My last pair of contacts ripped, and even though they were fully booked for the day, they still managed to squeeze me in which I really appreciated. Even though it was my first time visiting, everything went so smoothly from start to finish. The doctor and staff were very kind and patient throughout the whole appointment. My vision has honestly never been better! They also worked really well with my insurance, which made the experience even easier. I even got sent home with a little goodie bag! I've found the one for my eye care! My whole appointment was amazing, from Jennifer (the receptionist) to Dr. Ly. The whole office is thorough with my insurance co-pay walk through with Jennifer to the eye exam with Dr. Ly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I will be going here for all my eye appointments and recommending my family and friends to go. There's a private parking lot. Just walk through the double doors in the middle of the building after you park. You'll see Bright View Optometry on the left when you walk in. The office is beautiful. You have to see it yourself. After filling out paper work Jennifer was amazing and went through my co-pays and coverage so there wouldn't be any surprise fees at the end! Huge bonus since I'm not that knowledgable with my insurance at all. Dr. Ly came in and was super thorough. The eye puff machine was new so it wasn't as scary as the ones before and Dr. Ly had a machine that just takes a picture of your eye so you don't even have to get dilated. Saves you 4 hours of walking around like a blind person. She walked me through every step of the way and explained that my eye was healthy and showed me the pictures. Afterwards the typical eye exam. I explained I had Lasik before and Dr.Ly explained to me that I had 15/20 vision and my Lasik is holding up well and I didn't need any glasses. I've been to many places before that would just prescribe me -0.25 just so I would purchase something from them, but not here! I witnessed Dr. Ly talk very kindly to elderly couple that were trying to get an eye appointment in Vietnamese. She's very courteous and fluent in Vietnamese so huge bonus because my parents/grandparents can come here without me translating! Bright View Optometry is beautiful, warm and inviting. Just like Dr. Ly! I was having a bit of trouble with my prescription from another doctor, and came to Dr. Ly for a second opinion. I'm horribly near sighted with a touch of astigmatism (not to mention the deteriorating night vision) and let's just say my prescription for lenses can be a bit ...complicated. Not only is she incredibly nice and cute as a button, Dr. Ly is also very knowledgable and thorough. After the eye exam, she made a few minor adjustments to my current prescription and provided sample lenses to test for a few weeks. The improvement was significant and I'm going to be a patient for life. I live in Claremont, but she is definitely worth the drive! And honestly, it was the most fun office visit I've ever had! We were talking and cracking jokes with Jennifer, the office manager, and I think we were getting a bit carried away! Really great energy in here, and I 100% would recommend. PS. The selection of frames is pretty great, they have the pin-worthy designer frames you REALLY want (giant black Prada sunnies please) along with reasonably-priced-yet-chic frames that you can actually afford. What a phenomenal office! I went here to get a new pair of lenses and I cannot believe that I didn't discover this office sooner. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by two friendly faces (Jennifer and Tina). They were both extremely welcoming and helpful. Dr. Ly made sure that I was comfortable with my current prescription before proceeding to thoroughly explain my lens options. With my prescription, I've always had wickedly thick lenses which honestly limit my choice in frames. I have never really enjoyed going to the eye doctor, but with Dr. Ly I actually don't mind it now! She's everything past reviews have said and more -- kind, patient, passionate, caring, attentive, and bilingual (she also speaks fluent Vietnamese!). Dr. Ly has done my eye exams for almost half my life from the time I was a kid to now; she is amazing with kids and at making them feel safe and unafraid of eye doctors. I'm excited for her and her new office. She has surrounded herself with an amazing staff that are helpful and a beautiful selection of frames. I definitely left wanting more than one pair hahaha. Their office space is inviting and comforting with the cutest personal touches. They have toys for kids to play with and really comfy chairs to chill in before your appointment.
