If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm a patient here and I go for orthodontics, I was supposed to have my braces on for 2 and a half years. It's 5 and a half years later, at this point I'm changing orthos. Its absolutely absurd and unjustifiable, I'm exhausted of this place. I had a dental examination at Bright Now, because I was experiencing severe dry mouth and was concerned about the effects on my teeth. The dentist I saw said that I had 25 cavities, and would need to come back and have them filled. They never called me back to have the procedures done; and when I tried to contact them to make an appointment, they wouldn't speak to me or return my calls. I just had an appointment with a new new dentist, and he told me I only have 3 cavities. Three!!! Something shady was going on with Bright Now. I'm stunned and furious. Be careful! read more

I am the daughter of TWO of your elderly patients. They were both very excited to come to your facility and purchase their new teeth. I talk to them daily. Then a few weeks later, they were going back for adjustments, then to try and get them fixed, and another adjustment and trying to get them fixed again, then another adjustment and then again, TRYING TO GET THEM FIXED AGAIN. I think that you see my point. Unfortunately, their teeth still do not fit correctly and they still have trouble eating because of sores in their mouth from their "new teeth". Recently, my dad broke his hip and had to have major surgery for replacement. His whole recuperation and survival are dependent upon the energy that he can expel for physical therapy, but we haven't been able to get him to eat. So, comes to find out the teeth that were made at your facility and "supposedly fixed" hurt his mouth too much for him to eat. We had to take his old teeth to the hospital so that he could eat and now hopefully the sores in his mouth from these "new" teeth will go away. Whomever the lady is that is "fixing" their teeth, is NOT fixing their teeth and from my understanding likes to argue with them and is not very nice. They do not even want to come back there because they say nothing is done and she doesn't listen to their concerns. It doesn't matter how many alignments you do, the teeth DO NOT FIT. My mothers' teeth are too large for her mouth, and she states that they do not suction to the roof of her mouth. She thinks they were made for a person with an overbite, and she has NEVER had an overbite but does now. She tells me that she can only eat certain foods because of her teeth. WHAT?? They have both had dentures for OVER 45 years, this is not new. The only new variance or alteration is your facility. I have watched my parents work and give to the community all of my life, they give to others and do without, they are the personification of the proverbial giving the shirt off their back. These teeth that they cannot eat on AND are too ashamed to talk with, now hold them back. Something needs to be done, something extraordinary and a very strong showing of exemplary service needs to occur. IS there someone that can fix, and I mean TRULY fix/help the teeth they purchased from your facility?? If you can NOT, then you need to refund them so that they can purchase teeth that they can eat their food with. I cannot believe that I am speaking to you about the importance of making teeth correctly and fitted so that someone can EAT. Maybe the job is just a job at your facility, but these are people that should be able to eat, and smile and talk....that's how important your work is. I don't know how far these teeth have set my dad's progression back, if he's not able to eat, he will not be able to recover, do you realize the severity here? read more

I had to pound on the door when the office didn't open at 8:00 am to get someone to open. the receptionist said that they didn't have any 8:00 apps and the dentist wasn't in until 9:00. I did get a confirmation email. No dental hygienist appt until July. that was the entire reason for the visit. Not going back. read more

Went into office under the impression insurance was covering cost of service. Was surprised to get an estimate and bill at the same time after service was completed. Bill was $75 more than estimate. They did not give me option to bill my insurance instead I had to pay the amount on spot. I had to transfer money from my investment to cover the cost. Had they provided an estimate before service, I would have rescheduled. Also, without me knowing, they performed extra work than originally planned. What a nightmare. I went here because I wanted a cleaning and could not get an appointment with my regular dentist while I was home. I was told that I couldn't get a cleaning until I was first examined by the dentist. I had to get X-rays and then waited over 45 minutes to speak with the dentist after my X-rays were taken. After being examined, I was told that my X-rays showed I had four cavities. Since I never had cavities before, I wanted to see where in the X-rays they saw this. They rushed through the images of my teeth, taking less than five seconds to go through the images, assuring me that they were very hard to see because they were so small. Because they were also pushing me to schedule my fillings appointments the same week, I didn't feel comfortable with how fast everything was going. I decided to bite the bullet and pay to get a second opinion at a dentist in the city I'm currently staying in. Funnily enough, their X-rays did not show a single cavity, let alone four. I thought my experience was just a one-off problem, but seeing all of the horror stories about this practice on Connect Elyria, I feel compelled to share my own experience here. For the past two and a half years I have brought my daughters here for braces and I would highly suggest you find another place. The orthodontist is fine, but the office staff is awful. First, you come in for a consult and they tell you all about how they have evening and weekend appointments, you pay, and then realize they're only actually in each office 1, maybe 2 days a week and you can't switch between offices. Plan on having to miss work to work around their very limited availability. If something falls off, which happens with braces, plan on them not being able to get your child in to fix it or having you come in to tell you that the doctors not actually there to fix it. Anticipate sitting for 45-60 minutes in the lobby after your appointment times before they get you in. When they tell you 18-24 months you should also plan on adding an extra 6 months to that. When they tell you they'll call to schedule next appointment, don't believe them, call and call some more until the ortho scheduler actually calls you back to tell you that although the doctor said 6 weeks she can't get you in for 8-10...... save yourself the trouble and find another place! read more

