in the apartment) and I tell her we just moved in, and want to get rid of a lot of the dirt and dust especially on the floors and in the bathroom. My roommate went to run errands, so I waited at the apartment while they were "cleaning". One of the ladies came into the room I was in and started asking me how much rent I pay, what I do for work, how can I afford rent for being young, etc. I thought it was weird but figured she was just trying to be friendly. I sit outside and call my brother, only to be waved inside by the lady around 3:20pm. She tells me, everything is all clean, "the place wasn't even that dirty but we cleaned the floors 5 times". Confused but ok. I said I thought there was a 3 hour minimum? Her response is "this company overcharges way too much and is a rip off" and she gives me her personal phone number and says if I like the service, to contact her directly and she'll charge me half the price. She runs out the door before I could say anything else. Immediately I call the main office and ask if I still have to pay the $400 since the minimum was 3 hours, and they stayed for less than half of that time then left in such a hurry. The person originally says I won't be charged in full, only to call back after talking to the cleaning team who claimed I KICKED THEM OUT!?!? She tells me that the cleaning team says I forced them out of the apartment, so I have to pay for the full service and that the girl warned me of their minimum (which obviously she didn't). I proceeded to tell the person on the phone that their employee was bad mouthing the company and trying to sell me on the side AND SHE STILL DIDN'T BELIEVE ME. She said it was a "she said she said" situation that was just a simple "miscommunication". She said the best she could do was charge me $185 which I should be grateful for as they never make exceptions. After spending a few hours in the apartment after the "cleaning", it was very clear that NOTHING was cleaned. This was partially my fault, I guess when using a new service I should have been watching them more closely and tried to force (?) them to do a better job? Pics attached, it was disgusting. I even sent the photos to the office as proof of the poor service and she just replies "thanks for sending!" not even acknowledging or apologizing at all. This experience actually pissed me off a lot (clearly) because my roommate and I are two quiet, young Asian girls just out of college and I feel like we were taken advantage of and not treated with respect. The company acted like we were just trying to skrrrt out of the price which was not the case at all, we just wanted a clean new home! Long story short, I asked to speak to the manager and she goes "I am the manager" (I was shook tbh) so I asked to speak to the owner, to which she told me "the owner doesn't engage in these types of conversations". Lol wut the owner doesn't care her employees aren't doing their job, are trying to scam and steal business, AND the customer service is just making the customer feel shitty!? I just.. wow. After lots more back and forth, we settled on $85 which was really whatever at this point. Apparently we still had to pay the team to drive to our place and try to scam us. Amazing! Comes off professional when it comes down to booking. But as job arrives looks like from a cheap third company hired, not come prepared for the job needed. Listed everything that would be encountered inside the property and what needed to pay attention since this units is empty from a tenant that just moved out. So will be needing a COMPLETE DEEP CLEAN FROM WALLS/WINDOWS TO ALL THE APPLIANCES ( in and out of it ) What I got is just a simple wipe down, notified how unhappy I was but their response is that this was a deep cleaning because of the chemical used from wipe down. Me coming to them when I could done this myself was because I was in my 3rd trimester. But I still finished the job they had left behind. Steam mop the stains off the floor that took seconds, wiping things down with more effort. They reach out to me when I had post my unsatisfied interaction from their communication and work. The owner beg to have a second chance if I take down this post for she cared about her customer and her business. After hearing her out and thought she had my best interest, she ghosted me without any follow up to that promise after I had taken it down. Avoid at all costs. They are more expensive than many other providers so you would think you are getting more but you are not. I scheduled an appointment, verified it multiple times and even got a text saying they would be arriving soon and then they just never showed up. No one was answering the phone or responding to emails either so I sat waiting for hours unsure of what was happening. Their excuse was that it was a holiday so the office was closed, but why schedule an appt for a holiday if you are unreachable and cant handle a situation like this? Just be closed... Finally the next day they get back to me saying they can reschedule. When I press that they should provide some kind of discount for my wasted time they offer $10. Total joke, that is what they think of their customers' time. Don't believe the paid positive reviews, they are unreliable and don't do the right thing when they screw up. read more

