Generally, I go very early or very late in the day, weekdays in particular. Otherwise, it can be quite crowded in the parking lots and walking around. She mentioned that the discrepancy could have been due to something she was looking up, but I pointed out that the cashier had just totaled someone else's purchases before me. This left me with the impression that the error wasn't an isolated incident, but perhaps part of a recurring issue. Overall, the experience at Torrid in Palm Desert Mall was disappointing. The unexpected overcharge and the indifferent attitude from both the cashier and the manager have left me questioning the store's attention to detail and customer service.
