They did let me know that they charge an extra $10 for pet hair, which I appreciated being told in advance. I would come back here and recommend this place to anyone. We had a car that smelled like something might have died in it this morning. It's a car I never drive so I have no idea how long it was like this. The smell was so bad, it provoked gagging and I had to drive with the windows down and Vick's under my nose. Libby and Chris couldn't have been kinder to me. They laid out their plan for getting it taken care of and assured me if for any reason it has a residual odor in the next few days to bring it right in and they will do another treatment. I will be going here from now on. The waiting area was clean and bright. The staff was super friendly and the owners clearly care very much about their business and customers. Oh and the smell? It was a bag of (not anymore) frozen broccoli. Ugh! read more

I had the interior of my F-150 detailed and it came back looking cleaner than when I picked it up from the dealership 8 years ago! Better yet, the staff there clearly cared about my happiness with the results. Several times they told me to let them know if there was anything that I wasn't happy with. From calling and asking questions to dropping the truck off, the staff at Brilliant was extremely friendly. They even went out of there way to try and clean some stains on the headliner for me (which they got off). Because this experience was so much better than previous visits, I asked if it was under new ownership - it was. Turns out in February of 2017 it changed hands. My car was really dirty and now it is like brand new. The car was ready when it was promised. It looks amazing. They cleaned every part of my car including the glove box. Paid $114 plus $10 tip for auto detailing. I made the mistake of tipping before inspecting my car. There was dust and debris left if the car. Very disappointing. Customer service of the front desk was great hence the 2 stars instead of 1. I have a Volvo XC 40 which is mostly hard surfaces so very easy to clean so not sure why so many surfaces were not cleaned. read more

Had a Groupon to get the car detailed. Making the appointment was a rather long email chain, but it got scheduled. First, the place was very difficult to find and the sign was small and against the fence- difficult to find if you are not staring at the side of the road. Impossible to do while driving. The cleaning process took longer than originally stated, but the car looked great. Two days later I got into my car and it smelled like mildew. Apparently the car was not completely dried out. My husband called and they asked us to bring it in again. We brought it in and it was treated at no cost. Once again, we were told over the phone it would take a couple of hours which worked out well. When we got there they didn't have us on the schedule and said it would be 4 hours. I had other places to be and 4 hours was going too long. They did get it done in 3 hours so I could be on my way. Half way up north, I got a call that they had taken stuff out of the car and did not return it. Of course they were going to be closed by the time I got back so my husband had to meet the owner the following Monday to collect my things. They are nice people, but not great at what they do. It was such a fiasco I will not be back. read more

The manager acts like a child. Victoria is her name. She is absolutely clueless as to good customer service. Her idea of conflict resolution is to say "Talk to Hank" who appears to be the owner but is rarely at the location. He freely admitted she acts like a child, but blames it on her being young and feels no need to make proper changes. Poor way to run a business. No accountability for staff that is on site. Seems like if he's not there then bad things don't need to be addressed. For someone with 14+ years experience he should want better for his customers and other employees. Cannot believe it took me this long to write a review but I thought of them as I drove by the other day. My car was DISGUSTING. Smoothie stains on interior, kid gum stuck in the back, carpets were gross. They completely transformed my car. The wonderful man there even laundered my kids car seat covers. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!!! GO THERE ASAP. They are amazing. read more

I just paid 195.00 for car detailing and was very disappointed. They missed lots of small details that were so easy to fix. Not much pride in work here and no one checked at the end. Rubber mats looked no different than when I do them. Inside was clean, all crumbs gone. Fabric mats were clean. I would recommend just getting the basic plan and waiting for a deal. When I dropped off the car they were expecting me and the car was ready before the promised time. Most importantly they did a fantastic job. Every single inch of the car was perfect. Better than I could have expected! I scheduled a valet pickup and detail 3 days out for a Saturday morning and they were there right on time to pick up my SUV and brought it back shinny as new. Worth more than every penny paid, I've tried several detail services in the past and they simply don't compare price wise while delivering similarly great cleaning quality. Definitely would recommenced to anyone looking for a quality, inexpensive deep clean. read more