DO Not use. Used them for a post construction clean, signed up for the "window specialist" last Friday, 4/28. We were moving into the house on the 29th. From the beginning it was disorganized and I should have gone with someone else. I had to email several times and finally have a call to book the cleaning and the day before someone reached out asking if I wanted to book a cleaning On the day of the clean Three cleaners and the window specialist were supposed to show, one cleaner didn't make it because of a "family emergency. The window cleaner, just didn't clean 4 windows, the windows that he did clean were still covered in dirt. the regular cleaners had to clean the windows I paid extra for. One of the cleaners was annoyed that the third cleaner didn't show, she was rude and kept calling the office to complain. We did have people still installing drawer fronts in the kitchen so we told them not to worry about that. I had to tell them 4 times to clean the inside of the other windows and everything was still covered in dust. They kept claiming that the dirt was on the outside so I kept showing them the dirt. The floors were still dusty. At a certain point I just let them go because it was diminishing returns. I sent the office pictures on Friday to show that the work wasn't being done. I didn't hear back until Saturday at which point my wife went over to the house to clean while I oversaw the movers moving us out. We finally heard back on Monday when they offered to have a "touch up crew" come over, but at that point we and our housekeeper had fully cleaned the house. they apologized and offered to reduce the cost to $900, but we refused to pay it, we didn't hear back until we got an email saying we were going to be charged the full amount of $1200 and then immediately got the invoice for the charge. read more

