Id like to give it a 4 because the staff is nice, clean office and you can tell they're trying too, but we waited an hour to be seen ,people signed in after us and went ahead of us when we were here at least 20mins before they came in and signed in . If I could leave zero stars I would! I've been going to this dentist for 13 years, and they have gone so down hill. This past visit was the absolute worst and I won't be back. I had an appt a while back to confirm I needed a root canal which was in and out 30 minutes tops. I called to schedule the appt recently was never informed I needed to see another specialist for possible lenghting of a crown, okay no problem made the appt made the appt for the root canal and the appt for the other Dr as well, only to call back before I go on vacation to be informed I need to see the Dr for the crown before the getting the root canal, wasn't told this so I had no choice but to cancel one appt for the other. I originally just wanted to have the tooth pulled but the dr for the root canal told me it wouldn't be a good idea. I find out the dr for the crown is the same one to pull a tooth if wanted so that's what I choose. Fast forward to my appt on Friday at 9:30. I get there about 9 just in case I could be seen early yea well jokes on me I wasn't informed they were running behind. About 10:30 I ask how much longer the wait will be I get told a few more minutes! Minutes!!!!!! 11:30 comes around and still nothing at this point there were multiply people in the lobby waiting and we were all upset because they were being told 30 minuets! I finally got taken back because I was making a fuss in the lobby and I'm sure just to shut me up in front of everyone they call me back where you guessed it I wanted until almost 12 for the dr to come in and even start! At this point I told him I hadn't eaten since 8 for the appt and he questioned the office why if took them so long to call me back he covered everything up and told them to leave the room along sent me next door to eat and took me back right away when I got back. He was the only silver lining to this appt. Almost 4 hours in this place for something that took 15 minutes! Never again. Worst experience of my life, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

On Thursday March 14th I was scheduled for a root canal. My appointment was for 11:30 a.m. I arrived at 11:28 a.m. and was asked to take a seat in the waiting room. I waited there for 55 minutes and at 12.25 I was ushered into the treatment area where I waited another 65 minutes. At 1:30 p.m. I asked the dentist as he passed by the room I was in, "if I ever was going to see the doctor?" The dentist then berated me and asked, angrily, "do you want to be taken care of?" I replied "yes I do". He then went off to look at the xray that had been taken of my mouth. Returning he informed me that I needed 2 root canals (not 1) and that the cost would be more than $3000. This came as quite a shock to me. Since I don't have $3000 to spend on root canals, I was forced to leave without being treated. This is a sad commentary on the quality of service you proport to provide. Not only did Bright Now waste 2 hours of my time but it appears that the dentist deliberately misdiagnosed my dental need in order to get rid of me and satisfy his temper tantrum. Had a great experience. The lady at the front desk was so helpful when it came to my insurance and even helped me with financing. Dr. Hecht was so gentle and explained everything in a langue I could understand. Very happy!! read more

While the staff is friendly, they are not efficient nor thorough. I had a 10:00 apt and was finally seen at 11:20 after complaining about the wait. I needed to find out if I had a dental issue or. Sinus problem plus I needed to establish a new dentist because of insurance. Even though they offer a new patient discount they refused the coupon because they didn't do a complete exam. What does that tell You? When I asked about scheduling a cleaning I was told I had to schedule a complete exam and then schedule the cleaning because they didn't know what type of cleaning they would have to do. when I asked the dentist about a basic cleaning she said that most older people have to have deep cleaning done every 4 months and they won't do a regular cleaning. This tells me that everyone that walks in requires their deep cleaning. It's a huge money maker for them! Charged me $40.00 for waiting 1.5 hours and 1 x-ray of 3 teeth and tapping on 2 teeth. Wouldn't accept their $29.00 new patient coupon. read more

So I went here because this is whom my provider sent me to. I'm Immediately noticed how crowded and overbooked they were. I Arrived on time with confirmation text in hand only for everyone to be confused and say they dnt have me in the system . She then takes my phone and send my confirmation to herself. At this point I've pulled my child out of school to make this appointment I scheduled 2weeks ago. She informs me they just took and "emergency " patient and that I with the 2week old appointment would have to wait till that patient is done being seen and to come back in 1hr. After she very unprofessionally told me I dnt have an appointment and that the system is broken....I take my little one for lunch come back. While doing my paperwork and setting me up she attempts to call my insurance and calls me. Then scrambled for another 20 mins giggling at her mistake only to comeback and tell me and my kid that my insurance isn't allowed. I then informed her that they are in my care provider system and instead of doin her due diligence and seeing where the discrepancy may have happened she told be to pay out of pocket or leave . Just rude , I'll mannered, Ill prepared and totally unprofessional. I asked her to look and see if maybe a past dentist in the office May have been working with my provider. No to be seen but to figure out the discrepancy so others peoples time isn't wasted and she was just snide and disconnected. Don't WASTE YOUR TIME! read more

