The technician filed my nails down but didn't shape them, leaving them looking rough and unfinished. When I politely asked if she was going to shape them or leave them sanded down, she responded rudely, which made me feel uncomfortable. She then started removing the color and ended up burning my finger in the process. At that point, I had lost confidence in the service and decided to leave rather than let her continue working on my nails. I expected a basic service to be handled with professionalism and care, but instead I left with damaged nails and a painful finger. I've been coming here for a few months now on a schedule and it's been the best experience I've ever had at a nail/lash salon. They do my pedicure and fill at the same time, very well (and fast!) and my lash fill is the fastest and best job I've had and the curing process Christine uses makes it to where I do not have to avoid water afterwards. I also get my lip and brows waxed, all in the same day. The whole process takes only 2.5 hours. Beauty Bar & Christine have simplified my beauty day and life by saving me time and money because the services are all in one place and they are very fast & efficient. This is very valuable to me! was coming here for a bit and loved it until now. i got an excellent pedicure from marvice but as soon as i asked to do all acrylic since i had more than 2 broken nails on my regular nails (i usually get gel manis on my real nails) i got paired with the owner, Christine, which I asked multiple times if she was ok with doing but somehow showed a very rushed, disinterested attitude. I also saw her tell the other tech once she was finished with my pedi to "move move move" multiple times out of the chair once she switched to me, the whole process with my mani felt overbearing and hurried like she had somewhere to be, even though she told me she didn't have anyone after me. i never really post reviews or have a bad experience, but today was something worth posting as I've never really felt that uncomfortable in this situation. Because of this experience, I will not be returning and the salon has lost a customer. I hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences. read more

This is my first yelp review and while I do feel bad doing it, I think it's necessary. My nail tech was Marvice. I asked for a gel-x manicure due to acrylics constantly hurting my natural nail. I know that gel-x sometimes burns while getting them done, but this pain was truly excruciating. I also would've preferred that she cut down my natural nails since some of them were already broken, but no. She left the non-broken nails the long length they were at. My nail tech might've been new to doing nails (I say this because of her filing technique), but while she was filing my nails, I was cut 3 times. Bleeding once. I don't know... I'm just pretty dissatisfied and won't be coming back here (which sucks since it's 1 mile from my house.) also cost me $90!! Lastly, I'm a pretty shy person naturally so having a nail tech who isn't very friendly kind of worsens the experience as well read more

It was easy to make an appointment, they have ALOT of colors to choose from, the nail and pedicure area was neat and clean, and I felt relaxed. Something else that I loved was the technician that did my pedicure was efficient, fast but not rushed, and gave the best foot massage. It was extremely nicely decorated for the holidays, extremely clean and organized! Also had a good laugh at you defending my cousin's color choice XD This last experience where you all were able to keep my aunt and I together as she got the mani and I got a pedi was greatly appreciated! I was afraid we were going to have to yell across the room at each other to have a conversation as we tried to catch up. I know the nuance of our appointment was also tedious (having to put my cousin's revisit on a separate appointment for her deposit), so thank you for the consideration and honoring that. My cousin is definitely excited to have gotten a gift card to see you all later =D BTW, cool idea on the deposit - gets people to stick to the appointment, such as my aunt. LOL.
