New to the area and decided to give this spot a chance; Overall I was satisfied with my acrylic nail service + gel pedicure. The staff were nice/friendly. BUT, there was a small hiccup; I also did a facial/eyebrow wax but it wasn't clean to where the small hairs were removed. Unfortunately, the gal had made a patch in my eyebrow with the wax which was at the start of my brow so it was noticeable. Tried this place as a walk in. It was close to another appt I had on that side of town. They were able to take me right away. This place is clean and beautifulIy decorated. I had the 5 step pedicure and deluxe manicure and lemme say when I left I felt brand new! They had on 80s rock videos on the tv which is kinda the key to my heart. Tim gave me the BEST massage with that pedicure. He gave me a great manicure too This place definitely passes the vibe check. For the 5 step pedicure with gel and the deluxe manicure w gel was 128 which I feel is pretty average so pricing is akin to the quality of the services. She did the dip first and then the manicure after so left space on my finger nails so it looks like there's polish missing and also cut my thumb and it kept bleeding all the way home. Came in today with an appointment and unfortunately left feeling a little disappointed with how I was treated. I had booked an appointment for three pedicures and one acrylic set. We arrived early, and they had us wait until our actual appointment time, which was fine. However, I ended up leaving without getting my manicure. It seemed pretty obvious that my nails could've been done while I was getting my pedicure, and Stephanie even mentioned she would take care of it -- but then she forgot and started working on other clients. Once my pedicure was done, I didn't want to sit and wait even longer. They did apologize, but honestly, what's the point of booking an appointment if this happens? I understand they were busy, but I had an appointment and still felt like I wasted my time. i really don't leave reviews like these, but i had to with this one. i'm really disappointed with my manicure. the lady that did my pedi and toes did fine, unfortunately i had asked that my toes match the metallic look i was going with for my mani, but i got regular gel and clear coat without the powder to give that affect. she had already finished up before i could say anything so at this point i was like okay, ill take it. the color is still cute. now my mani lady, she already had someone complaining about her work when i was finished up with my pedi, so i could tell she was already frustrated with the other customer because everything felt rushed. she cut my cuticle with the dremel and continued to handle the rest of my nails the same way. when we got to the art part, mannn. when i asked her to make the french tip longer, maybe i miscommunicated it, but instead she changed the color of my polish?? the photos speak for themselves. what i asked for and what i got are completely two different things. i'm so sad about these nails, i was really looking forward to them. if you haven't done these style of nails or aren't able to do the art, honestly just tell me. i'd still get other services done (like my toes) but would go elsewhere for a manicure and that's okay. it's better than wasting each others time. read more

I have been here a few times but this time I was ssoo impressed!!! I had my nails and toes done last week. Gel mani and gel pedi. Yesterday two of my nails chipped. So I called and they got me in the next day for a nail fix. Not only were the staff VERY nice, per usual, but my tech went above and beyond. She trimmed my cuticles, put another layer of polish and top coat to make ALL of my nails more durable. Typically after my nails chip after such a short time I would find another place to go, but with the excellent service from Brilliant Nails and Spa, I will return. I have an appt at 11a for my fill, I didn't get seen until close to 12nn - that I have to choose to have a pedicure so something is done for me while waiting. For the price that I paid and the service received, I was really disappointed. I have had my nails done over the YEARS and I have not ever been bamboozled like this in my life. I spent $190 for a pedi with gel and something I did NOT ask for new acrylic set. Mimi was nice and the guy was nice, but the owner came off as money hungry. If I specifically state in my "initial" request what I want and you give me a price sheet and I tell you the SAME thing, how do we jump from $45 to $100 for a pedi??? $10 per nail for partial rhinestones on a big toe??!!?? LUDICROUS! Did I pay her of course, without issue, but buyer beware they will try to get you EVERY WAY that they can as I did NOT ask for a new set and somehow I received one AND spent 4 HOURS, yes I said 4 hours in this salon. When you arrive to receive a gel pedicure and a fill with gel polish and some how end up paying $190 IS a total shock!! read more

Tony, MiMi, Jacquie & Calvin are so sweet! A coworker referred me to them in May and I've been coming to them faithfully ever since. They are so kind, caring and professional. I can always count on them to take me no matter if I made an appointment or not. They always have wonderful conversations and let you know about nail health which is one of the most important things to me when choosing a nail salon. The first time I came, Jacquie did my nails. We talked about what I wanted to achieve which was long, natural, strong nails. She suggested that I do hard gel overlay and let me know I wouldn't need acrylic powder overlay because my nails were strong. I showed her a photo from Pinterest and she was able to execute a design with each nail different by hand in less than 20 minutes. She is amazingly great at designs! Tony is the only man I allow to touch my feet! I'm not sure what type of magic he does, but my pedicures last a month--no breaking or nail chipping AT ALL! He is always so attentive to the health of my feet and always gives me compliments on the way I take care of his amazing work MiMi is so sweet and has a great sense of humor. She is the person who has been working in the nail business the longest and has many years of experience. When you get her talking her personality is so warming almost like a grandmother. Her work is also impeccable, I love doing simple nails with her and she always does what I ask! Calvin is always so pleasant. He is usually the person greeting or making the appointments. He will always find a way to fit you in! I've noticed he's really good at servicing multiple clients at one time. He always has a cheerful manner and loves to chat and joke around. My nail health has significantly improved sense I started coming to this salon. My nails grow faster, my pedicures last longer and I'm always happy to see them when it's time. Made an appointment at 3:15, but wasn't actually worked on til about 3:45-3:50. When it was my turn, the lady doing my nails didn't say anything to me. She was on her checking her phone throughout the entire process & would stop doing my nails to check her phone; I took a quick glance because she had it on the table next to my nails and she was on Facebook. Not only did she not say anything to me, but when it was time for me to put my nails under the light, she just pointed to it without a word... when it came to doing my nails, I felt like she was in a rush. She didn't even cut my cuticles. My nails are not the same, I asked for coffin, but they're more square than anything. Some fingers, the polish isn't even & you can see where the top coat Didn't reach the whole nail; it looks kind of black&dirty the way it dried. Some of my nails are thinner than others. The middle finger in my right hand looks like there was an air bubble and she just painted over it and it popped. If want until almost the end of the appointment when it was almost time to pay where she started to talk to me and be nice. I most likely will not be back. read more

They do thin acrylics that look realistic, gel that's thin and smooth (not icky chunky lumpy), and have a huge variety of colors and sparkly designs - they can do any design you want, so hop on Pinterest and find some fun ideas! I love Jacquelyn's designs so I tend to just tell her a color theme and let her surprise me :P The pedicures are fabulous too, my feet stay so soft for so long afterwards and my regular polish (not gel) lasted for SIX WEEKS without chipping. What??! And they play movies on a big wall projector, so time flies (and I always want to stick around to finish the movie :P). Terrible customer service! My sister and I came in for pedicures and gave us two different prices then "forgot" about the price he originally offered. The guy was the owner/manager but tried to pretend he had a different title when he forces us to pay before the service. I witnessed the white lady pay after all her services were completed. I immediately cancelled my service with the manager and chose not to do business with them. In addition the services are overpriced you can have a much better experience at an actual spa in 4/5 star hotel. I should've known better when I saw the nail salon empty with only the one white lady and the (2) employees. read more