This office is rude and has practices for young children that don't make any sense. They don't allow parents to go back with small children (4 and 5 year olds!!!) when getting work done. I have never not been able to accompany my small children, especially when they are not aware of new spaces! In addition, their staff is not polite and they don't value their patients. Bright Now Dental's scheduling leaves a lot to be desired. Today was the last of several times that I had to leave without being seen. They don't seem to care that we schedule our appts to work within our timetable so that we can meet what is next on our itinerary, such as needing to get to work, pick up kids, get to the next appt, etc. Then they act as if we are being impatient when inquiring how much longer the wait will be after having already waited 45 mins. Bright Now, you need to stop triple or quadrupling your appts or you are going to continue to lose business. read more

Worst dental place ever!! Very rude to me (mind you I'm 6 months pregnant and it's obvious I'm pregnant) they let everyone and their mom in before seeing me and at that point I had to leave for my baby's appointment. I went in 30 minutes earlier then my scheduled appointment and still waited an hour for them, everyone that came in after me got seen before me. When I tried to talk to the lady after I had left she hung up on me. Brite Now Dentals business practices a down right criminal. Went to their Elyria office on chestnut commons after my wife had a pleasant experience there. All I wanted done was to have a sharp point on a chipped molar tooth filed down cause it was tearing up the side of my tongue this is what I experienced and witnessed to their criminal ways. In a total of about 10 visits I ended up walking out never to return again not even having my jagged chipped tooth filed down. They try to upsell you on anything and everything, I have a metal crown on my rear molar tooth because thats all caresource would cover for free at the time i had the work done. If I wanted a proper ceramic one it would have cost $350 out of pocket and I couldn't swing it at that time. I went for it and said yeah fine do it. My temp crown broke 2 days later had to get it replaced. They day I actually paid for the crown the office had 2 different invoices wrote up and I gladly signed for the one costing $100 less than the actual bill of $375 because thats what they asked me to sign. Then they wanted me to get partials done which was fine, took like 6 visits and during one of my visits I heard the office worker tell a woman they didn't even submit for a prior authorization for crown for her husband because Caresource won't cover a crown for an adult. I couldn't help but over hear what i just heard so I spoke up and said yes they will, caresource covered my metal crown free of charge and I'm an adult and as soon as I said that the lady turned to lady turned to talk to meme and the office worker shot her head to the side, starred at me and gave me a dirty look "like why did you have to expose the scam we're trying to pull here"? I politely told the lady don't listen to them caresource will absolutely cover crowns but they olny cover the metal ones not the proper fitting ceramic ones made by the labs. So back to my partial experince, the day I got the fitting of the partials in wax they fit horribly!!!!!!!!!! the dentist was in and out in less than 4 minutes and I was asked to sign a waiver saying the fit was good and the color was correct and. They dentist was already gone and the lady said if i didn't sign it I wouldn't get my next appointment. i told her well i told the dentist they fit horribly and she said oh that is easily fixed the day you get em and to ignore the wording of the waiver i was signing the wording needed changed. Well I wasted my time the fit was god aweful, the dentist ground them down and mangled em so much he was grinding on the bottom side that goes against my gums. After 30 minutes of him grinding down on them he said wear them for 30 days cause it would take some time to adjust to them and then come back for a cleaning. well I wore them 15 minutes and tried eating a bite of soft food and couldn't even chew, it was painfull and thats because they were digging into my gums. I had flaps of gum tissue flopping around for over 3 weeks before they finally healed. All my appointments were on fridays and 5 visits in a row they called me to see if I could come in early with excuses or just cancelled my appointment. They really just wanted to get out early cause it was a friday and my appointments were around 3 PM every time. My last visit that i walked out of they called me asking me to come in early at 2pm instead of 3 i said can't do 2PM but I can be there at 12:45 they said fine come in. I sat in the chair for over an hour and noone spoke to me so i got up and left being late for what i had scheduled. Jokes on them i wasted my time and have a pair of partials that are useless but I just got a letter from caresource saying they are not covering the partials because I had another set made 6 years ago by another hack dental group named "leidenheimer dental" out of lorain. They never filed for prior authorization like they claimed so they aint getting paid and I'm not paying them either. They are idiots with no actual training or organization scamming people while not providing patients with the actual care they need or ask for! Stay away from all Brite Now locations! read more