I'll start by saying I've never had my car detail cleaned before. However, I started a new job in September which resulted in a longer commute and my car became a second home to me. I figured I'd take advantage of the Groupon and some time off to treat my car to some TLC. Calling and setting up the appointment was no problem. I dropped the car off at 8am and went about my day. By 3pm I became concerned because I hadn't heard anything about my car and I knew they closed at 5. I called 3 times and left two voicemails with no response. Finally, I asked my ride to just take me up there. When we pulled up I saw that my car had been moved (well that's a good sign) and when I walked in the guy behind the counter said "just in time! They just brought it around" He then handed me a half sheet of paper and explained that the car might not be fully dry on the interior. The paper suggested leaving the car in the garage with the windows down for the next couple of days. I finally opened my car and got in and my butt was soaked from the seat. Luckily it was only a 15 minute drive home, but still... shouldn't someone have offered a towel or something? The car is currently running with the heat blasting... Unfortunately the weather is so crappy today that I hardly got to take a look at the interior. Overall it seemed cleaner - I still noticed some stuff in the cracks of the seats, but it was definitely an improvement. I'll be heading out soon to get a dampx container to keep in my car while it's "airing out" in the garage over the next couple of days. read more

My car looks as it did leaving the car dealership and the owner even threw in a car wash (I had interior detailing done) because I was a medical student. The profile says I'm from SF, California. No, I'm from Livonia, MI. Brilliant Car Care, Plymouth, MI, had my vehicle, 2011 MKZ, for 5-6 hours. Front bumper not touched by any human hands since I washed it myself 1 week ago. Visible dirt that was removable with my hands on entire front bumper. Tree sap left on windshield. Visible dirt between folds in hand brake cover. So easy to see, that I noticed it while driving home. Dirt on rims that easily came off when I wiped my finger on it. For $200 this is unbelievable! Won't return, (not even for them to fix what they missed, ) for what is basically an over priced car wash. If you do something everyday, you should be better at it. If I would have worked on my vehicle myself for 5-6 hours, I could have done a better job. And saved my $. read more

I took my recently purchased 10 year old Jeep in for a complete detail. The car looks nearly brand new! They got the coffee stain out of the seats, the ground in dirt out of the carpet, and the smell of smoke out of the air! Can't wait to bring my mustang out of winter storage for it's detail! I scheduled an appointment ahead of time for 8 am drop-off. I showed up at 8 am promptly but the manager did not show up and therefore I had to wait a while before he showed up (this made me even later to work). Then they were behind and their original pickup time of 1-2 pm got moved back to 5 pm.... The car wash was spotty and had dirt/dust spots that were completely missed. The inside of the car was cleaned but had streaks from the cleaner everywhere. I had to go around with a lint-free towel and wipe it down to blend in the streaks. There were streaks of white on the sides of all the doors from whatever cleaner was used and not blended in properly. The floors were not fully cleaned and had spots with dust/dirt that were completely missed. The floor mats were only ~85% cleaned and had spots that were completely missed on the sides. The screen had dust and smears on it which is unacceptable. I paid an extra $30 for the seats to be scrubbed and they looked OKAY... some spots were still dusty. In conclusion, the car was much better than when I dropped it off, but for what I paid... I would ABSOLUTELY rather go somewhere else in the future. read more

Took my Avalon this morning to have it detailed clean - inside. Awesome job, well done. Car came out very clean. Technician reviewed car interior with me after the detail cleaning was complete and asked if there was something that needed further attention. Front desk personnel were very courteous and professional in answering my call, scheduling the service, receiving me at the front desk, reviewing the car with me after completion of the detailing service while recommending that I leave the car a little bit longer to get the carpet dry and finally processing the bill. I used my phone Google maps application and had no problem finding the location. I left my MP3 player, Garmin GPS, CD's and other electronics in the car. These were packed in two plastics bags, nothing missing. Speaks highly of people working at Brilliant Car Care - Plymouth. I will certainly go back to Brilliant Car Care with my other two cars. The location is pretty deep in a not so apparent location but the employees will give you a number to call and direct you if you are lost. The service was over the top friendly and professional. Feel free to ask them any questions and they'll give you their expert advice. They were able to remove scuffs and marks from my exterior that I did not believe could ever be removed! 5 stars! read more

Sprayed water on my screens and then blamed me for it, leaving me with a bill of $1,400 for the repair of both screens. See, both screens mysteriously went out at the same time, but because there was a sweet and sour stain on the dash, they got off on a technicality. But that doesn't account for the fact that BOTH screens went out immediately after I got the car back, and that water was visible underneath the one that still had a flickering of light. So if you value your property, don't send your car here. read more

nice people, great service! they said it would take 4 hours, and in 4 hours my car was done. it's a 2002 oldsmobile, and when i left it looked like new. i go the "glisten" treatment, which was a little over $100 on groupon. there is no separate waiting room, though there are a couple of chairs in their office, which is clean and pleasant. or, if you don't have anyone helping you drop your car off, there are several restaurants nearby where you could hang out and wait. alternatively, if you like to walk (as i do), downtown plymouth is only 15 or 20 minutes away, and there are many interesting shops and restaurants. this is a privately owned business, not a chain, and i felt that every person there truly cared about making sure i was happy with the service. which i was, very much. highly recommended! read more