Alejandra and Olga from Amy's Angels have been doing monthly cleanings for us since Sept 2022 and they are doing a wonderful job. In three hours, they are able to efficiently clean our (3br/2ba) home, top to bottom. What we love about Alejandra and Olga's work: 1) They arrive on time and finish their work in a timely manner. 2) They are always pleasant to be around and are receptive to our cleaning requests (for example, please start in this room, could you be careful about this thing, etc.) 3) Our house always looks (and smells) amazing when they are done! One of the best things is, in the next few days after their visit, I keep noticing little things that they've cleaned, straightened, or made better! Hah! I was so disappointed and , actually, disgusted, with this service that it's taken me several weeks to write about this horrendous experience . The company advertises complete deep cleaning and that is what we needed. I let them know that the 2 bedroom apartment had been painted and had a new 1/2 bathroom installed (never used yet), was 99% empty, and in need of a thorough, deep clean before our move in. They quoted $650 and bragged about how amazing they were. The reviews looked like I couldn't go wrong, but I now believe that they pay people to write reviews. First: What a start! The three women who showed up were unfriendly, unenthusiastic, sloppily dressed, couldn't communicate, and gave me up and down looks when I greeted them and attempted to be friendly and communicative. One complained about having to move her car at a certain time, and seemed angry when it was explained to her that after 6pm it is standard, and that there ware dozens of parking spaces within two blocks. She was visibly pissed off. (My weekly house cleaner figures it out and has never assumed that I needed to provide parking for her. When I asked if they could slide a mattress over, (which was standing and leaning against a wall) and clean the hardwood floor behind it, she said "no" because she "doesn't have insurance for that". There were three of them, remember. My handyman did it for her, and I later found out from him that this woman asked him many questions about me, one being " does she has a lot of money? " What? I left, and my handyman let them out. The payment was made online. The next day when I arrived I immediately noticed that they did a surface clean...that's it. Nothing special AT All. My weekly cleaner makes thins shine, and this was clearly a rush job. Next: Two days later a lightbulb had to be changed on a ceiling fan in one of the two bedrooms . My electrician happened to be there so he hopped up in his ladder and let out a giant "Yech". He took out his camera to show me the ceiling fan blades and light fixture. (I have photos attached.) it was so disgustingly filthy, and by now I realized that I had been totally scammed by this company. The promise they gave when I made the first phone call was that they do a complete janitorial type cleaning for this price. There was also more boasting to go along with that! Last: I sent an email with pictures to the company and asked for 1/2 of my money back, sent them the photos, and the insulting response said, in a nutshell, that they are not insured to get on ladders, and if I wanted fans and light fixtures dusted it was my responsibility to ask them to bring "extender dust poles" to do this without climbing. I may be hallucinating, but I believe that every weekly basic house cleaner I've ever seen automatically brings the extended duster to get basic cobwebs and dust up high. The company offered me $40 back. As the next few days of that week went by I started to notice cobwebs in the upper corners of every room. Tremendous cleaning. My mom broke her foot right before the holidays, and we needed to have the house cleaned last minute, so I hired Amy's angels cleaning to come over last minute to her home. They were able to open their schedule and send two Maids to clean her house from 9 AM to 12 PM on Saturday for a holiday cleaning. The maids, Kriscia and Ingrid, made the house look amazing. They got every crack and Regions that were concealed from the average eye. Kriscia and Ingrid dusted off all my mother's decorations on her bookshelves. The microwave and even inside her toaster oven. Kriscia and Ingrid cleaned in the side cracks of our oven and the countertop, where food drops. Kriscia and Ingrid cleaned it thoroughly. Kriscia and Ingrid moved everything out of the way to clean it all and then put everything back just how they found it. We have tough water, so the rock flooring in my mother's shower always has white water spots that are extremely hard to get off, and they got all the hard water spots and even shined the rocks. Kriscia and Ingrid were very polite. Kriscia and Ingrid genuinely cared because they asked us to overlook what they did because Kriscia and Ingrid wanted to be confident that they cleaned everything that was needed. Kriscia and Ingrid smiled and seemed very happy the entire time. Also, for me, it was very nice to talk over emails as I was working when my mom needed a maid to hire. Fast reply and was able to explain and answer all my questions. She tried to call, but I instantly sent an email stating I couldn't talk over the phone the only email, and she immediately understood my needs and was able to accommodate me. We've used three other companies before and was not completely happy. This time so late, I knew it was going to be a small chance to find anyone to assist my mom. Amy's angles were the first company to reply to. Three companies did get back to me but with higher prices or not a flat rate. Amy's angels gave me a flat rate and two maids. I fired Amy's Angels Cleaning on Friday, after they had been my regular cleaner for six months. The cleaning staff is pretty good. They're not great, but decent and never had anything broken or gone missing. The front office staff is friendly and responsive. The problem comes in the communication between the front office and the cleaners. Of my 13 cleanings, more than half had issues. The schedule would change at the last minute, the cleaner didn't show up, the cleaner wasn't told how to access the house, the cleaner was new and no one prepped them for what my house needed, and several times they were supposed to collect keys and didn't. It took several weeks and several phone calls for us to finally agree on some sort of house access, despite promises that everything was fine. The explanation for this was almost always "Well, because COVID". I get COVID has taken its toll, but we're 18 months in, and it seems that they could've adjusted by now. Finally, in general, this is the most expensive service ($49/cleaner/hour) I've ever used, and they're VERY slow - 4 hours for a basic clean on a 1300 sq ft house. My new service is half the price, which is more in line with what I've had in the past. To sum up: Nice people, decent work, overpriced and slow but that would all be manageable if the front office could get its act together. It can't, and that made Amy's Angels completely untenable for me. read more

I initially wasn't going to post a review because I didn't think the service was worth the money IMO but after a follow up call today (a month after the cleaning), I was reminded of this experience... Our house needed a DEEP cleaning of the common areas only, no bedrooms. I stated this when requesting a quote and again when filling out intake forms before the appointment. It's as if the office doesn't review these details with the cleaners because I had to repeat to them on-site, what I've filled out already. What's the point of the form then? I'm not going after the cleaners themselves because they were really nice but moreso the office for having to repeat. So with the cleaning, while the house was in better shape, you bet I was recleaning everything at the end of the day. My swiffer rag was black after redoing the floors. It seems I paid close to $400 for just a standard cleaning. What's interesting is that on this follow up call, I saw the caller ID and decided to answer. I expressed my honest opinion and the lady just thanked me and hung up. No resolution offered or additional inquiry on what could've been done better, etc. If you're going to go thru all this trouble, you might as well engage with your customers to do better. I'm not expecting a free recleaning (though wouldn't it be nice) but maybe a discount on the next one or something to try again... Perhaps I'm biased because I work in customer service and was really hopeful they could make it right... read more