Let's start with the very few positives of this place. The receptionists are always very nice and seem to remember you and care about your schedule when they are making new appointments. That's exactly where the positivity ends. The shortfall of this business have been apparent for years but today was the last straw and is the reason why I'm in the process of switching to Aspen. My jaw has been aching for months and today was finally the day to get some answers on why I have this pain and how we can fix it. The girl takes my x-rays, just the ones of a few teeth instead of the entire jaw x-ray. I get in the room and the dentist barely mumbles a word to me and pulls up x-rays that are NOT current and are at the very least a year or two old. He pokes a few teeth and acts as if he's done with the appointment by starting to leave. I ask him about my wisdom tooth that is about to pierce through my gum and he says "Oh so you want your wisdom teeth removed?" And then proceeds to leave with no explanation. A lady (very nice) walks in and pokes around my gums for a few minutes then tells me I need gingivitis treatment when I have my next cleaning. That's it. The appointment was over. I have never felt to underwhelmed at an appointment or in anything for that matter. My visit today was a paycheck from my insurance company and nothing more. To have to leave the room feeling the same jaw ache as before with NO answers or even discussion of the matter was insane. I will never step foot back into this place due to today and the way that I have been treated in the past. Also, be sure to sweep up the dead bugs off the floor and pick up the dirty shirt that was sitting in the room with me. read more

Ok this is for the Mariner and Spring Hill Location. In 2015 I had a root canal and crown put in. Cost about 1400.00 all together. ^ months later the crown fell off. I went back and the put it back on. Today my crown is hanging and they want to charge me $1600.00 to fix what I already paid to have done 3 years ago. Most crowns last about 10 years. Wow. I give one star because I cant give none. read more

They were fine until they moved to the fancy location. I had a good dentist and hygienist who both left the company after they moved to new location and started high pressuring for fancy extra treatments like Cancer Light. What the hell is that? I'm near 69 and now they want me to go see two specialists to determine they can still simply clean my teeth. Well I'm done with Bright now after this. Hopefully I'll find a decent dentist via my insurance or I'll drop the insurance and save the money. In Spring Hill dentists all charge about the same exorbitant rates for crowns and such. Unless one needs that kind of work just tend to your own mouth!! read more

What a rip off! Due to changes in insurance I had change from my dentist of 25 years to a new dentist. I was sent to Bright Now and chose the one in Spring Hill, Fl. Took a month or more to get an appointment. Then you cannot simply get a cleaning, you had to see a dentist first, with a full set of X-rays. Then you are told you need a deep cleaning. According to dental guidelines very FEW people ever need a deep cleaning. So I agreed to the appointment for a deep cleaning - they couldn't schedule me for over 4 weeks and then told me MY CHARGES would be $500.00. I called my other dentist and asked how much for a cleaning. Only $100.00 - unbelievable. I will go back to my regular dentist and drop my so called dental insurance. read more

I went to Bright Now on Spring Hill Drive. I had a molar that disintegrated due to very old large filling and tooth breaking. Had infection. Staff was pleasant, no wait with 8AM appt. Had X ray done then checked out by Dr. Christensen who said he could extract the roots, didn't need oral surgeon. Got antibiotic and returned following week.Chose to also have bone implanted post extraction in prep for dental implant which was my plan. After numbing me nicely, it was 15 minutes tops and done. Dr. Christensen is very calm, focused, reassured me that everything was going great during procedure. No chit chat with the dental assistant as I've experienced with other dentists. Very professional. Paperwork I left with had his home phone # to call if I had any problems. He called me at 7:30 that evening to see how I was doing. Healed great, stitches fell out 6 days later. I'll be back for check up and cleaning in a few weeks. Everyone in the office was pleasant, professional and seemed happy to be working there. That is a good sign. They also had an intern from local dental assistant school there who did my x ray and told me she was interning which I think is great. Dr. Christensen has been there almost a year, I asked. He is Mon. Wed. at this office and at US 19 office other days. Disclaimer: I do have dental insurance through Humana so my costs were very minimal and I don't know what cash costs would have been. read more