EXCELLENT facility! State of the art equipment, very clean. While in waiting room, receptionist made a simple confirmation call and when done she growled, and threw her head down with her hands scrunching her hair. Appointment receptionist was knowledgeable and helpful. Dentist didn't tell me anything about my cavities. What teeth? Where? How bad? Didn't know I was getting a numbing shot when she stuck me with the needle. Didn't know drilling was going to be involved. Dr didn't acknowledge my concerns. I asked about a tiny chip in front tooth, if it could be filed (twice) and she ignored. I was just the next patient they needed to get out of there. This hellhole honestly deserves less than one star. I went there today as a new patient for a 3 p.m. appointment with a Dr. Fahreen Pardhan. Couldn't tell you if she did a good job because I NEVER SAW HER. I got there at 2:45p.m. with my new patient paperwork in hand then sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. Soon, the 3:30p.m. appointments were being called back. By 3:45 I looked at reception and she check and said I was next. By 4:10 the 4:00 appts were being called back. By 4:20 I got up, told reception to cancel my appointment and I better not be billed. There was no explanation or apology. All she said was "Okay." I don't think this place could be any more unprofessional! You shouldn't have to wait over and hour and a half with no explanation. I will never go back to this Elyria location or any other Bright now dental offices. What a crock this place is. read more

I can't brag about this place enough. I had a dental emergency and had already spoken with a few friends and they told me stories about the nightmare I was awaiting because of my tooth. I was given an appt that very same day and when I came in, I was in tears ... Terrible lack of compassion!! My 12 year old son had multiple teeth that needed to be pulled and was hesitant to let them begin. The dentist got annoyed and went to help other patients instead of giving him a minute to gather his courage. She just told him that she's had younger kids go through this just fine... I don't know why it's been such a process getting my dental records from them but they have given me such a hard time about it and have yet to receive them. Called twice and they said it would be emailed. Still don't have them and by law you are supposed to have access to your dental records. Also ended up getting a second opinion with a new dentist needing a "deep" cleaning which they said i needed and to my surprise the 2nd dentist said "no you don't" and boom got my teeth cleaned on the spot. Awful,awful experience. I wanted to try a new dentist after moving to the area, so I booked a cleaning on a Saturday morning. Never again! I walked in 10 minutes before my appointment and the waiting room was already packed. After 30 minutes, they took me over to get x-rays. I had to wait another 45 minutes to speak with the dentist. After the dentist examined me, she told me my X-rays showed I had four cavities. I get my teeth checked and cleaned regularly (every six months), so this was a surprise, since my previous dental visit with a different provider had showed no cavities at all. The dentist assured me that the cavities were small and could be only seen on the x-rays. I had to insist to get my cleaning done on the same days because, unlike every other dental facility, they believe in scheduling two separate appointments for getting your teeth checked and cleaned. The receptionist was trying to push me to schedule my fillings appointments withing the next week, and, after I told her I was going to think about it, she became extremely rude. The following week I went to see a different dentist and, surprise surprise, no cavities! These people are insurance scammers and deserve to be shut down. read more

I had a tooth pulled by Siem Salameh. It did not heal properly and I am having severe pain. I paid almost $600.00 for the extraction. I made a follow up appointment two months later. I saw Siem Salameh and she had her assistant take an x-ray. I tried to show her where the pain was and she became very aggressive toward me. We had words and she grabbed the chain on my neck that holds the dental bib. She ripped it from my neck and threw it in the floor. I went to the Elyria Police and filed an assault complaint. Now the office manager, Chris, is refusing to let another dentist see me or give me and antibiotic for my infection. read more

on about 5/1/09 i had my teeth pulled for dentures due to alot of dental problems.well i decide to go to bright now dental , 1st mistake .when i had my consultaion they told me it would only take 6 wks to get my dentures.when in fact it took till about sept . to recieve them .then i was told tat it would be a few visits to get them adjusted rite. well on 11/18/09 they precedded to tell me they ground them so far down that they would need to send them back to the lab to have new ones done.and that i would need to payy for them,well after i told them a few choice words . i decided to talk to the office manager , and get ahold of my insurance co. wel the office manager told me that she would try to get the lab to do them for free . well being tired of the whole situation i told her to refund my money back to the insurance co. and i will go to another dentist . well she then told me that she will fight the insurance co. well to make a long story shorter i contacted the state dental board and just for the rest of u that has the same problem with bright now that web site is www.statedental board .com file a grievance. and also contact the complaint dept. at bright now dentals corporate office at 714-668-1300 read more