Don't use this service, they are completely unreliable and overpriced. We hired them to do a move-out cleaning of our apartment, and they canceled the day before, which left us no time to find someone else. The person I spoke to arranged the date and time and took my payment. She said she would email me a contract to sign prior to the cleaning. When I received it, it had the wrong address. I pointed this out to her, and she said she would adjust and send a new contract. I never received another contract, despite messaging her several times about it. When she finally got back to me she said that it was too late and my spot was given up. I told her I didn't understand how this could happen, I had made the appointment and given her payment. She never sent the corrected contract and then gave up my spot? Of course she never responded. They truly do not care, avoid them at all costs. read more

I booked two cleaners for a post-remodeling, move-in deep cleaning service. I get that the house is dusty and sizable and there are plenty to do. They were slow and inefficient and chatted on the phone a lot. Of course they couldn't finish in time, they asked for 2.5 additional hours. We got so frustrated with the lazy attitude and lousy performance that we just let them go at the end of the originally booked time. I had to hire a different company to finish the job. The one cleaner who came today cleaned better in less time, followed instructions better, charged less hourly rate, than the two from yesterday. Plus, the cleaner today had to redo some of the lousy work done yesterday. There are better choices out there. UPDATE: 6/16/21: The owner Amy reached out and tried everything in her power to make things right. I'm adding 2 more stars to the review, because I do appreciate the effort very much. In the service industry, it's hard to find help who are qualified while balancing everything and keeping the business afloat. The ladies in the front office are great and responsive. Hopefully after the pandemic subsides, Amy will be able to again find help who's capable and who cares. read more

I chose this company because of the number of positive reviews. Amy's Angeles is probably a good standard residential cleaning service, but this is not what I requested. I had asked for a move out cleaning, assuming it was a professional move-out service. The house is an 1,800 sqft house. Two cleaners were sent for 4 hours and did great surface level cleaning, but ignored the deep cleaning. Post-clean photos attached. I had to spend time personally cleaning after the high price I paid. Again, maybe a good regular cleaning service, not a deep clean service. read more

I tried another cleaning company before Amy's Angels and after they left, I noticed they missed some obvious marks which is why I didn't re-hire them. So I turned to Yelp to find someone else. I requested a quote and Amy's Angels responded fairly quickly. I corresponded with her a few times letting her know what I wanted and provided details of my house. I was surprised that they worked on a holiday (Memorial Day) but it worked out and was easy to schedule since we were home. Gloria and Ingrid arrived a bit before the scheduled time. I reviewed with Gloria my "to do" and "do not" list. I didn't need things like laundry or dishes to be done but I wanted them to focus on windows (we have plantation shutters which look nice but are a pain to clean), showers, appliances and floors. They did a great job. The only issue I had was I specifically asked for the appliances to be cleaned including the oven but they missed it. I actually ended up leaving before they were done but my sister was home and I figured she would do a final walk-through with them but I guess she didn't. So it was an oversight on both sides. Other than that, everything was great. I already recommended them to two of my friends in the area. The price was comparable to the other cleaning services so I guess that's the norm? 2 cleaners for 3 hours for a 2-story house with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two cleaners came for 3 hours in Playa Vista. There were a few belongings in the apt but it was pretty clean and needed the bathroom and kitchen cleaned and the rest of the space dusted and vacuumed. On inspection the door moldings weren't touched and still had dust and dirt. So I checked the window sills etc. Same story so I said to clean this areas. I went to my car and returned to find the cleaners looking sheepish standing outside the apt. That's 3 mins to clean all the window sills, door moldings etc! Obviously not done properly but I didn't have the time to wait. On second thoughts I should've held the payment I could've paid the office later. Did I think these cleaners did a minimal job... Yes. Did I think they ignored my request for specific areas to be spot cleaned...Yes. Would I recommend them... Only if you can't find another firm. Looking at the feedback from the owner, which is mostly correct, may be my only complaints are that she didn't call to discuss the problems as she said she would and that her cleaners weren't able to explain they ran out of time and needed to leave for another appointment. read more
