We went there once and tried their cream cheese pastry and cinnamon roll (muffin shaped?), and both were so tasty! They were fresh and had really good flavors. The pasty was flaky and buttery and the cream cheese had the best combination of sweet and tangy. The cinnamon roll was fluffy and aromatic. Five stars for the most adorable local bakery. I saw it was super popular so I went ahead and placed a pre order for pick up while I was on the plane. We got there 20 minutes after opening and were greeted by a very friendly woman who found us our box and had me very tempted to order a few more things once I saw they weren't yet sold out for the day. The everything bagel croissant with the seasoned cream cheese middle was the best croissant I've ever had in my life and I've had quite a few good ones. It was so so good- such a great flavor combo, and the texture was spot on. My husband really enjoyed the sausage and cheese brioche which was also super soft and tasty. Lastly, we shared a giant chocolate chip cookie and that was also one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. I wish I lived here so I could come back and order one of everything- no joke, it is that good. So if you're ever in Nashville, I highly recommend a detour to this bakery. read more

The shop is small but absolutely adorable. The selection isn't huge but it's just enough that anyone should leave happy. I came early on a Saturday morning and there was already a small line. I purchased the Peanut Butter Banana Cinnaroll. It was excellent! It was sweet, definitely, but not sickly sweet the way desserts can sometimes be. The cinnamon/banana layer in the roll was lovely and the peanut butter frosting was surprisingly light. They sell plain coffee, but their forte is baked treats. During COVID times this is just a window, no seating, so be prepared to take it to-go and be cautious of the weather, as there is no overhang to protect from it. [Note: review covers the East location, on Porter Road.] In talking with my friend who lives there he let me know that many mornings (particularly on the weekend) they can sell out quickly, so if you know you want a morning treat it might be best to order the night before when they post what is available online. I can see why they sell out so fast - everything we had was fantastic! Of the sausage & cheddar brioche and ham & cheddar brioche I'd recommend the ham & cheddar. We had both, just to compare, and while both were tasty the ham & cheddar produced a more cohesive, warm and tasty flavoring (in my opinion). With some fruit on the side one brioche could make a good sized breakfast, as they're about the size of a standard teacup. At this point I can't remember which dessert we had along with the brioche(s), but I remember it being very well executed as well. Highly recommend for breakfast noms if you find yourself in East Nashville at any point. read more

If I had the chance to come here everyday during my stay, I would've! We got the cinnamon roll (house favorite) and the everything croissant with chive cream cheese. Both were unbelievably delicious. The cinnamon roll was so, so moist with a perfect ratio of filling to cream cheese icing. I'd have to say it was the best one I've ever had -- no doubt. The croissant nailed it too. It's a super small little shop in east Nashville and they are open Thursday-Sunday for limited hours- so make sure you check before you go. Wow! Read a review about their reopening and had to try it for myself. The croissants were bigger than my hand and so good! Croisssnts were flaky & crunchy outside and buttery & delicious outside. Love the cinnamon churro version and swear I tasted a bit of sea salt with the chocolate - nothing better than chocolate & salt together! Ok, I hate to give away my best secrets, but the owners and employees here are so great, I want them to be really successful! We are foodies and have lived in many foodie cities and this is the best pastry shop we've ever been to. The pastry is light, fluffy and cooked so there is just the perfect gooey center. They really maximize seasonal fruits, which I love. Strawberries belong in April/May, not September! And they remember us and what we like and are just so nice! The only thing that could make this place just a teeny bit better would be an espresso machine.
